Studies have shown that user participation is a good method when improving or developing a product. The method gives a company insight in what the customer wants and needs. It has also been shown that user participation benefits all parts included. For example, it creates a greater relationship with customers than most other methods do. The purpose of this study was to examine two medium-sized municipalities are working to people with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to go from daily activities to a paid employment in the regular labor. Work is seen as a civil right and is a measure of participa-tion in society. The Swedish government believes that the work must be available to all that includes people with intellectual disabilities. Even so, daily activities, the contribution of LSS is increases the most. The daily activities will offer incentives, development, and community and shall contribute to people get access to work or studies.

This bachelor thesis covers fire protection methods of structural steel and the aim is to develop an information tool designed for inexperienced structural engineers. The information tool covers basic fire protection methods and the general way to produce a fire resistance for structural steel. The layout of this information tool is a simple folder that contains information about the most important steps when producing fire protection for a steel structure.The thesis starts with a general overview of the fire protection needed in buildings to fulfill national legislative and regulatory requirements. To get an understanding of how steel components behave during the influence of fire, a brief overview is presented of the material properties of steel. This chapter also contains a review of previous research in the area.

De senaste åren har jag fascinerats över relationen mellan människan och landskapet. Jag tror starkt på att brukarna måste ha en betydande roll i planering och gestaltning av offentliga platser och jag är långt ifrån ensam om att tro på medborgardialogen som nyckeln till det hållbara samhället. Många är de dokument som behandlar medborgarinflytande och som lyfter dess betydelse för samhällsbyggandet. Enligt flera lagstiftningar framgår det att alla människor bör få vara delaktiga i beslut som rör det samhälle de lever i. Samtidigt finns det idag flera grupper av människor vars åsikter aldrig når beslutsfattande processer.

The purpose of this study would be to explain how the organisational culture affect the internal communication between the middle manager and his or hers subordinates.Theories: The basic theories in the study are The basic model, Internal communication, Levels of culture, High-power culture, Socialconstructions, Organisational structures and Leader Member Exchange Theory.Method: The study is based on the qualitative approach. We have used interviews for our collection of raw data.

In this essay I point out that the presence of  ?Otherness? plays a key role in the novel The Beach by Alex Garland, and that the text relates to a colonial literary tradition. I?ve mainly used the distinction of Otherness and cultural representation presented by the postcolonial theorist Edward W. Said to guide me.

Vad som sällan framgår är vad dessa värderingar innebär för den anställde. Det är mot denna bakgrund som studiens syfte arbetats fram. Studiens syfte är att undersöka vilken funktion organisationens explicita värderingar fyller i det vardagliga arbetet.I studien har sex intervjuer genomförts med anställda inom en organisation som gjort sina värderingar publika.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att bidra till en ökad förståelse för begreppet sponsringen genom att identifiera och analysera bakomliggande motiv till sponsring, faktorer som avgör val av sponsorobjekt samt om och hur sponsringen utvärderas. Studien genomfördes ur ett företagsperspektiv. Vår insamlade primärdata bygger på intervjuer med sponsoransvariga på Folksam, Svenska Spel och Scania.Metoden som tillämpades i uppsatsen bygger på Strauss & Corbins tankegångar kring grundad teori. Genom en interaktiv process av datainsamling och analys fick vi fram kategorier, relationer och olika mönster som vi förde ett resonemang kring.Resultat vi kan fastställa är att motiv och mål inte är exkluderande utan flera kan uppnås med en och samma sponsorsatsning. Varav sponsring kan beskrivas som ett verktyg med pluralistiska möjligheter.

There's a good adherence to the vaccination of children, about 98% of all two year olds are vaccinated. Despite this, there are cases of whooping cough and measles in Sweden. The purpose of the study was to describe what motivates parents to not vaccinate and reflections and attiudes about vaccinations. The study had a descriptive design with qualitative approach. Eight parents who had chosen not to follow the National Board of Health?s vaccination program or whom had decided to completely abandon, participated in the study.

Background: One in three breastfeeding women sustain a chest complication. Many mothers feel that breastfeeding counselors have been the key to initiate and maintain the breastfeeding.Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate mothers? experiences of breastfeeding problems and the advice given from a breastfeeding clinic in a large Swedish city.Method: A qualitative interview study with an inductive approach was made. Ten mothers were interviewed through a semi-structured interview guide. Data were analyzed by using content analysis.Results: Three categories and six sub-categories of mothers' perceptions of breastfeeding pro- blems and the advice they got from the breastfeeding clinic were identified.

Under vår tidigare studie med titel ?Utveckling eller förveckling; En interaktiv studie om en förändringsprocess på en gymnasieskola.? (Alexandersson & Carlén, 2007) uppmärksammade vi förändringsarbetes komplexitet. Tillsammans med lärarna och skolledningen togs beslutet att följa upp deras utvecklingsprocess genom denna studie av fördjupande karaktär. Studiens syfte var att förstå vad som sker i en arbetslagspraktik i samband med ett utvecklingsarbete med fokus på de kritiska aspekter som kan uppstå i en sådan process. Vi antog en hermeneutisk ansats och valde aktionsforskning som metod där vi använde reflexiva intervjuer som erbjuder flexibilitet vid intervjutillfällena. Analysarbetet präglades av att tolka, och reflektera över, den insamlade datan i relation till vår förförståelse som inom hermeneutiken ses som grundläggande. Resultatet visar på hur flera olika faktorer inverkar på, och samverkar i, förändringsarbete.

This thesis work resulted in a template for how the thermal spray process can be controlled through robot programs. The robots today and their programs need to be replaced, therefore a new structure which can be matched with the new robot systems is needed. The work is limited to only concern structured programming on the new robots on Thermal Spray Centre (TC) with the programming language Rapid. The basic data for the program was retrieved from interviews with concerned personnel at TC, from studies on process parameters for thermal spray and from existing specifications at Volvo Aero Corporation (VAC). The thesis work briefly describes the process thermal spray and the four methods used at VAC.

Föratt kunna verka i denna skola behöver lärare en digital kompetens. Hur man utvecklar den ochvilka faktorer som påverkar den behandlar detta examensarbete. I arbetet används enutvecklingsmodell för lärares digitala kompetens.

The terms?inclusion? and? a school for all? are closely connected. The question schools can ask themselves is how they choose to create inclusion and a school for all and also in what perspective. The purpose with this study was to find out how the headmasters and the teachers at ?Blommans skola? reasoned about the definition ?inclusion?.
