Socialpedagogiskt arbete i grundskolan - möjligheter och framtidSocial pedagogic work in compulsary school - potentials and future

This study illustrates the views of working socialpedagogues when it comes to socialpedagogical and social work within compulsary schools. The focus of the study is on how social problems can be prevented and get noticed among children and youths in compulsary school, and what possibilities of development there are in preventive social work. The socialpedagogue?s capability for supporting this development, together with people that are important in the children?s and youths?s lifes, opens up new possibilities in the future for the social work in schools. The main concepts in the study is treatment and attitude, interaction and cooperation with different people inside and outside the school as well as individual- and grouporientated work.

Muslimska kvinnans slöja : Undersökning av hur muslimska kvinnans slöja gestaltas i läromedel

The aim of this thesis was to study how social workers in social services in several municipalities perceive that they interpret the concept of domestic violence and how they believe they would act when it comes to different types of domestic violence. The thesis has focused on three types of violence; physical, psychological and economical. Seven social workers were interviewed with a thematised interview guide and six vignettes. The theoretical perspectives applied in the analysis were the process of normalization and the continuum of violence. The results showed that the social workers did not interpret domestic violence unanimous, and they had different ideas of how they would act in the vignettes.

Ställ en fråga, få ett svar : En vidareutveckling av uDecide?s mobilapplikation

Denna rapport presenterar en utveckling av uDecide, som är ett sorts hjälpmedel för att lättare kunna ta beslut. Ett verktyg som man kan använda för att ställa frågor till andra människor med hjälp av en bild och svarsalternativ för att få ett personligt svar eller åsikt. Syftet med detta projekt är att utveckla en användbar hi-fi prototyp som i sin tur ska vidareutvecklas av webbyrån Roxbury och uDecidegrundarna. Arbetet utgår från en befintlig uDecide iOS mobilapplikation, och fokus har lagts på att förbättra användarupplevelsen och implementera nya funktioner. Med hjälp av förstudier och användartester har vi utvecklat en webbaserad, responsiv hi fi-prototyp.

Om rätten till utbildning för psykologiskt och socialt utsatta barn och ungdomar: ett juridiskt perspektiv

This essay is about children who have psychological and social problems. An increase part of children and young people in Sweden describe this kind of difficulties. These problems are at the same time a concern for the school as well as the social welfare. The purpose in this essay is to explore if children with psychological and social problems have the same legal rights to education as other children. The main questions are to describe the legal rights in this area and explore how schools and social welfare cooperate in order to achieve better possibilities for the children.The facts take a legal aspect as a starting point.

Barns och tonåringars välmående

This paper examined if childrens wellbeing affected their social and academic competence. The data was collected through an anonymous study using questionnaires, where the measuring instruments GHQ12 and EQ was used, and also a number of questions concerning academic competence. The population concisted twentytwo eight grade students, both girls and boys. The population had both Swedish and foreign ancestry. The result showed that wellbeing and the academic competence had a positive correlation.

Self-efficacy inom individuell idrott och lagidrott

Syftet med studien var att undersöka skillnader mellan individuella- och lagidrottares upplevda self-efficacy samt skillnader mellan män och kvinnors self-efficacy. I studien undersöktes även samband mellan socialt stöd, anxiety, motivation, prestation och self-efficacy. Totalt deltog 117 stycken olika idrottare, 53 stycken individuella idrottare och 64 stycken lagidrottare samt varav 53 var kvinnor och 64 stycken var män, i åldrarna 19-52. Metoden som användes var kvantitativ och bestod av flera sammansatta enkäter (TEOSQ, GSE, SCAT och MSPSS) till en hel. Tillsamman med enkäterna följde även fem frågor rörande typ av idrott, ålder, kön, prestation på träning och prestation på tävling.

Fria lekens betydelse i förskolan: Hur pedagoger uppfattar den fria leken i förskolan

Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva och ge ökad förståelse för hur pedagoger uppfattar den fria leken i förskolan. I bakgrundstexten har jag redogjort för vilken syn forskare har på lek och den fria leken. Jag tar även upp om vad lagar och styrdokument lyfter fram inom leken i förskolan. Under rubriken ?Betydelsefulla lärandeperspektiv i förskolan? kommer jag att redogöra om tidigare studier som har gjorts runt det valda ämnet.

The myth of social media : A qualitative study of deliberation and power in Facebook-pages of the Swedish Police

The purpose of this study is to discuss the use of social media by the Swedish Police for democratic purposes. The idea of citizen empowerment is closely related to the development of new communication technologies such as social media. Yet many studies indicate that governmental institutions rarely make use of the assumed potentials of social media.In this study, the democratic potential of social media is derived from Habermas normative concept of deliberative participation. Operational definitions emphasize discursive equality, interactive reciprocity and external impact. The analytical framework is combined with qualitative text analysis to highlight the conditions of interaction between representatives of the Police and citizens.In conclusion: the democratic potential of social media, from a Habermasian point of view, is to a significant extent neglected at the expense of its strategic advantages.

Förskollärares betydelse för barns motoriska utveckling
under utomhusvistelsen

Med denna studie vill vi beskriva hur förskollärare ser på sin egen betydelse för barnens motoriska utveckling under utomhusvistelsen. Vi använde oss av kvalitativa intervjuer eftersom studien riktar sig mot hur förskollärarna ser och uppfattar sig själva. Vi intervjuade sju verksamma förskollärare i en medelstor kommun i Norrbotten. Resultatet visade att de ser sin betydelse som viktig på olika sätt. Förskollärarna anser att de ska finnas där för att uppmuntra och utmana barnen i deras utveckling.

Att undervisa kring miljö och hållbar utveckling - Hur förhåller sig läroböckerna i samhällskunskap, historia och geografi till Lpf94 och de nationella kursplanerna?

Daily citizens are informed by the media about the environment and the climate changes. The schools purpose is to educate students according to events that are of current interest and take place in present time. According to Swedish curriculum, Lpf94, all Swedish education should include and discuss the problems surrounding durable development. The purpose of the study is to se how the textbooks in History, Social studies and Geography and their contents meet the demands of the curriculum. The study shows that only the textbooks in geography meets the demands that the curriculums have on durable development.

Handlingsutrymme : En kvalitativ studie - ur ett socialsekreterarperspektiv, gällande insatser för barn till föräldrar med psykisk sjukdom

How does a social welfare officer know when a parent with mental illness or behavioral symptoms is harmful to the children? As a social you are confronted with different ethical dilemmas on a daily basis. The social welfare officers have to follow their own authorities, laws, guidelines and regulations while at the same time do everything to satisfy their clients? needs. This inconsistency can sometimes be difficult to handle.

Politikers användande av Twitter : En studie av relationen mellan privata och offentliga samtal i den sociala sfären

This study?s aim was to explore how the social media Twitter is used by Swedish political leaders and how they manage the relationship between having both private and public conversations in a new public sphere, the social sphere. In Sweden, studies in this area are yet to grow. We achieved our aim by responding to our three questions at the issue: What kind of content is published in each of the politicians Twitter stream? Are the politicians private or public persons on Twitter? Are the politicians using Twitters interactive functions? We conducted our analysis by performing a quantitative content analysis.

Socialtjänsten och barn till irreguljära immigranter : en rättsvetenskaplig undersökning

The aim of this study was to examine how the social services could investigate and support children of irregular immigrants within the boundaries of the law. More specifically it aimed to examine the legal possibilities and obstacles for the social services to support irregular immigrants, how the officials at the social services act considering the legal aspects, and how they reason morally and ethically when dealing with irregular immigrants. To answer the aim of the study the theory of positive law was used combined with qualitative interviews with two officials at the social services. Moreover a small quantitative telephone study with officials in the social services and with voluntary organizations was made. The study has used theories of sociology of law, law and ethics, and professional (civil) disobedience.

Den bristfälliga implementeringen av LSS en studie av maktaspekten i mötet mellan socialtjänsten och människor med psykiska funktionshinder

In this study, the aim is to show how the social services fails to implement a specific rights law (LSS) wich is supposed to have the function of protecting the wellfare and provide specific rights to people with severe mental disabilities. By applying chritical theory on this case the aim is to provide an alternative answer on why it is possible for the social services to ignore these peoples rights.By revealing the power structures in the encounter between the system and a person with mental dissablilities, I conclude that people with mental disabilities does not fit in when it comes the social sevices way of implementing the law and further more that a private person is extreamly exposed to the systems arbitrariness..
