This study revolves around the NATO-led Operation Unified Protector in Libya 2011. The military campaign was executed under a UN mandate to protect the Libyan civilian population. Despite the mandate civilians died because of NATO bombings. The purpose of this study is to identify inadequate measures in avoiding civilian casualties during the operation and to continue to work towards minimizing civilian casualties caused by military organizations in international interventions.Early in the operation, NATO?s objective altered from protecting the civilians to over­throwing the Libyan regime. At the same time NATO changed its military targeting.

Syfte: Vårt syfte med denna uppsats är att identifiera och beskriva de faktorer som kritiskt inverkar på en webbkonfigurators framgång och öka förståelsen kring faktorernas påverkan ur ett företagsperspektiv. Vårt syfte är även att försöka identifiera och beskriva eventuella mönster, som kan ses som generella inom området för webbkonfiguratorer. Metod: Som metod för insamling av empirisk data, har vi använt oss utav enkäter. Dessa har sänts ut via elektronisk post till de medverkande företagen. Vi har även genomfört ett test av de medverkande företagens webbkonfiguratorer. Slutsats: Vi har med bakgrund av våra empiriska och teoretiska data identifierat och beskrivit ett antal faktorer som vi kan se som essentiella för en webbkonfigurators framgång. The concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) has lately gained popularity throughout the globalized world. Swedish retail industry is no exception. Though increased levels of explicitly claimed responsibilities of companies, a number of other facts points out a development that contradicts this trend. Labour conditions and forms of employment is substantially retrograding, with an increased level of insecurity characterizing the Swedish retail labour market. At the same time, almost all Swedish retail companies explicitly state claims on social responsibility.

This essays purpose is to accentuate the meaning of the knowledge of the design elements color, formand texture in the hair design education. Both the Bauhaus school and Pivot Point educationcampaign close knowledge in color, form and texture. In my study of the literature I compared theBauhaus school with Pivot Point International Inc, study material for hair design education. From thesimilarities in this material I develop a project in color, form and texture. This was a teaching test forstudents in the hair design education at the upper secondary.

This paper investigates strategic opportunities for film festivals in a digital film business, with emphasis on Göteborg international film festival and the Swedish film industry. Using a theoretical framework of strategy analysis, the film value chain is examined with special regards to disruptive technology, and the film festival's unique resources are linked to industry structure. It is shown that relationships between actors and across sectors are crucial features of the film industry, and hence a network perspective is added to the theoretical framework. Barriers to entry are shown to be relatively low in all sectors except the cinema market, and it is proposed that film festival's could expand into digital distribution, taking advantage of brand strength, customer loyalty and knowledge of industry. The study adds to the mounting research on film festival practice and its significance for marketing and distribution in the film industry, and highlights the emergence of strategic openings in destabilized networks..

Many new electronic publication systems have arisen in the past few years, one of them is the weblog. In 1999 there were 23 weblogs, today there are millions thus a need for organisation has appeared, both special metadata and subject indexes have been invented and created. Due to the large amount of the latter we have in this thesis decided to concentrate on those close by the Scandinavian weblogindexes. As an effect of this, the frequency of Chinese establishments in Sweden has increased heavily in the last ten years. One of the larger Chinese establishments in Sweden happened in 2003, by the telecom company Huawei. Företaget är verksamt inom branschen för packsalsutrustning och är beläget i Eksjö.Arbetet har gått ut på att ta fram konstruktionsprinciper för en ny strömtillriktare som ska klara av en produktionshastigt på 90 000tidningar/timma. En strömtillriktare är en enhet som sitter på, eller är integrerad i, en transportbana för tidningar och har till uppgift att centrera tidningsströmmen på banan efter olika moment i produktionen. De strömtillriktare som finns på marknaden i dag motsvarar inte fullt de krav och förväntningar som tryckerierna har med tanke på hur tidningen ska centreras och då helst när produktionshastigheten är hög.Det finns två typer av strömtillriktare, oscillerande bladjogger och bandjogger. Den oscillerande bladjoggern fungerar på det sättet att den med hjälp av två blad knuffar tidningen så att den centreras på banan.

Background: The design industry is relatively immature in Sweden but large on the international market, where companies have used services from industrial design firms for a long time. Companies incresignly realise that design is an efficient mean to gain competitive advantages on the market. Several design companies fancy growth and to receive a wider market share to expand on the international market. One of them is Design Communicaton who has made a couple of acquisitions, to receive wider comptences and to cover different segments. That has lead to an increased brand portfolio with different subbrands, which can be complicated to handle efficiently in the internal and external communication.

Internationella undersokningar fran TIMSS Advancerad 2008 (Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study) och fran PISA 2006 (Program for International Student Assesment) visar att elever inte har de kunskaper i matematik som kravs for att soka till de hogre tekniska utbildningarna. For att Sverige ska kunna folja med i den tekniska utvecklingen internationellt behovs en satsning pa matematik. Redan i forskolan behover barn fa de grundlaggande kunskaper i matematik som ar nodvandiga for fortsatt skolgang. AbstractThis study is about describing the pre- internationalization phase and to studycompanies that are in this phase. We are trying to capture characteristics of decisionmakersin the pre- internationalization phase, to then compare the theoretical materialwith empirical material from case companies. Then in the final stages of the thesis, wewant to account for if we managed to answer our research questions. In the method, wegive a description of the approach selected in conjunction with the study. The study isqualitative and we used both primary and secondary data, with a deductive approach.The theory chapter will consider the most relevant theories that are related to the topic,which is internationalization, pre-internationalization, international entrepreneurship,and the psychology behind personalities, attitudes, and how these can affect theorganization's strategic decisions.

I will write about product placement in film from a Swedish point of view. This entails writing about Swedish films with different types of product placements, not only how they are done but also discuss how they succeed from a sales perspective. In my earlier work I have written about the product placement of watches. In this thesis I focus on the film series about the Swedish agent Carl Hamilton, since here you can see how Swedish film has developed during the past 30 years with regard to product placements. Both world politics and the concrete placements are illustrated in a clear way.
