This paper is intending to examine the intercultural aspects of two teaching aids used in Swedish schools today. How does the material take the students prerequisite in consideration? Is every student included in the material in order with the standpoint and laws in the Swedish school system? And if they are not, who is the outsider in this occasion? With intercultural pedagogy lies the idea that everyone is unique and that teachers has an opportunity to develop and make student grow mentally. Intercultural endeavor is to learn to accept our differences and see them as assets instead. AbstractThis bachelor thesis was performed at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm on behalf of the Land Survey Authority. The thesis is about fish conservation and division of fishing water at official duty. It is the Land Survey Authority that examines division of fisheries, but before a case can be implemented, certain requirements must be achieved such as FBL 3:8, which prevent divisions that are deleterious for fish conservation. The purpose of this thesis is: to obtain a clearer view how FBL 3:8 should be applied in practice, how the application differs between the offices in central Sweden, and how fish care is regulated at both international and national levels.At an international level, in EU the commercial fishery is regulated through the common fisheries policy (CFP). The fisheries policy consists of a reform that will last for 10 years.

Bakgrund och problem: Från och med 2005 är det obligatoriskt för alla börsnoterade företag inom EU att tillämpa IFRS, International Financial Reporting Standards, vid upprättandet av koncernredovisningen. En av dessa standarder är IAS 14, segmentrapportering. Den reglerar hur rörelsegrenar, affärsområden och marknadsområden ska redovisas. Nu finns ett utkast till standard från International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) som är tänkt att förändra och förbättra gällande standard avseende segmentrapportering, IAS 14. Syfte: Att undersöka vad revisorer, företag och analytiker tror om den föreslagna förändringen av segmentrapporteringen och vilka konsekvenser det kan medföra.

This study is made in order to see how music teachers pedagogic design their teaching from a semiotic design theoretical perspective. A survey was done in a study to see how the music college students experienced their music theory teaching. This was followed by an observation of two different music theory teachers teaching music theory and with subsequent interviews. One teacher taught music theory at a swedish non-compulsory School of Arts, Kulturskola, and the other music teacher taught at an independent adult education college. The study's questionnaire, observation and interview revealed patterns of teaching, probably largely due to the teaching tradition.

In this thesis I will discuss how US respectively EU general international security policies are formed with the scientific theories Rational Choice and Cognitive theory in mind. I?ll discuss how come US tends to go towards a more sanction orientated strategy while European Union seems to prefer a dialog and diplomatic problem solving strategy. I?ll exemplify respective security strategy through the qualitative cases study of Iran and analyse why they have taken different cores of action while trying to solve the problem with Iran's alleged nuclear weapon.

Introduktion/bakgrund: Artros är en kronisk ledsjukdom som drabbar en eller flera leder i kroppen. Vanliga symptom är smärta, stelhet, svullnad, muskelsvaghet och ledinstabilitet. Träning, viktnedgång och patientinformation är de tre viktigaste behandlingsrekommendationerna. Behandling bör påbörjas så tidigt som möjligt i sjukdomsförloppet för att ha bäst effekt. På flertalet hälsovårdscentraler i landet genomförs artrosbehandling i form av en artrosskola där träning och patientinformation står i fokus, dock är det inte infört på samtliga hälsocentraler.

In this examination project I look into what ways upper secondary school students conceive themselves as politically influenced before they voted for the general election of 2010. The purpose is to examine which influences the upper secondary school surroundings and the classes of civic education are contributing with to students before they voted. As a method, I have used personal, semi-structural interviews on eight upper secondary school students who all voted for a party represented in the parliament. I have asked questions about how they believe their parents, the surroundings of their school and the classes of civic education have influenced them. To separate which influences primarily the upper secondary school and the classes of civic educations have had on the students, I have selected two comparison groups of four students in each.

The aim of this study is to widen our knowledge about the basic idea about having an open preschool for adopted children as understood by parents of adopted children and a preschool teacher. Sweden has a large number of international adoptions, in an international comparison among the highest numbers of adoptions per capita. Interviews were carried out with seven adoptive parents and one preschool teacher teaching at a special preschool for adopted children. It was found that adoptive parents had no particular problems with placing their children in an "ordinary" preschool. However, they choose to place the children in an open preschool solely for adopted children because of the possibility of sharing similar experiences as parents and children as well.

SyfteStudiens övergripande syfte var att undersöka vilka skäl som finns till att avstå från hälsotester genomförda inom företagshälsovård. För att synliggöra och öka förståelsen för dessa skäl, var studiens delsyften att undersöka bortfallsgruppens inställning till hälsotesteroch hälsosatsningar, där hälsotester ingår som en del.MetodGenom kontakt med Liv&Lust AB och Preem Petroleum AB gavs möjlighet attgenomföra en studie av bortfallsgruppen, dvs. de individer som arbetar på Preem, Huvudkontoret på Gärdet i Stockholm, och som avstått från att, på frivillig basis, deltaga i Liv&Lust Första Hälsoplantest under 2002-2003. En kvalitativ intervju genomfördes med nio personer ur bortfallsgruppen under våren 2003 på Preem:s huvudkontor. Intervjuerna var halvstrukturerade och deras längd varierade mellan cirka 35 till cirka 60 minuter.  Resultaten kategoriserades först efter meningsbärande utsagor och analyserades därefter utifrån Antonovskys KASAM-modell innehållande de tre komponenterna: meningsfullhet, begriplighet och hanterbarhet.ResultatEn vanlig orsak som uppgavs som skäl till att avstå från Hälsoplantest var tidsbristpga.

By providing the right measures in time when it comes to nutrition the mortality can be reduced considerably.Objective: To examine and summarise the scientific ground when it comes to the best nutrition therapy for preterm children and children born with a low birth weight.Search strategy: A systematic literature search was done in the databases Pubmed, Cohrane and Scopus.

Följsamhet till bromsmediciner mot HIV är viktig då allt fler patienter i världen ges behandling och dålig följsamhet till mediciner har visat ge resistensutveckling. Syftet med denna studie var att få förståelse för varför patienter på Huddinges HIV-mottagning avbryter sin behandling. Kvalitativa halvstrukturerade intervjuer gjordes med sju patienter som på eget eller läkarens initiativ avbrutit behandling. En induktiv tematisk analys av data visade att patienternas uppfattning om de viktigaste orsakerna till avbrottet från behandling var fysiska biverkningar, tabletternas negativa inverkan på vardagen och läkarens inflytande. Resultaten får stöd i tidigare forskning kring följsamhet till bromsmediciner.

The purpose of this study is to increase knowledge and clarify how active educators regard ICT- tools as aids, both the educators currently using the ICT- tools to improve writing skills and educators who have not yet embraced it. The study is based on four interviews with educators working within the age groups grade 1- 3. The findings of this study show a strong commitment among all educators, in terms of students' writing skills and their different approaches to working with writing skills, which is important as one method should not preclude another. In the findings a considerable curiosity can be seen for ICT- tools for writing instruction by the educators who have not embraced it. Tidigare forskning kring funktionshindrade elevers skolgång och behov har oftast kretsat runt föräldrarnas eller andra vuxnas perspektiv. Barn och unga med funktionshinder har setts med vuxnas ögon. Röster och erfarenheter från barn och ungdomar med funktionshinder har i stort saknats i utredningar och betänkanden. Detta trots att Sverige förbundit sig att efterleva FN:s konvention om barnets rättigheter och inlemma barn och unga i beslutsprocesser. Med utgångspunkt från artikel 12 i FN:s barnkonvention, om barns rätt att höras och bli hörda och den nyligen initierade utredningen om bland annat behovet av en specialskola för elever i gymnasieålder, samt kommunernas möjlighet att anordna utbildning för elever med vissa funktionshinder, var syftet med den aktuella studien att belysa funktionshindrade barn och ungdomars erfarenheter och upplevelser av sin skolsituation.
