The purpose of this paper is to investigate how a small company manages its information, primarily the organization of digital documents. The two dominating themes are classification and information politics, the former in the context of a corporate environment and the latter to help us to describe the situation at the company. The method used has involved observation of the company's current computer network structure and also interviews with six employees at different levels in various departments at the company. The result of our investigation has been the realization that, although logical structure is important when organizing documents in a digital environment, it is also necessary to have rules regarding its implementation..

Provningsverksamheten hos Försvarets materielverk behöver en bättre anpassad prissättning mot andra kunder än Försvarsmakten. Utgångspunkten för detta examensarbete är att undersöka möjligheterna till en mer marknadsanpassad prissättning. I examensarbetet vinklas emellertid prissättningen både ur marknads- och kostnadsfokus. Teorin och analysen leder fram till en lösning där kundvärdet blir centralt och med internkalkyleringen som ett viktigt stöd i prissättningen. Examensarbete har utförts på Atlas Copco Tools and Assembly system. Syftet var att utveckla ettkonstruktionshjälpmedel för att underlätta valet av elmotor och växellåda vid nyutveckling avautomatiserade skruvdragarsystem. Ofta görs valet av växellåda och elmotor individuellt vilketkan resultera i ett icke optimalt system. Genom att istället göra valen tillsammans kan ett bättreresultat uppnås.Syftet med examensarbetet var att ta fram ett Matlab- script som ger en bild över hur valet avväxellåda och motor påverkar varandra. Scriptet ska föreslå lämpliga dimensioner på motor ochväxellåda med hänsyn till hela systemet och dess uppgift.

Introduction: In today?s contemporary society individuals can use multiple media- channels to find civic information. Civic information should reach all groups of society and according to previous research young people are relatively hard to reach with this type of information.Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate how young, highly educated individuals in Sweden are using media channels to find and take part in civic information, the expectations they have of the information and if they consider that they need to participate in public discourse.Methodology: In this qualitative study we had a hermeneutic perspective with an abductive approach. We have collected our empirical material by doing interviews with 15 respondents. The respondents are students and were chosen based on both their knowledge and their interest in media and communication since we were looking for a broad view on the subject.Conclusion: Through this study we discovered that young individuals mainly use the social-media channel Facebook to get updated on civic information.

This Masters thesis investigates user education at academic libraries. The increased demand on students to keep themselves updated in the information society of today urges libraries to develop their user education, concerning both content and teaching strategies. The aim of this study is to examine user education at academic libraries, and the approach of librarians in their teaching. The research questions address how librarians implement the user education and what they focus on. We also want to explore what differences and similarities there are between the user educations, and if anything could be further developed within them.
