In visual programming the developer specifies her code, using visual tools. Within the range of visual programming languages lay icon-based languages, form-based languages, and diagram languages.Mediator is a multimedia authoring tool that allows the user to create interactive CD-ROM presentations, dynamic HTML pages and Flash projects, without any coding or scripting. The user can create interactivity in her project, using event driven and icon-based visual programming, through a ?drag and drop? user interface. This report intends to determine some of the qualifications of a tool of this kind, as well as its limitations.The report is based on a case study, in which a smaller software application was to be updated using Mediator 9.

Bakgrund och Problemdiskussion: IAS 39 har varit en omdebatterad standard, främströrande värderingsfrågan, verkligt värde kontra anskaffningsvärde, för de finansiellainstrumenten. I samband med finanskrisen 2008 så kom denna fråga att aktualiseras. Dettaeftersom värdering till verkligt värde fick negativa konsekvenser på de finansiella rapporterna.Med anledning av detta vädjade ledare inom EU till IASB att förändra IAS 39, till atttillåta omklassificeringar. IASB tog detta i beaktande och den 13 oktober 2008, efter enoerhört snabb process, antogs ett tillägg som tillät omklassificering. Detta för att ökastabiliteten i det finansiella systemet.

Trots vetskap om att den kliniska bilden vid autismspektrumtillstånd (AST) förändras med åldern råder det brist på diagnostiska instrument som är specifikt designade för vuxna. Ritvo Autism and Asperger Diagnostic Scale (RAADS) är en självskattningsskala utvecklad för detta syfte. Den svenska versionen av RAADS utvärderades i föreliggande studie med avseende på intern konsistens, diagnostisk validitet och samtidig validitet. Undersökningsgruppen bestod av 75 individer med högfungerande AST samt 200 kontroller utan AST. Därtill utfördes en preliminär analys av resultatens stabilitet över tid.

My assignment has been to, in collaboration with them, expand their range with a pair of children's glasses, while maintaining the innovative character they are so known for.The problem with childrens eyewear today is that most of the time the glasses tries to mimic the adult eyewear and the ?childish? type of designing is spared. From an ergonomic point of view, a child's nose is smaller than an adults and therefore needs a different type of shape and nosebridge. In addition, children have softer ears, which means that they need a different type of shaftend as well.

Dagens hälsoproblem bland barn och ungdomar är i allt större utsträckning av socialmedicinsk karaktär och kräver därför ett förebyggande och mer miljö- och beteendeinriktat arbetssätt. Skolhälsovården har en nyckelposition i det förebyggande arbetet för att främja hälsa, och dess roll inom skolan har därigenom förstärkts. Skolans psykosociala miljö och sätt att bemöta elever och föräldrar är viktiga instrument i hälsoarbetet. Syftet med studien var att belysa skolsköterskans funktion för att främja hälsa inom skolhälsovården. Denna kunskap kan skolsköterskan använda sig av som underlag i sitt arbete inom skolhälsovården.

In this thesis an explorative study was undertaken with the aim to study how a number of private care providers, as well as politicians and officials from councils in and around the Stockholm and Uppsala counties, think about the future of the Swedish elderly care from a property perspective, i.e. homes for the elderly. The analysis shows that there is a demand for capacity in 6 out of 16 municipalities, and that the property is an important part of this capacity, and the fulfillment of it. This was mainly due to the cost of capital, but also because of several other factors such as lack of land, a wish to guide the design, ideology, and in many cases a wish to use the property as an instrument of domination to control private health care providers.Also, the property was show to be connected to economic competition, to freedom of choice, and to quality. The problems related to the property in the market for elderly care still remains to be solved.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the construction of consensus in commune-collaborations. By a review of written material combined with elite interviews we have been able to follow the decision-making and the forming of consensus, in a commune-collaboration called NOSAM, in which they have decided to use consensus as a decision method. The thesis is based on a case study and we have decided to follow a specific issue that has been discussed for some time.We have created an instrument based on the ideal of deliberative democracy, through which we have been able to examine whether the decision-making in NOSAM can be described as a deliberative process or if consensus is formed by other incentives.The study shows that the decision-making in NOSAM cannot be described as a deliberative process, although there are some elements of deliberation. Consensus is formed in a proposition drawn up by the officials for the commune-representatives to agree on. Afterwards, the decision has to be brought up in each commune before reaching a final decision in NOSAM.Our opinion is that having consensus as the decision method leads to difficulties when deciding on bigger issues..

Syftet med vårt examensarbete var att genom pedagogiska aktiviteter stärka identiteten hos ungdomar med minoritetstillhörighet samt öka förståelsen för det mångkulturella. Vi genomförde utvecklingsarbetet i två minoritetsgrupper, en samisk och en tornedalsk, under sju praktikveckor. Ungdomarna var i åldern fjorton till femton år. Vi använde loggboken som instrument, där eleverna skrev sina reflektioner efter lektionstillfällena. Resultatet visade att samiska ungdomarna har en stark kulturell identitetskänsla medan ungdomarna i Tornedalen inte såg någon skillnad mellan att vara svensk eller tornedaling.

Typically, when Faurecia in Torsås are planning a new assembly line, one of the steps is to build a full-scale model of the line in card board, a form of mock-up planning. Faurecia has shown interest in finding an alternative methodology. The purpose was to explore the possibility of replacing today's cardboard based mock-up planning with models in a digital simulation environment.The purpose of the thesis has been to answer some of these complex questions; What are the benefits of using a simulation tool? In what way can we use it? If we choose to use a simulation tool, in what way does it affect our way of planning an assembly line? What are the advantages and disadvantages? Are there any economical and social aspects?Our results made us realize that a digital simulation tool does not replace the card board. On the other hand simulation could be used as a complement.

The rapid change within digital medias has increased the possibilities to make information accessible through network. Therefore the European Union EU considers a harmonization within the Union, in order to strengthen the rights of the originator. The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate how the EUs directive 2001/29/EG regarding copyright is to be implemented into Swedish legislation and assess the common opinion in the public libraries on this matter. The basic methodology of this thesis is a democratic perspective, concerning the public libraries democratic role and the right of the citizens to have access to information. The thesis first part is a study of documents.

Mezzanine is a collective term for hybrid instruments on the leverage finance market, offered as an alternative to traditional debt. As a hybrid, mezzanine combines elements of debt and equity financing. Mezzanine appears, in its most common shape, as subordinated to the senior debt, but ranks higher than pure equity. Reminiscent of security interests, the main importance of subordination is upon the default of the borrower. Therefore, the aim of the thesis is partly to investigate the legal prerequisites for a solid subordination of mezzanine financing, and partly to explain the consequences of subordination in a default.

The purpose of the study is to explore the internal implementation and communication of ecological sustainability within an organization and to identify obstacles and challenges that may arise. To address the study's purpose and research questions, a qualitative methodology and semi-structured interviews were used. Respondents were selected from two different units within a large global organization operating in the automotive industry. The study's findings indicate that the organization's sustainability efforts are extensive and integrated across several departments. It is also evident that sustainability initiatives are primarily driven by upper management within the organization, although there is room for lower hierarchical levels to provide some feedback.

With this master thesis we wanted to find out in which way the concept of public service is connected to different perspectives, ideals, visions of the future and forms of organizations. The purpose with our thesis was to do an analysis of different concepts regarding to public service. To the analysis of concepts we used Swedish newspapers and analysed the issue of public service that had been discussed in articles written during the last five years. From this material and other papers about public service we developed a model of public service ideals. We wanted to find out what the different perspectives thought about the Swedish television and their commission.

Studien ämnar ge en beskrivande bild av hur hedgefonder använder futures och CFDs och till vilket syfte. Författarna avser även att genomföra en jämförelse mellan instrumenten för att ge en ökad förståelse för hur CFDs kan användas som instrument och vilka strategier som är mest lämpade beroende på mål och riskpreferenser.Studien är byggd på det deduktiva synsättet. För insamling av det empiriska materialet har en kvalitativ metod används varvid fyra telefonintervjuer genomfördes. Teorin har hämtats från flertalet källor där både artiklar, böcker och Internet har använts.De strategier som användes av hedgefonderna i studien var Förvaltade terminer, Global makro samt Marknadsneutral. Ingen av hedgefonderna använde sig av CFDs, detta berodde enligt hedgefonderna på lågt utbud av underliggande varor samt bristande likviditet.

Studiens syfte är att belysa några yrkesverksamma elbasisters syn på egen utveckling och dess samband med övning. Som metod har halvstrukturerade intervjuer använts. Informanterna utgörs av tre yrkesverksamma elbasister som berättar om sin syn på övning och utveckling samt vad de anser vara viktigt för att utvecklas som elbasist. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten för denna studie är ett hermeneutiskt perspektiv då målet är att göra en djupare analys och tolkning av de intervjuades livsvärld. Resultatet visar att informanterna tycker att viktiga byggstenar i utvecklingen är att spela tillsammans med andra och lyssna på musik.
