Företag använder sig alltmer av ekonomisk information för att motivera sina anställda till ökad prestation på arbetsplatsen. Teorin menar att spridning av ekonomisk information medför delaktighet och på så vis blir motiverade att göra sitt yttersta på arbetsplatsen vilket i sin tur ska medföra att företagens effektivitet ökar. Är tillhandahållande av ekonomisk information en motiverande faktor? Studien visar att tillgång till ekonomisk information gör att de anställda känner sig delaktiga men att det inte alls behöver betyda att motivationen ökar. I vår studie har därmed har inte heller motivation genom ekonomisk information någon betydelse för företagets effektivitet..

Inom ramen för kandidatexamen i Digital Ljudproduktion har jag befunnit mig på praktik på ett produktionsbolag vid namn Donadoni AB. As a part of Göteborg Energi?s work towards a smarter electric grid, the company has chosen to investigate the possibilities of automation in their middle voltage grid. In Europe, there are example cases where these technologies already are installed which many articles on the CIRED conference 2011 proved. Netcontrol Oy in Finland has, together with Tekla, created an automated SCADA system that Vattenfall in Finland today uses. The grid mainly consists of 10 kV open loop fed city grid and this automation is mainly designed for this type of grid.

The mobile revolution is here to stay, and today most people have (at least) one cell phone at home. Competence Portals are software tools that are intended to make it easier for persons that have had no previous contact to find and contact each other. The portals can address areas ranging from finding an expert within an organisation to the marketing of the competence of a region or a research centre to other organisations. The purpose of the thesis is to examine the necessity of Competence Portals in research-intensive organisations. Important characteristics of the information in such portals have been identified and used as a basis for recommendations regarding how Competence Portals could be designed. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the task of finding a source of knowledge within an organisation.

Tasmania is a state in Australia, and is also the country?s largest island. It is separated from the main land by a 429 kilometer wide strait. When in the process of buying a product based high effort behavior, the consumer needs information to decide on which product that best satisfies their need. There is a wide arrange of sources where this could be found. One of the most important, due to the great influence it has on consumer choice, is in-store communications. This is also one of the least developed sources. It is not uncommon that the only facts that can be acquired are found on product packaging and from contact with the store´s staff.

Syftet med den här studien var att undersöka hur pedagoger anser att de arbetar med IKT, information- och kommunikations teknik, i förskolan. Syftet var även att undersöka om pedagogerna på något sätt skulle vilja utveckla arbetet med IKT. I denna studie riktas intresset in på surfplattor. Metoden som använts för att få svar på undersökningens frågeställningar är kvalitativa intervjuer, intervjuerna har genomförts med åtta pedagoger från två förskolor. I resultatet av studien blir det synligt att pedagogerna arbetar på olika sätt och att de har olika visioner om hur de vill utveckla arbetet med dessa surfplattor. Resultatet visar att alla medverkande pedagoger i studien använder surfplattan som ett verktyg för att utveckla barnens språk, det ser däremot olika ut bland pedagogerna hur den används till exempel för dokumentation och spel med mera.

Our society has become increasingly digitized, and all around us information flows constantly. Knowledge about valuing different sources of information, and not least the information itself, are becoming increasingly important. Media and information have come to play a big role in our society, and knowledge of media and information literacy becomes important to learn in school. High school students are at the beginning of their adult lives as educated citizens.In this study, we measured high school students experience of media and information literacy, during their three years in high school. Students answered a questionnaire, with questions based upon theoretical concepts in media and information literacy.
