Earlier studies and research on the subject of perception and social media during the working process resulted in a change of the problem. At first the focus of the study was to examine how social media affects the perception of a brand although later on the problem had to be developed to instead examine if social media reflects the perception of a brand. The purpose of this study is to figure out if social media reflects consumer?s perception of a brand. This will contribute to company?s knowledge on how important social media is in their branding and will give pointers on how many resources that is necessary to spend on branding in social media.

Unemployment and long term unemployment is a reality for a large number of people in Sweden. This may be the result of structural changes in the labor market, but involves a wide range of issues. Along with other actors, the social services are obliged to support the long term unemployed to find a job. The aim of this study was to describe and analyze the work done by social workers towards the long term unemployed, 25-49 years old, in two municipalities. We performed altogether six qualitative interviews.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att ta reda på vad arbetsmarknadspolitiska åtgärder har för betydelse för arbetslösa ungdomar, både psykiskt och socialt. Frågor som vi ville ha svar på var varför ungdomarna går en arbetsmarknadspolitisk åtgärd och vad den betyder för dem. Hur det är att vara arbetslös och om deras situation förändrats sedan de började på åtgärden. Vi ville även se om det är någon skillnad mellan åtgärderna i Halmstad jämfört med Varberg.Vi har använt oss av kvalitativ metod genom att göra intervjuer med sju ungdomar samt personal från arbetsförmedlingen och arbetsmarknadsenheten. Fokusering har legat på den sociologiska visionen enligt Mills, Becks individualisering, Baumans arbetsetik och kontroll på den egna individen, social exkludering och Foucaults disciplineringsprocess.

The purpose with this essay is to take part of the process when a family is placed on the family-institution, Trollbacken. We want to know what makes the social welfare secretaries place a family in institutional care. Has Trollbacken lived up to the social welfare secretary expectations and are the social welfare secretaries following Trollbackens recommendation regarding the follow up treatment. We also want to know to what value the social welfare secretary assigns Trollbackens investigation and are they able to see changes in the family due to the placing on Trollbacken. The method is qualitative and is based on interviews from six social welfare secretaries that work around and in West Sweden.

The purpose with our essay was to increase our knowledge about what social workers, with experience from working with drug addicts, perceive as the explanations to a person stopping the abuse and succeed in staying drug free. Our framing of the question was:- How do social workers define the term drug free?- How big a roll do the social worker believes she/he has in the process in which a person stops abusing drugs?- How do the social worker work with a person towards getting that person drug free?- What do the social worker believe to be the reason why a person stops abusing drugs?- What do the social worker perceive as helpful for a person to stay drug free?We did qualitative interviews with six social workers. Our main conclusion was that it is difficult to define the term drug free. The reason for stropping the drug abuse can vary, it can be the family situation, "hitting rock bottom", finding love or tiring.

This paper examines how recruiters use social media during their recruitment process. The paper focuses on the staffing industry and will further examine how recruiters are handling jobseekers personal privacy when they are using social media in a recruitment process. The paper are trying to understand the meaning of what personal integrity means and how or if recruiters show consideration to this in a recruitment process when they are using social media as a recruitment tool. Our result demonstrates that, today recruiters use social media daily to conduct background checks on job applicants. There are no clear instructions and rules on how recruiters should handle background checks through social media. Recruiters believe that job seekers are responsible for the information contained on the their social media.

Studiens syfte har varit att via fokusgrupper undersöka rektorers sociala representationer av lärarskicklighet samt hur de samtalar om bedömning och premiering av de lärare som de upplever är skickliga. Det resultat som framkommit är att rektorer har en gemensam bild av vad lärarskicklighet är utifrån formell och informell kompetens, men att tonvikten läggs på olika kompetenser i rektorsgrupperna. Det finns en sammastämmighet i att skickliga lärare har en medfödd talang, en tyst kunskap. Hur de ser på vad lärarskicklighet är, får konsekvenser för hur de bedömer och premierar de lärare som de upplever som skickliga.  I första hand är det inte vardagsarbetet i klassrummet som premieras, utan övergripande utvecklingsarbete av verksamheten som helhet..

This essay deals with the same task that utilitarians have tried to solve for a long time, what is happiness? In the eighteenth-century utilitarians suggested that happiness should be the base for social political decisions. But the lack of definition disposed so that GDP became the measurement of happiness, which proved to be wrong when the unhappiness continued to increase. More than two hundred years later scientists came up with a new definition of happiness and new ways to measure it. And during the last decade economists have taken the discussion to a higher level.So once again we?re dealing with the same old issue, if happiness ought to be the base of social political decisions.

The purpose with our essay was to examine which clients/patients get treatment for alcohol problems from either health care units or social service units. We also wanted to find out how staff in these units considers the importance of social background in the assessment of treatment. The questions we have focused are: How do the clients/patients get in contact with the units? How does staff in these units consider the importance of social background in the assessment of treatment? How is the social background like for the present clients/patients? To fulfil the purpose with our investigation and to get answers to our questions, we performed an explorative examination and applied a qualitative method in the form of a semi-structured interview with six persons. The investigation showed that clients/patients get in contact with the units by looking for treatment by themselves or by relatives and other organisations.

People recieving social assistance is today very common in Swedish society. Of those receiving social assistance single mothers is one ofthe largest groups. The purpose of this study is to examine how single mothers with social assistance experience themselves to be treated by social services, how this treatment affects their confidence in the social services and how they experience it is to live with social assistance. To answer the question, we use qualitative interviews with three clients. Previous research has shown that single mothers receiving social assistance experience vulnerability, and how they perceive it is affected by how they are treated by their social secretaries.

The main purpose of this study was to examine, and illustrate, highschool social workers experiences of pupils with self-injurious behaviour. Self-injurious behaviour in this study refer to individuals who harm them-selves, with physical injury as consequence, without purpose to commit suicide. A qualitativ method was used and five highschool social workers, in the south of Sweden, were interviewed.The main questions were:- What kind of experiences have highschool welfare officers of pupils with self-injurious behaviour?- What view, and personal opinion have the welfare officers at the problem, and how do this affect them in their work with these pupils.The school social workers experiences of pupils with self- injurious behaviour, were for instance that the pupils often feel ashemed over their behaviour and that they often have lowe self-esteem. The social workers seemed to imagine the behaviour as a copingstrategy.It turned out that the social workers personality and their personal opinion regarding self-injurious behaviour, were of great importance in their work with these pupils..

Denna uppsats syftade till att kartlägga hur chefer själva upplever och arbetar med frågor som rör psykosocial arbetsmiljö. Undersökningen genomfördes mot Gällivare kommun.Datainsamlingsmetoden bestod av nätbaserade enkäter som skickades ut till samtliga chefer för att dels se vilken kunskap cheferna visade kring arbetet med den psykosociala arbetsmiljön. Vilka krav, vilken kontroll och vilket stöd cheferna upplevde i sitt arbete. I vilken utsträckning cheferna rapporterade symptom som kan ha ett samband till psykologiskohälsa samt om det fanns någon upplevd skillnad i krav-kontroll-stöd eller i vilka symptom som kan förklaras från psykosocial ohälsa beroende på kön. Resultatet visade att den generella kunskapsnivån både inom ämnet psykosocial arbetsmiljö och vilka riktlinjer som gäller var något som cheferna hade en god uppfattning om.

The aim of the study was to examine if and how the social service and the social welfare secretary provides against threat and violence in the encounter with clients. The study is qualitative and carried out with six semi-structured interviews with social welfare secretaries and participation observations at the social welfare offices in three municipalities. The theoretical starting points used were symbolic interactionism and strange loops. The result shows that social service and social welfare secretaries both use measures to prevent threat and violence to occur. The precautionary measures mainly used by social services are ; looked doors, alarm device, loose objects removes and interview rooms are furnish in purpose for the social welfare secretary to flee the room at urgent need.

AbstractSyfte:Att med resultat baserade på World Value Surveys undersökningar, studera de postmoderna värderingarnas betydelse för befolkningars aggregerade beteenden och dess eventuella konsekvenser för politiken. Inledningsvis redogörs för problematiken kring postmoderna värderingar från ett politiskt-teoretiskt perspektiv. Därefter genomförs en teoriprövning med hjälp av regressionsanalyser för att se i hur hög grad värderingar samvarierar med utvalda beteendemönster, vilka kan tänkas vara signifikanta för befolkningar med postmoderna värderingar.
