Bakgrund Nasometer är ett datorbaserat instrument som procentuellt mäter andel ljudenergi som vid tal kommer ut via näsan. Nasometern är det främst använda instrumentet vid instrumentell nasalitetsbedömning. I användningen av Nasometer behövs normalvärden från personer med typisk resonansutveckling. Normalvärden för svenska språket finns för flera åldersgrupper, men inte för tonåringar.Syfte Ta fram normalvärden för Nasometer hos svensktalande 13- respektive 18-åringar, studera värdenas spridning samt analysera könsskillnader inom respektive åldersgrupp.Metod  Deltagarna bestod av två grupper; 39 deltagare i åldern 12 - 13 år och 48 deltagare i åldern 18-19 år. Alla deltagarna hade svenska som modersmål samt typisk tal- och språkutveckling.

The aim of this master?s thesis is to investigate a possible connection between the development of mobile library services in Sweden and the development of cultural policy during 1945-2006. Our main question is: is there a connection between the development of the mobile library services in Sweden, as described in Biblioteksbladet, and the development of cultural policy as portrayed by Anders Frenander and Dorte Skot-Hansen? In order to answer this question, we formulated two secondary questions: - How are the mobile library services described in Biblioteksbladet between 1945 and 2006? - Are there any similarities or dissimilarities between the development of the mobile library services and the development cultural policy as described in our theoretical models? If so, in what way? Our study covers the entire time period since the start of the mobile library services in Sweden in the late 1940s. The final year for our investigation is 2006.

I fo?religgande studie presenteras fo?rklaringsmodeller till SAD med fokus pa? temperamentsforskning och reinforcement sensitivity theory (RST). Syftet var att genom explorativ faktoranalys identifiera latenta variabler i fra?geformula?ret ?Hur man var som barn? (HMVSB), som administrerats i en klinisk population (n= 100) och i en kontrollgrupp (n= 246).

Kraftiga minskningar av offentliga stöd till kulturfälten har idag resulterat i att intresset för det ekonomiska perspektivet inom kultur ökat, och förändrat synen på ekonomins roll inom kultur. Allt fler kulturverksamheter har börjat tillämpa metoder från det privata näringslivet. En av dessa kulturverksamheter är Riksteatern, som under åren 2006-2008 genomförde en helomfattande omorganisation där ordet kvalitet stod i fokus. För att kunna genomdriva en organisatorisk kvalitetsförbättring tog Riksteatern hjälp av ett koncept som främst använts inom näringslivet. Detta koncept går under namnet totalkvalitetsstyrning översatt från engelskans Total Quality Management (TQM) och handlar bland annat om att skapa en helhets syn på verksamheten i syfte att minska kostnader, osäkerheter och samtidigt förbättra kvaliteten.Vårt syfte med uppsatsen är att beskriva och förklara konsekvenserna av att använda TQM i Riksteaterns omorganisation som påbörjades 2007.

The aim of this master?s thesis is to examine which ideas about the public library that appear in a selection of municipal library plans and to examine if these ideas are unanimous. The comprehensive questions are: Which ideas about the public library appear in each municipal library plan? How do the ideas agree in the different municipal library plans? The sub questions are: Which judgements of reality appear in the different library plans concerning each municipality and its library needs? How do the municipalities define the concept of development and future demands in the municipality on the basis of the judgements of reality? Which recommendations do the judgements of reality give and how is the plan of action that is established in each library plan justified? Which fundamental views of reality, i. e.

Archives Day is celebrated in Sweden on the second Saturday of November every year since 1998. The aim of this study is to examine how and why Archives Day is celebrated at five archives in the Stockholm region.My empirical material consists mainly of semi-structured interviews with archivists at five archival institutions in the Stockholm region. I have chosen to only interview archivists and not any visitors due to the time con-straints and the scope of the thesis. I have also examined how the goals stated in a government report are carried out in the work with Archives Day.The theoretical framework of the investigation is gathered from educational theory as well as archival theo-ry. For the educational approach I have used John Dewey?s theory of what makes an experience educational to examine whether Archives Day is an educational experience or not.

For the past decades, culture has been given a role as a factor for local and regional development. But what is meant by development and in what ways culture can be of importance in this aspect can be unclear. This thesis examines the perception of the role for local and regional development of one specific cultural place and network ? the cultural cooperative Not Quite in Fengersfors, Sweden. I study the way the role as developer is expressed and interpreted in the discourse of the cultural workers who are members of the network and in the discourse of public cultural policy in the region Västra Götaland and in Åmål municipality.

Sedan 1942 har Parkteatern haft gratis föreställningar under sommarmånaderna i Stockholm. Från att vara en verksamhet under olika tekniska nämnder inom Stockholms kommun är den idag en av sju enheter inom Kulturhuset Stadsteatern. På det kulturpolitiska området har det alltid funnits en motsättning mellan det ekonomiska och det kulturella. Men sedan New Public Management (NPM) idéer tagit sig in i den offentliga sektorn har det lett till att offentligt finansierad kulturell verksamhet effektiviserats.Syftet med uppsatsen är att belysa hur Parkteatern som en del inom Kulturhuset Stadsteatern påverkas av politiska krav som ställs i form av ägardirektiv. Undersökningen baseras främst på intervjuer med anställda på Parkteatern och styrelsemedlemmar samt skriftliga dokument.

I arbetet med uppsatsen har en medicinsk text översatts och den teoretiska bas somanvänts är Nords modell för källtextanalys. Den typ av översättning som eftersträvatsär en instrumentell typ, vilket innebär att mottagaren ska läsa måltexten som ettoriginal och inte som en översatt text. Utifrån det valet analyseras de extratextuellafaktorerna: textfunktion, mottagare, tid och plats, medium samt motiv. Analysenvisar att källtexten och den kommande måltexten skiljer sig åt vad det gäller tid ochplats medan de övriga faktorerna kan anses vara likvärdiga. Därefter analyseras deintratextuella faktorerna: ämne, presuppositioner, komposition, icke-verbala elementsamt lexikon.

The aim of this master´s thesis is to explore how Stockholms new library´s identity is constructed, and further to relate the case study to a general discussion of the identity of public libraries in Sweden. This is done through analysis of the visions and plans that the planned library is based on. We feel that it is a relevant study since questions concerning the public library's identity are for library and information science as well as the institution. Questions posed in the study are: How is the roles and identity of the planned library described in the texts that form the basis of the project? What characterises the relationship between the present and the planned library? What discourses concerning the public library's identity can we see in the material?The theoretical framework of the thesis is a discourse oriented analysis based on the critical discourse analysis of Norman Fairclough.

This bachelor thesis is about civilian marching bands in the province Värmland industrial communities, with a focus on Degerfors, Edsvalla, Gruvön, Nors, Slottsbron, and Vålberg bands. Degerfors, Gruvön, and Slottsbron bands are three corps that still operates concerts and performances. The other three unions are defunct.In Värmland, there were many mills that were operating well into the 1900s, roughly speaking there were about 25 mills in various industrial areas. These mills had operations in glass, iron, and paper, each user had a band at least a brass sextet and today there are only eight bands left in Värmland. Bofors in Karlskoga, Charlottenberg, Degerfors, Dejefors, Gruvöns in Grums, Hagfors, Skoghall, and Slottsbron bands.What is the reason that so many bands have disappeared? To answer the question I have investigated the importance of four factors have had for the unions: finance, recruitment collaboration with the music and arts, as well as cooperation with educational associations.The results show a marked reduction in civil bands, from about 25 corps to eight corps today.

This essay is a product of the author?s interest in silent films from Soviet, especially, documentary films. Before the 1920?s documentary filmmaking had mostly been limited to newsreels and short scenes. Only occasional feature-length documentaries had been made.

The aim of this two year master thesis is to analyze how digital preservation is presented as a problem in the Swedish national strategy for the digitization and digital preservation of the Swedish cultural heritage. In order to study which assumptions about digital preservation exists within the strategy I apply the discourse oriented methodological tools presented by Carol Lee Bacchi, which focuses on discerning what problem or, rather, representation of a problem exists within a specific policy. This study is a post-structuralist discourse analysis. The main focus of the study is on what assumptions and prerequisites the dominating representation of the problem is based upon and how the representation has evolved. The main material of the study consists of public investigations conducted by the Swedish state, governmental propositions and replies as well as other public documents upon which Bacci's methodological tools are applied.Results show that digital preservation is primarily interpreted as a financial problem as the national strategy and its surrounding documents stress the need of cost-efficient solutions.

The purpose of this paper is to view Karlstad Municipality and their financial support to non-profit organizations within equestrian sports. Despite the varying representatives of various equestrian sports in Karlstad, there seems to be a single beneficiary within the sport when it comes to financial support from the municipality. The policies and plans concerning cultural development are directly compared to the Karlstad Municipality and its contribution to these organizations within equestrian sports. Through interviews and reports I have studied the process of financial support from the Karlstad municipality using an intersectionality theory based on Nina Lykkes guide on gender studies and feminist theory. Pierre Bourdieu?s theories on field, habitus and capital are also used as a method to enhance the understanding of equestrian sports and its role in modern Swedish society. The conclusion is that the Karlstad Municipality is, for a several of reasons, promoting non-profit organizations within equestrian sports, which are operating as riding schools.
