During the last decade research in leadership has escalated and newleadership styles have started to prevail. This study intends to examinewhether a leaders increased level of motivation in turn can motivateemployees. A major company included all employees in a leader position inan exhaustive intervention with the purpose to increase the leaders?motivation in order for them to motivate their employees. After theintervention, which ended in spring 2012, interviews with six differentemployees at the company were made to see if their level of motivation hadincreased.

Syftet med undersökningen är att beskriva hur reklamen för ett IT-företag ska utformas så att föreningar i Sverige ska förstå och övertygas av dess innehåll.Vi har genomfört en kvantitativ undersökning bland föreningar i Sverige. En webbenkät skickades ut via mail till 1056 stycken föreningar över hela Sverige där de fick utvärdera ett reklamblad. Av de 1056 föreningarna ringde vi till 204 stycken och frågade om de kunde delta i undersökningen. Totalt deltog 259 stycken i vår undersökning. Undersökningen pågick under en vecka. Resultatet visade att majoriteten av respondenterna fick en positiv attityd kring reklambladet.

Physiotherapists treat people with different views of the world and medical beliefs, which require a good understanding of cultural differences. One way to achieve cultural understanding is through self-reflection in a new context. During five weeks the authors, two physiotherapy students, completed a clinical practice at the rehabilitation center Pina Palmera, Zipolite, Oaxaca, Mexico. At the beginning of the period a critical incident was chosen, when the head physiotherapist for the ward Cuidados Especiales intended to sell jewellery to the authors during a treatment of a patient. The authors have by using the reflection framework "Framework to guide reflective process", and Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) for analysis, discussed different ways of communication, adherence, education, and self-reflection and critical thinking.

The!process! also! builds! on! that! ideas! should! come! from! the! users! first,! and! then! being!further!developed!by!the!company's!product!developers.!The!degree!of!communication!between!users!and!the!company!is!shown!and!the!report!clarifies!the!user!involvement!intensity!in!product!development!processes.!!The!involvement!process!that!has!been!developed!has!also!been!summarized!in!a!guide!that! can!be!used!by! a! company!on! a!daily!basis.!This! contains! information!on,! among!other!things,!how!users!are!selected!and!how!to!plan!a!workshop.!!! !.

BakgrundVarför datorn och internet som informations- och kommunikationsteknologi ska finnas redan i förskolan är något som besvaras genom en översikt av vetenskapliga rapporter och aktuell litteratur i ämnet. Flera av de styrande krafterna som påverkar förskolans verksamhet beskrivs och även förekommande attityder till teknikimplementeringen som nu börjat ske. Perspektiv på lärande, värderad kunskap i samhället och på motivation till lärande tas upp och diskuteras i relation till teknikanvändning.SyfteAtt undersöka datoranvändning i en förskola som har pektavla, pekplatta och stationär dator i verksamheten.- Hur ser användandet ut i olika aktiviteter?- Vilka pedagogiska fördelar bidrar teknikanvändningen med i verksamheten?- Vilka faktorer påverkar användandet?MetodUndersökningen har en hermeneutisk utgångspunkt och tog inspiration från den etnografiska forskningsansatsen då dess huvudsyfte var att identifiera de faktorer som möjliggör eller begränsar människors handlande inom den kultur som undersöks. De redskapen för inhämtning av underlag till studien var fältforskning i form av observationer och informella intervjuer och fältsamtal.ResultatFältforskningen resulterade i en mängd exempel på hur förskolan använde tekniken till att både ersätta redan existerande aktiviteter, men även hur den bidragit till att utveckla och förändra aktiviteter och arbetssätt.

Detta arbete visar processen och olika element som kan användas eller krävs för att skapa en trovärdig fantasymiljö. Genom att läsa, samla in och sammanfatta information om miljöer, växter, tekniska processer, färger, ljus och form från litteratur, internet och egna erfarenheter har vi skapat en slags guide över hur man kan skapa en trovärdig miljö. Växter kan inte ha för enformig placering i miljön utan måste placeras enligt slumpmässig naturligt kaos. De 3D-modeller som miljön innefattar måste ha vissa attribut så som smuts, damm, röta, brister, rivor och sprickor. Inget är kliniskt rent i naturen. Något som man oftast inte tänker på, är att det nästan inte finns kanter i naturen som är helt skarpa och vassa, därför bör man tänka på att runda de flesta kanterna på sina modeller.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to investigate international students? views regarding information seeking and use of information sources. A further aim is also to investigate the possible factors influencing information seeking in relation to everyday life for international students. Interviews were carried out with eight international students, 20-35 years old from three continents. They were to stay in Sweden for at least five months for the purpose of studying.

AimThe purpose of this study is to investigate if there is any variance between masculine and feminine physical education teachers leadership.Are men more authoritarian than woman in their education? Do the influence of pupils have something to do with the gender of the teacher?s? Do the pupils respect masculine physical education teachers any different compound to feminine teachers?MethodWe have studied relevant literature that consider masculine and feminine leadership. The choice was to work with senior compulsory school. We choose the community of Botkyrka, through comfort choice. The criterion for the teachers were that they would have a swedish physical education and have been working at least for 4 years.

The aim was to study the factors that contributed to the prescription of physical activity on prescription (PaP) by the professions in primary healthcare. A qualitative method was used in the study. The sample consisted of six participants; two doctors, two physiotherapists and two district nurses in primary healthcare in Uppsala County. The data were collected with semi-structured interviews and were analyzed with a thematic approach. The results show a great variety in which type of patient that receive PaP, however people with lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and obesity are often more represented.

This master?s thesis seeks to examine how a public library use the intranet with regards to the possibilities that today?s intranet technology offer ? especially concerning functionalities that support information, communication and knowledge exchange in the organization. The purpose of the study is to investigate how employees in one specific public library perceive and use the intranet in their daily work. The theoretical framework takes its point of departure in two complementing models regarding the implementation, development and management of intranets and a model of a multi perspective view of the intranet as a shared information space for content, communication and collaboration. The study is based on interviews with eleven of the intranet users, whom with the aid of an interview guide have been asked questions regarding goals, implementation, content, design, applications and advantages/disadvantages with the intranet.

The aim of this thesis is to describe and compare the cataloguing rules for sound recordings: the rules used by a specialised archive and common libraries respectively. We will put the rules in relation to purposes (the objectives of a bibliographic system) and principles (directives that guide the construction of a bibliographic language). The first question to be answered is in which way the set of rules used by a specialised archive differ from the one used by common libraries. The second question examines if and how the differences can be derived from purposes and principles. The sets of rules studied are KRS (chapter 6) and the Swedish version of the IASA Cataloguing Rules (1999), worked out by the National Archive of Sound and Moving Images (SLBA).

Organic material used for biogas production can also undergo other treatments. The emissions and impact from the different treatments are evaluated in this environmental assessment, with a focus on energy and climate. The materials included in the study are organic household waste, slaughterhouse waste and liquid manure. Other than biogas production, the possible treatments for organic household waste and slaughterhouse waste are incineration and composting, and for liquid manure storing and spreading. The analysis is based on data and information from current and relevant literature, and relates to the conditions in the Swedish energy system.

Kreativitet är en förmåga som är efterfrågad i vårt samhälle och som anses viktig i många olika sammanhang, men som är svårt att beskriva i ord och svårt att bedöma i undervisningen. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur elevernas kreativitet kan stimuleras i slöjden när de får arbeta med egna idéer. Som metod har jag använt aktionsforskning. Eleverna har fått arbeta med egna idéer och jag har samlat information med hjälp av observationer, egna loggboksanteckningar, reflektionsblad och samtal med eleverna. Som bakgrund har jag använt Vygotskijs kreativitetsteori samt annan aktuell forskning som visar på att kreativitet går att lära ut och träna och vilka faktorer som stimulerar detta lärande.

Abortion remains a contentious issue, which greatly raises ethical problems. This thesis examines the leading arguments in the Swedish abortion debate around the ? in terms of legislation ? critical years of 1938 and 1974. With Foucault's genealogical method, Butler's theories of gender as a social construction in relation to power and doxa, the study examines what the development of the argumentation says about the views on morality, the woman's body, life, individual and state? How has the arguments pro and against abortion changed over time and what does this say about the norms that guide and orientate the arguments? The most obvious change in argumentation is seen in the shift from an absolute moral and conservative position into an increasingly relativistic and liberal position, and this study will argue that this shift has its prerequisites in the changing status of the citizen and state.
