The object of the thesis is to propose a new design for the neighbourhood of Veiberg that is situated in the small Norwegian town Jessheim. My approach was to first make an analysis of the whole community and the structure of the town, and then gradually focus on the actual neighbourhood to continue the research there. In recent years there has been a growing interest directed towards focusing on the importance of clear evidence for interventions in social work. To enable the measurement it?s necessary to develop concrete models with manuals on how social work should be designed. Evaluation of the benefits is made in relation to how well the method can detect evidence of clear measurable results. When measuring the result it?s of importance to emphasis on pre and post the situation, not the situation where social work takes place.

Temporary architecture is an alternative urban planning concept which has been adapted in many cities worldwide during the last decade. There is however no common definition for temporary architecture and it is diversely labelled and applied. In 2013 it also became publicly introduced in Stockholm via the approval of the city's first architectural guideline. Temporary architecture is presented in the guideline as a potential tool for exploring public spaces among other architecture related themes. The ideas for temporary architecture are ambitious and promising. The problem is that they are vague and leaves questions regarding performance unanswered.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att belysa en del av problematiken kringundertextning av utländska filmer. Analysen är begränsad tillöverföringen av svordomar till svenska undertexter i den brittiska filmenBilly Elliot (2000) och ger svar på bland annat följande frågor: Vilkafunktioner fyller svordomar? Vilka strategier använder undertextare vidöversättning av svordomar i talade repliker till skrift i undertexter?Vilken effekt har resultatet av överföringen?Undertextning av film i olika media utförd av olika undertextare kannaturligtvis variera i utformning och kvalitet. Resultatet av överföringfrån tal till skrift i undertexter kan dels bero på normer, men också påundertextarens arbetssituation framförallt med tanke på tid ochhjälpmedel. Oavsett undertextarens ambition, Intention ocharbetssituation bör det ligga i dennes natur att vilja använda deingreppsstrategier som kräver minst justeringar av talet i replikerna.Trots detta finner jag ett relativt lågt antal av ingreppskategorinstrykning i förhållande till vad jag hade förväntat mig.

Det undersöktes 138 faktorersom rangordnades efter effekten som de hade på elevers prestationer (Bilaga 1). Illeris (2007)anser att vårt kulturella och samhälleliga arv påverkar sättet som vi organiserarundervisningen på, vilket försvårar direkt applicering av Hatties (2009) resultat på svenskaskolor.

This paper intends to examine how parents think and reflect on gender issues when they borrow books for their children at the library. The theory applied is Yvonne Hirdman?s theory of a gender system. A questionnaire was made available at the Children's department of Uppsala City Library in February, 2010. The material was compiled and analyzed with the Intention to try to detect trends, patterns and themes, rather than statistics and hard data.Parents in the study perceive themselves as gender-conscious.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka två skolors kvalitetsutveckling inom matematik i årskurs fem. Studien avser även att lyfta fram skolpersonalens förändringsprocess i deras arbete med matematiken på två skolor där resultaten på nationella provet i årskurs fem har haft en positiv utveckling. Genom kvalitativa intervjuer med fem respondenter var vår Intention att finna svar på följande frågeställningar; På vilka sätt har skolpersonal på två skolor förändrat matematikundervisningen så att elever lyckas med bättre resultat på de nationella proven i matematik, årskurs fem? Vilka var orsakerna till att lärarna ville förändra? Hur beskriver lärarna förändringsprocessen hos sig själva? Gemensamt för samtliga respondenter var att tiden, det statliga, ekonomiska stödet samt engagemanget bland lärarna sågs som de avgörande faktorerna för det goda kvalitetsarbetet som gjorts på skolorna. Vidare var samtliga respondenter överens om att den statliga satsningen Läsa-skriva-räkna samt Matematiksatsningen påverkat dem på ett positivt sätt som bidragit till att lärarna talar mer matematik i sitt klassrum. Satsningarna har även resulterat i att skolorna fått tillgång till tekniska hjälpmedel, samt fått möjlighet att genomföra Lesson study i sin undervisning.
