Pedagogernas synpunkter kring laptopanvändning i undervisning

Information and communication technology (ICT) is an important part of society. Learning occurs in all contexts and many students already use various digital media in their leisure time. This article, based on a case study in a One-to-One school. It describes how teachers perceive that their teaching is influenced when their pupils get a laptop. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the focus on one-to-one influence teachers' work in the classroom. The focus is on laptops and smart boards, from teachers' aspect. Interviews with teachers are the basis for empirical data. The result shows that the teachers saw ICT- learning tools as supportive, and when digital learning resources are used it creates new opportunities, as well as new and problematic situations. The teaching can be organized in new ways and the content of the subject can be presented in other ways. The study confirms what other studies of One-to-One-schools already have found out, for example, that the pupils have been more motivated and it is calmer in the classroom.
