The background to this report is the author?s ambition to understand individuals? work situation, how it?s formed in interaction between the individual and factors in the work-setting. Such an ambition is well in line with the concept of Human-Technology-Organization (HTO), a cross-scientific approach that puts a system-oriented perspective on how human, technolog-ical and organizational factors interact within work systems.The aim of this report was to explore managers? work-situation and generate an understanding of it from an HTO-perspective by using an organizational model as a framework for an interview guide and to analyze the work situation from an HTO-perspective following the ques-tions at issue:1. How does the managers experience their work situation?2.

Bakgrund: Internetrevolutionen håller i det tysta på att växa. De redan etablerade företagen står i öppningen för en ?ny ekonomi?, vilket inbegriper allt från skräddarsydda företagsportaler för den anställde till lösningar för effektivare och bättre kundrelationer. Denna nya ekonomi handlar om att rådande företag integrerar elektronikens fördelar i sin verksamhet, vilket vi valt att kalla e-Transformation. En total omstrukturering helt enkelt.

I ett tidigare examensarbete på skolan för informations- och kommunikationsteknik på KTH utvecklades exjobbspoolen, en webbportal skapad med syftet att göra det möjligt för företag att annonsera ut examenarbeten som studenter på ICT-skolan kan söka. Men för att kunna börja använda exjobbspoolen behövdes vissa efterfrågade funktioner utvecklas och befintliga förbättras. För att en mer enhetlig känsla med resten av KTH:s hemsidor skulle uppnås samt att presentationen av sidans innehåll skulle visas på ett effektivare sätt behövdes även webbportalens layout göras om. Den här rapporten tar upp hur systemet har vidareutvecklats och varför valda metoder har använts. Arbetet har gjorts utifrån projektmetoden Feature-Driven Development och är konstruerat i HTML5, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery och har en databas av typen PostgreSQL.

A majority of the payments that are carried out today are executed through the electronic payment systems. Payments that are executed through these systems are administrated by payment service providers, these providers are, in general, banks. In spite of the socio-economic importance of payments and payment intermediation, there is an uncertainty regarding the legal status of payments and payment intermediation. Some describe payment intermediation as transport of means of payments, while some describe it in terms of claims and intermediation of information. There is, in other words, a need for clarification.

Syftet med denna konsumtionsuppsats är att studera vad som händer med lärarrollen i klassrummet när IKTanvänds i matematikundervisningen. Det görs genom att undersöka vilka argument som finns för att använda IKT,samt vilka möjligheter och utmaningar som finns för lärarrollen när IKT används i matematikundervisningen. Dettahar undersökts genom en kvalitativ litteraturstudie där analysprocessen har bestått av att tolka forskares uttalanden ilitteraturen om IKT i skolan generellt och mer specifikt i matematikundervisningen.De slutsatser, som kan dras av studien, är att IKT ska ses som ett verktyg för läraren att skapa variation iundervisningen, motivera samt skapa verklighetsanknytning för eleverna. Dock är det av vikt att läraren förstår hurIKT ska användas för att skapa goda lärförhållanden. För att åstadkomma detta måste läraren ha goda kunskaper iämnet som ska läras ut, men även veta på vilket sätt det bör läras ut.

Milk ejection in dairy cows can be inhibited if oxytocin is not released from the pituitary gland. The problem with inhibition of the milk let down is not new, but has recently regained interest. It is observed during different types of emotional stress, for example when cows are moved to an unfamiliar environment, during oestrus, changing from suckling to machine milking or when being milked for the first time. The aim of the study was to examine the extent of cows with disturbed milk ejection in Sweden. A survey was sent out to 1000 dairy farmers in order to collect data about herd size, housing systems and routines at calving and milking.

Det övergripande syftet i denna studie är att belysa elevers erfarenheter av IKT-användningen (Informations- och kommunikationsteknik) i matematikundervisningen. Arbetet består av två delar, en litteraturstudie och en fallstudie. I litteraturstudien presenteras faktorer för datorprogram inom matematikundervisningen samt olika klassificeringar av matematikdidaktisk programvara. Fallstudien genomfördes i åk 1 på gymnasiets naturvetenskapliga program. Syftet var att undersöka elevers erfarenheter av datorstöd i matematikundervisningen och elevers användning av webb-baserade diagnostisk programvara.

Automatic milking systems (AMS) provide the opportunity for less manual labour and an increased milking frequency. But in order to reach an optimal milking frequency a well-functioning cow traffic is crucial. There are many factors affecting cow traffic but one factor that has not been studied thoroughly yet is the effect of different light intensities during the night, 22.00 h to 05.00 h. Therefore the aim of this study was to determine the effect of different light intensities during the night on number of selection gate passages (GP), milking frequency and milk yield. The study was conducted as a Latin square were three light intensities were applied: LOW (11 ± 3 lux), INT (33 ± 1 lux) and HIGH (74 ± 6 lux), in three different herds.

The reindeer are kept in extensive pasture systems where the conditions are similar to thosefor wild reindeer. Since the reindeer have special demands on their pasture, it is difficult tokeep them in intensive production systems where they cannot graze selectively. Too manyreindeer on a small area will also facilitate spread of diseases. A selection program forreindeer needs special qualifications according to several different reasons. The purpose withthis literature review is to summarize the factors needed for a reindeer selection program andthe problems and possibilities included.Reindeer grazing right has a special meaning to the Sami and are reserved for them accordingto immemorial rights.

The purpose of this Masters thesis is to investigate how actors involved in a municipal's adult education view students access to information- and library resources. The adult education in the municipal is on contract which means that there are several different actors involved in the realization of the adult education. The raised questions in this study deals with; libraries role within adult education, students needs for becoming information literate and where responsibilities for students access to libraries lies. We used a qualitative method which includes interviews with two principles, a controller, three pedagogues and a librarian. The empirical data is analysed against taxonomies and categories which originates from the theories of David Loertscher and Christine Bruce.

This thesis analyses the problem of how to organise a multidisciplinary domain of knowledge like architecture. The study is both theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part include discussions of theories of knowledge organisation. Two different principles of classification were examined in relation to the domain itself, as well as in relation to the educational programme at the School of Architecture at Lund University and comparable schools in Sweden. The empirical part is a case study carried out at the School of Architecture at Lund University.

The purpose of this paper was to discuss stigma and stigmatisation in relation to social policy and social work. By discussing welfare systems in social policy I wanted to see if there could be any connection between social policy and stigma. I used case studies of hearing impaired adults to give examples of how the stigma processes work. By connecting the stigma and the social policy theories with the case studies I wanted to see how the social policy could affect the stigma processes or vice versa.In the paper the concept of stigma has been described and discussed, foremost using the theories of Erving Goffman. I have also discussed the welfare system and the connection between residual systems and stigma.
