Syfte: Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur kommunikatörer upplever att internkommunikationen på aktivitetsbaserade arbetsplatser fungerar. Fokus för den här studien var att belysa kommunikatörens roll och syn på kommunikation på aktivitetsbaserade arbetsplatser.Teori: Studien utgår från en meningsskapande syn på kommunikation och ett tolkande perspektiv på organisationer när det gäller den muntliga kommunikationen. När det gäller digital kommunikation har utgångspunkten varit Bayms teorier om synkron och asynkron kommunikation. Vid tolkning av möbler och inredning som kommunikation har utgångspunkten i huvudsak varit teori om instrumentell, estetisk och symbolisk design.Metod: Studien bygger på åtta kvalitativa telefonintervjuer. Respondenterna var kommunikatörer på sju aktivitetsbaserade arbetsplatser och en på cellkontor.

The aim of this master?s study is to examine the function of the public library in the local community at present. I have searched for the answers to the following questions: Which position has the public library in the local cultural policy? What characterizes each library and which are the priorities? What is the local profile of the public library? What cooperation partners does the public library have and what do they mean to the library? Does the public library intensify the local community in any way? To answer this, I have made three qualitative case studies. Interviews and collection of documents were carried out in three different communities.

This paper aims to analyze how preservation of and access to old and rare book collections are organized in public libraries in Serbia. The paper is based on an analysis of documents, a survey and qualitative interviews with librarians in Belgrade and Novi Sad. Serbia is a country that has experienced violent historical periods with far-reaching consequences for its old and rare book collections. The interpretative background refers to documents about cultural policy in Europe and in Serbia. Serbia is a country in transition which aims to join the European Union.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to examine the view of market-led culture, focusing on literature, within Swedish governmental cultural policy. The main issue is to discover changes in attitude towards cooperation between culture and business by comparing the attitudes and ideas expressed in the governmental policy documents from the 1970s with the governmental policy documents from the 1990s. To illuminate, and with an effort to explain, these attitudes and ideas expressed in the documents their political and social context has been studied as well. The theoretical starting point is two political ideologies, and Danish cultural policy researcher Dorte Skot-Hansens theories of cultural policy in the Nordic countries. The methodological starting point is two variants of analyses that are textual ones.

The aim of this master?s thesis is to study the discourses on culture as developed by EU Commission. The method applied is a discoursebased historical analysis, where analysis of arguments and metaphors are functional to the enlightening of the construction of discourses within EU cultural policy. EU official documents constitute the empirical material studied. The theoretical framework of the thesis draws upon cultural public sphere theory as well instrumentalist cultural policy research.

This is a two year master's thesis in the field of museum and cultural heritage studies. The purpose of the thesis is to examine different opinions among museum employees about the role of museums. The thesis also aims to find out to what extent and in what way these opinions are influenced by the museum's own policy documents, the national cultural policy and the academic field of museum studies. I have conducted qualitative research interviews with six employees from three different cultural history museums. The theoretical framework of the thesis is based on Laruajane Smith's term authorized heritage discourse.

The increased popularity of e-books in the Swedish publiclibraries started a debate in newspapers and library journalsbecause of the increase in costs, which this popularity hadled to. The main subject of the debate was the businessmodel provided by the e-book vendor Elib, which accordingto some ruins the libraries financially. In this thesis, opinionarticles have been analyzed using a theoretical model ofcultural politics by the Danish Library and Informationscience researcher Dorthe Skot-Hansen. The results of thestudy showed that people from the library field, publishersand authors were the ones contributing to the debate. Theanalysis of the articles showed that the model of culturalpolitics which consists of four general motives: socialchange, education, economic growth and entertainment wasvisible in the articles.

För att kunna utvecklas i framtiden tror jag att världarna måste närma sig varandra och utveckla en gemensam begreppsapparat.

In today?s society, people do not solely purchase a product for its promised use. Instead, a brand is purchased and along with that brand comes a variety of associations. The associations of a product?s brand are what contributes to the added value that, according to this study, is what distinguishes a brand?s power.

Uppsatsens syfte är att göra en komparativ studie av hur den ryska friheten för media har förändrats under tre olika politiska perioder mellan åren 1985 och 2008 tillsammans med de olika presidenter som personifierade dessa perioder. Arbetet utgår ifrån ramarna av yttrande- och pressfrihet mot bakgrunden av FN:s och EU:s konventioner om mänskliga rättigheter och Dahls demokratikriterier. Fri media spelar en avgörande roll för demokratin. Politiker står genom media till svars för sina handlingar och medborgarna får viktig information och för detta krävs det yttrande- och pressfrihet. Utan rätten till dessa försvinner snabbt den vanliga medborgarens förmåga att delta i, och positivt påverka politiken.

I den här uppsatsen behandlas språkriktighet i elevtexter som har tilldelats betygen E och F. Syftet med undersökningen är att belysa eventuella samband mellan förekomsten av språkriktighetsfel och betyget som elevtexterna har fått. Materialet för undersökningen är tio elevtexter som har tilldelats betyget E, samt tio elevtexter som har tilldelats betyget F. Samtliga texter kommer från den skriftliga så kallade c-delen av det nationella provet i gymnasiets Svenska 1. Undersökningen inleds med en kvantitativ variabelanalys där stavfel, felaktiga val av ordformer och interpunktionsfel räknas.

This Master´s thesis aims to aquire knowledge about volunteers attitude toward work. It emphasis is on the differences between volunteers and non volunteers. There are four research questions used in order to fulfill the aim in a scientific manner. The essay aims to get in depth knowledge regarding whether or not the respondents feel that they have gained advantages in work life due to the fact that they are involved in volunteer work. One of the pivotal questions is if there is a possibility to see a pattern that binds together the reasons for volunteer work and the attitude toward work.

Vid behandling av röststörningar är det essentiellt att kartlägga ogynnsamma röstbeteenden. Ljudstudioinspelningar har visat sig otillräckliga vid sådana kartläggningar. Ett verktyg med potential att möjliggöra en mer representativ bild av röstanvändandet är röstackumulatorn VoxLog.SyfteSyftet var att utifrån röstparametrarna SPL och F0 jämföra registreringar av talfonetogram och VoxLog i ljudstudiomiljö.

The aim of this paper is to research and discuss the role the cultural politics play for the Swedish employment office (Arbetsförmedlingen) and the meaning culture politics have within the labour market policy. A research has shown that Arbetsförmedlingen evaluates unemployed cultural workers differently than regular registered jobseekers. From an instrumental perspective on political implementation this can be considered as an anomali. Arbetsförmedlingen?s mandate derives from the government and its authority is a tool for carrying out state policy.
