En hållbar samhällsutveckling beror på tre faktorer; naturen, människan och samhället. I dagens läge vill människan minimera de påfrestningarna som miljön och omgivningen utsätts för. Det är därför viktigt att se över hur resurserna utnyttjas. Ett bra exempel på detta är att befintliga trafikleder inom tätbebyggda städer byggs över, sådana projekt kallas överdäckningar. På detta sätt skapas både byggbar yta och negativa effekter av trafikleder minskas inom tätbebyggda områden.

The aim of this thesis is that through a case study, analyze and evaluate whether the customer is high - or low involved and connect with the choice of marketing strategy using a celebrity.This thesis is about how a celebrity can be used in marketing to affect a company's customers. The essay is facing the fashion retail industry, where three companies, Lindex, H&M and MQ, has been studied and compared. Lindex is using celebritiy Emma Wiklund by an internal collaboration within the enterprise. MQ is using various celebrities in various campaigns throughout the year and use them in external advertising campaigns. H&M is using interactive marketing with different celebrities in the form of, for example, guest collections for the company.

It is important that companies knows how to handle a complaint when they receive one from a customer. This information could the company take care of and use when they develop new services. Furthermore a good complain handling leads to satisfied and loyal customers which increases the revenue for the company. We have examined how SAS handle their internal information process and if this process affects the information and in that case how. The study is performed with a qualitative method, based on deep interviews.

AbstractOur purpose for making this study is to study the implementation, the use of and the effects of Lean within our case objects.  We chose to make this thesis by case studies. The three themes mentioned above is also the main research questions that we aim to find an answer to by this study. We have chosen to do a cross section analysis where we conducted structured interviews to find answers to these questions. The theoretical reference frame consists partly of traditional theoreticians within Lean but also more recent research within the subject as well as theory specifically for Lean within the Health Care sector.The result of this study shows in all our case studies that the Management has been supporting the implementation, but that the implementation process proceeds faster if also the professionals are involved in the process.  To succeed with the implementation there is a great need for good reasons and strives that can benefit the professionals. By the use of Lean our case studies have evaluated its processes, with the main intentions being to reduce waste activities and to create flows with ?pull systems?.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the managers? perspective on leadership in relation to the motivation of the employees by an example of a manning and recruitment agencies. This is implemented by framing of two questions; What kind of leadership can be identified by middle managers to motivate their employees? Which motivation factors are relevant to employees based on the perspective of the managers? To answer the question and identify leadership strategies and motivational factors and the relationship in between, we have conducted eight interviews with persons who hold a middle management position. Through a qualitative investigation we have been able to go into depth and had access to these managers reflections, thoughts and experiences.

Examensarbetets målsättning var att studera de materialrörelser som uppkommer i direkt anslutning till stranden genom påverkan av fartygsvågor. Intressant var just att studera sådant material som Daleke et al (1989) finner en överensstämmelse med ? mellan sina iakttagelser och en felaktig version av Hjulströmskurvan ? men även annat material skulle studeras. Arbetet utfördes i Furusundsleden och i farleden vid Lidingö där trafiken av Finlandsfärjor är tät.I farleder som till vattenvolym är begränsade uppstår kraftiga vattenrörelser, sugeffekter förutom de vanliga svallvågor som bryter mot stranden. The essay is based on observationsand qualitative interviews with young people at the ages of 13 to 16 years old, whovisited the public library of Skara, employees at the library, and politicians in the community.The main issue in the study is; what is and what can be done to increase youth utilization ofpublic libraries. Syftet med denna uppsats var att studera djurvälfärden på inkommande slakttransporter vidett slakteri i Östergötland samt att undersöka om lagstadgade krav efterföljs på dessa. Datasamlades in genom att tillsammans med Länsstyrelsen i Östergötlands län utföradjurskyddskontroller vid avlastningen på slaktanläggningen under två dagar i april 2010.Som bedömningsunderlag hade en checklista med fokus på djuren, transportmedlet ochdokumentationen utformats.Att bedöma välfärd är subjektivt, därför utgjordes flertalet av checklistans kontrollpunkterav lagstadgade krav. Dessa krav är satta till miniminivå och allt annat under deras gräns ärinte ett acceptabelt djurskydd eller djurvälfärd. För att få en bredare bild lades vissaparametrar till efter vad tidigare studier och litteratur påvisar som välfärdsproblem vidtransporter av nötkreatur. För att få med en annan synvinkel telefonintervjuades ävendjurtransportörerna kring frågor rörande djurvälfärd och svårigheter i yrket.Resultatet visade på vissa brister av varierande allvarlighetsgrad och inverkan pådjurvälfärden.

The Swedish Transport Administration manage nearly 4,000 railway bridges in different condition and age around the country. These bridges is in constant need of maintenance and requires continuous inspections. This thesis is designed as a damage investigation on a single-track railway bridge south of Solvarbo in Säter municipality. The railway bridge is in operation and serves over 10,000 trains a year, everything from speed trains to freight trains. The bridge is built as a beam bridge, simply supported over a road.

Rapporten ämnar hitta vilka möjliga nedslag enaktivering kan få för transportbranschen i Europa.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att utröna hur en omfattande förändring avregelverket IAS 17 kan påverka en redan ansträngd bransch i form avförsämrad finansiell ställning.Avgränsning: Avgränsning görs till transportbolag i Europa från länder sompresenterar en väsentlig andel leasing. White- and blue collar workers traditionally belong to different unions and, therefore, are covered by different collective agreements. Collective agreements for different employee categories create internal divisions, which mean that white collar workers are not obliged to do work that falls under a blue collar agreement and reversed. Historically the difference between white- and blue collar work has been fairly sharp and so has the difference between collective agreements. Due to the continuous development of technology white- and blue collar work within production has become less clear. This has resulted in an increasing amount of disagreements regarding what collective agreement should apply and whether the employee is obliged to perform different work tasks.
