Title: Learning to read music notation on the guitar ? an analysis of various guitar schools on the market with added own examples. Purpose: To analyse currently available teaching materials on the subject of guitar notation on the market. A comparative analysis is made of five chosen books on the topic. Four criteria for the analysis of these five books are stated: 1) Structure and progression of the study of reading music on the guitar.

A system to regulate both quality and sustainability regarding Swedish tourism industry is under way. In order for the system to be successfull it needs to be accompanied by an education, in this case a net based education is studied.High requirements are demanded for a successful net based education for a sustainable tourism industry. This is valid both for the didactic area,  which is how an education is structured and planned and in the organisational area, which is how and education best is implemented in a company. The aim with this study is to increase the understandings of which aspects that are important for  developers  if this net based education. The study was conducted at three hostels in Stockholm with surrondings. Both managers and  employees participated in the study.  The managers where interviewed and got to answer a questionniare.

Vi vill genom detta arbete visa på de utvecklingsmöjligheter som finns inom improvisationsensembler. I en improvisationsensemble handlar det ofta om att spela solo (att ensam improvisera över ett visst antal givna ackord och takter) vilket samtliga elever vi träffade var mycket duktiga på. Det vi däremot såg när vi gjorde våra övningar var att eleverna ofta var i ?sin värld? när de improviserade, istället för att vara medvetna om sin egen och de övrigas roll i ensemblen. Som blivande musiklärare/gitarrpedagoger har vi sett att elever ofta har en begränsad självbild (att eleven inte själv vet hur han/hon låter) samt vad han/hon själv kan bidra med för att få en ensemble att bli mer samspelt.

The aim of this paper is to shed some light on to what extent the process of making reality of Inclusion, as stated in International Declarations and in Government policies, has reached the actual educational activities in the school system. My chosen method is a case study, in which I have combined a survey with interviews in order to retrieve enough data for my analysis. I have also studied a number of policy documents and relevant literature. My analysis concludes, for the school that I have chosen to study, that there is still a lot to be done before inclusion becomes a reality. There are many obstacles to overcome, for instance; a constant struggle to obtain enough resources and to reach relevant levels of competence within the personnel.

The aim of the study is to investigate the relationship between text and picture in two works by Sven Nordqvist, with the focus on how the action is propelled. The two works are compared in order to bring out any differences in the relationship and what significance this can have for the interpretation. The study also considers the theory of conceptual worlds to examine how the books can promote pupils? literary understanding. The method of analysis is based on Rhedin?s (2001) theoretical concepts and elements of Nikolajeva?s (2000) terminology.

The purpose with this study is to gain understanding about student´s view of mathematical education, in the later years of nine-year compulsory school, and the motivation factors that can be identified when student´s gives opportunity to express their own thoughts due to the mathematical education. From experiences we have gained during the practical part of our teachers education we got the impression that student´s think that the mathematical education is boring and uninteresting. Through qualitative methods such as survey and discussions in focus group we have analyzed student´s views of mathematical education and pointed out witch motivation factors that are expressed when student´s gives opportunity to influence over their own education. The results are shown from the answers and comments that student´s gave, during the survey and focus group, and is divided into two main parts, both with focus on motivation ?Mathematics and motivation? and ?Student´s influence and motivation? and also a summery part ?Motivated for mathematical education when the student is given influence over the education?. The study showed that student´s wants to have more difference in the work methods that are used in their mathematical education such as problem solving, games, more work in groups and pairs and more use of IT. In conclusion the study also gives suggestions to other studies that can be made in the same genre as this study in the way that IT can be used in mathematical education and how student´s interest can be used in the education to gain more motivated student´s..

Uppsatsens fokus utgörs av den tröghet som präglar processen mot en jämnare köns-fördelning på samhällets högre chefspositioner. Den inleds med en kartläggning av aktuell forskning, som omfattar områdena genus och ledarskap, ledarskapsutbildning, organisationskultur och makt samt en intervjuundersökning som kompletteras med policydokumentanalys. Utifrån analysen som materialet genererar drar jag slutsatser som resulterar i förslag till en alternativ ledarskapsutbildning. Uppsatsens primära syfte är att genom litteraturstudie, kvalitativt upplagda intervjuer med personer på chefsbefattningar, chefsutvecklare, pedagoger inom ledarskapsutveckling, kreativt skrivande och rollspel samt dokumentanalys undersöka förutsättningarna för kvinnli-ga chefer och ledare. Det sekundära syftet är att motivera upplägget på en ledarskaps-utbildning, som både möjliggör en könsutjämning och erbjuder en mall för kreativ le-darskapsutveckling oavsett tidigare hierarkier och strukturer.

Vad är det för skillnad mellan folkmusikaliskt fiolspel och klassiskt violinspel? Syftet med arbetet var att tydliggöra några av de interpretatoriska skillnaderna mellan folkmusik och romantisk musik. Undersökningen gjordes genom instudering av ett romantiskt stycke och en folkmusiklåt med hjälp av lärarhandledning, lyssning på inspelningar och reflektioner kring stilmedlen. Efter tillägnandet av de båda interpretationssättet gjordes en omvänd interpretation. Folkmusiklåten spelades enligt romantisk interpretation och det romantiska stycket spelades med det folkliga spelsättet.

AbstractThe aim of our study was that from a Preschool Manager?s perspective to describe, analyze and understand the function of special education and the Special Education Teacher?s profession within preschools. We conducted twelve interviews with Preschool Managers in two northern Swedish municipalities. From a theoretical base, we used both the relational and categorical perspectives. All answers from these interviews have been analyzed from these perspectives.

This thesis examines how a jury on an artistic education adopts next year's students to a BA program at an art school. My intention is to explore how we established artists who are involved in education as professors, teachers (or students) in art education affects who will be released to the exclusive educational path as an art school represents our work in the admissions jury. Denna undersökning syftar till att få en inblick i hur några sångpedagoger arbetar med och tänker kring tolkning och musikaliskt uttryck. Detta har undersökts genom kvalitativa intervjuer med sex sångpedagoger med olika bakgrund, arbetsplats och genreinriktning.I min undersökning kommer jag fram till att det trots pedagogernas olika bakgrund i genrekunskap, utbildning, och nivå på elever finns många gemensamma nämnare för hur deras arbete med tolkning och uttryck går till. Att flera av informanterna använder begreppet interpretation under intervjuerna ser jag som att begreppen inte verkar påverka mitt resultat, då jag tolkar det som att informanterna menar samma sak och att innebörden är densamma.Jag anser även att svaren på intervjuerna pekar på att det hos några av informanterna finns en osäkerhet om vad arbetet med tolkning och musikaliskt uttryck kan leda till och att de därför inte i så hög grad medvetet använder detta i sin undervisning.Att arbeta med tolkning och musikaliskt uttryck kan innebära en mängd olika saker vilka har gemensamt att skapa medvetenhet om det egna uttrycket. The overall aim with this study is to elucidate outdoor education as an education method and on the basis of that illustration to examine active educators vision on it as a way to motivate students' learning. This study is based on a literature component and a qualitative study through interviews five teachers.The results of the interviews show how to interpret the motivation and how to work with students' motivation. As well as outdoor education as part of the activity.  The interviews show the importance of outdoor education can be to increase students'motivation for learning. They also show the importance of outdoor education is for student learning and test scores have shown the effectiveness of student learning through outdoor education.

AimOur aim with this study was to examine how outdoor education is designed and experienced in three upper (senior) levels of compulsory school in Stockholm, and to compare it with the Norwegian equivalence.MethodOur method has been interviews with ten teachers, of whom six are Swedish teachers and four are Norwegian teachers. Two Swedish teachers are teaching in other subjects than Physical Education, four are teachers in Physical Education, two are teachers in Norway in Physical Education at and two are teachers in Norway at university level. Questionnaires were used to examine the Swedish pupils? attitudes towards outdoor education. 90 questionnaires were delivered, and 70 answered them.

The purpose of this thesis is to discuss education as a state tool in Sweden during the 17th and 18th century. The idea is to contrast the pragmatics of the Swedish education system with the theories of Rousseau and Comenius. The thesis is marked by the thought that theory and application diverse because of the subversive infusion in the ideas of the theoretic.The results shows that it is ultimately a question of public education and its potential. The state recognises the potential of public education but also its dangers and therefore becomes very active in forming not only the education system as a hole but also its pedagogic.
