This report deals with the design of a controller for SmartMedia? flash memory cards, based on a hardware description found in the SmartMedia? Interface Library - SMIL. The design was made on logic gate level, using standard cells in OrCAD Capture. After simulation of the design in PSpice A/D, it was exported as an EDIF netlist, which was used to make a chip layout in L-Edit, a layout tool for making integrated circuits. The layout was made using a method called Standard Place and Route - SPR, where the layout tool places standard cells from a library and connects them according to the EDIF netlist.

Sammanfattning  Det finns mĂ„nga definitioner av vad yrket controller innebĂ€r, vilket visar att yrkestiteln Ă€r svĂ„rdefinierad. Syftet med studien Ă€r att beskriva controllerns arbetsroll i medelstora tillverkande privata företag och om controllerns roll fokuserar mer mot styrorienterade uppgifter eller mer mot traditionella ekonomiuppgifter. Vi utformade dĂ€rför följande frĂ„gestĂ€llning: Är dagens controller i tillverkande företag mer styrorienterad eller mer en traditionell ekonomichef? Vi valde att genomföra en kvalitativ studie eftersom det möjliggör en djupare förstĂ„else och sedan anvĂ€nde vi oss av en deduktiv ansats dĂ€r vi gick frĂ„n teori till empiri. I vĂ„r teoretiska referensram har vi beskrivit olika egenskaper, fĂ€rdigheter, roller och arbetssĂ€tt som ingĂ„r i controllerns yrke.

Ett icke-slupmÀssigt urval anvÀndes för valet av respondenter.Slutsats: Sweco visar pÄ en bra integration mellan marknaden och det företaget erbjuder. Lönsamheten tyder pÄ hög integration med omvÀrlden och internt i bolaget.

According to our apprehension, work of integration is commonly considered managed in the main best through the labour market. Since this path is not available to everybody we wanted to find out how work of integration also can be practised in other areas. The purpose of this paper is to, with focus on children and youth, find out and analyze in what way the people working locally in residential areas and in associations, reflects around integration in general and within their own business, plus in what way they pursue local work of integration practically. The method we have used is qualitative, with unstructured, individual interviews. Our seven respondents within local authority, church and sport clubs, have told us about their work from a perspective of integration.

This thesis presents the theory behind prototyping and user interviews as parts of requirements analysis. It further discusses how these were used in the development of a budget planning application. The implemented Web-based solution uses a new component-based design rooted in a Model-View-Controller architecture. This paper examines, through questionnaire, how young students in upper secondary school in Malmo experience social integration. It also contain what they think should be done in order to improve the integration between youth that are ethnic Swedish and youth that have a foreign background. To understand the subject we started with a review over Swedish integration politic and its influence over Malmo and social integration in the country. We have used such theoretical starting points as identity and ethnicity in relations to the social surroundings, social affinity theory and flexible mindedness, making of groups among youth and factors to promote social integration. Our conclusion is that the experience of social integration between the two groups depends on how you experience yourself.

This master thesis is a result of the work carried out for Research Electronics at SiljansnÀs. The company develops customized electronical systems. Because of the rapidly increasing interest in colour displays there has been a desire within the company to represent information from sensors and electrical systems in a more advanced way.Due to the mentioned reason above we were given the assignment to solve how a colour display using the STN technique works. The technique is used by small displays, the size of QVGA. Our ambition of this diploma work is to develop a fully functionally test prototype to evaluate the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) and the LCD controller.

För att kunna behÄlla sin konkurrenskraft har ekonomistyrningen samt controllerrollen hamnat mer i fokus. Controllerns arbetsuppgifter har gÄtt frÄn att enbart vara inriktad mot bokföring till att ha en mer verksam roll i ledningsgruppen. NÀr det anses otydligt vad en controller egentligen ska arbeta med blir det svÄrare för företagen att sjÀlva förstÄr motivet till varför de tillsÀtter en controller. Social exclusion is a problem in today?s society that we feel public libraries can help resolve since they are based on the idea of equality and openness. The purpose of this essay is to examine how public librarians think and reason about the concept ?integration? as well as what role public libraries can play in immigrants? integration process. With Jose Alberto Diaz? theory on the integration process, and Marianne Andersson and Dorte Skot-Hansen?s model for analysis of the local library profile as theoretical framework, we analyzed the responses from two qualitative interviews in small groups of 2-3 librarians from two different public libraries.

The aim is to examine how integration and immigrants are constructed within the discourse. The method and theory being used in this essay is discourse theory. As a methodological instrument we use the policy on functional impairment as a comparison. In this master thesis a robot arm belonging to an automatic milking machine from DeLaval is investigated. The robot arm is controlled by a pneumatic cylinder and a valve. The goal of the master thesis is to investigate instability problems and to find out if it is possible to solve them by using gain scheduling. Gain scheduling is a type of controller where the parameters of the controller are changed during operation, for example depending on the working point. First a nonlinear mathematical model of the system was made.

The aim of this essay was to acquire an enhanced knowledge about young immigrants? point of view of integration. During a former practical training semester I became interested in what the young immigrants thought about their own integration, what their conception was about this issue. I found that it had different meaning to different persons, to some it meant assimilation, to others it meant being able to interact with the opposite gender. To examine this I used interviews and interviewed an amount of young immigrants in different stages of their studies in Swedish.

The study involves six Bosnian refugees experience of integration into Swedish society.The purpose of this study is, through the use of a qualitative method, to get an understanding of what the integration process in the Swedish society has been like for six Bosnian refugees.. These refugees fled from the war in former Yugoslavia and came to Sweden between the years 1992-1995. The country who was once called Yugoslavia is currently divided into six republics comprising, Bosnia-Hercegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia, with its provinces, Vojvodina and Kosovo. The main focus of the study has been in the respondent?s thoughts and experiences of integration into Swedish society.
