Underso?kningen har sin utga?ngspunkt i observationer och intervjuer med representanter fra?n en institutionell respektive icke-institutionell miljo? da?r vi har fo?rso?kt att ta reda pa? upplevelser av miljo?n, sta?mning, roller och prestationer.Slutsatsen av underso?kningen a?r att de tva? fo?rmedlingssituationerna a?r mycket lika men att intentionerna skiljer sig. I den institutionella miljo?n a?r utga?ngspunkten att la?ra sig att spela och det finns en nyttoaspekt i la?randet av la?tar da?r syftet a?r att pa? la?ng sikt utvecklas inom folkmusik i stort.

I denna studie underso?ks fo?rskolla?rares olika fo?rha?llningssa?tt till ho?gla?sningssituationen och barns spra?kutveckling. Syftet a?r att diskutera och problematisera fo?rskolla?rares konstruktioner av barns spra?kliga aktiviteter i samband med ho?gla?sningssituationen. Empirin grundas pa? intervjuer med fem fo?rskolla?rare vilka analyseras med hja?lp av diskurspsykologi.

En vanlig orsak till brott i svetsade kolsta?lskonstruktioner kan ha?rledas till sma? sprickbildningar som uppsta?r i svetsgodset eller det omra?de av grundmaterialet som har pa?verkats strukturellt av energin fra?n svetsprocessen, a?ven kallad HAZ. Dessa sprickor uppsta?r ofta timmar eller dagar efter avslutad svetsning och beror pa? en kombination av va?te, en ha?rd och spro?d mikrostruktur och na?rvaro av spa?nningar.Fo?r att undvika dessa sprickor kan man fo?rva?rma materialet innan svetsning. Den fo?rho?jda arbetstemperaturen ger en la?ngsammare svalning vilken minskar risken fo?r martensitbildning och la?ter va?te diffundera ut fra?n svetsfo?rbandets kritiska delar.

It is important that the language in textbooks for foreign language learners reflects the language that the learners would encounter in real life. For this reason, the presence of the thousand most common nouns in two Swedish textbooks in Spanish for upper secondary school is observed in this study. Furthermore, this study aims to examine how these nouns occur in order to determine if their pattern of occurence favours the learning and consolidation of words. The main materials that have been used are A Frequency Dictionary of Spanish by Davies (2006) and the word search program available in the digital versions of the textbooks. The results show that the presence of the thousand most common Spanish nouns does reflect the frequency information presented in the frequency dictionary but not all thousand nouns are included.

In the essay, the view of mistakes and disciplinary sanctions within the military aviation and health and medical service, are compared. The comparison shows that military aviation and health and medical service could have several points in common on how mistakes may occur, but that the present view of mistakes is different betwen the sectors. The view of mistakes and disciplinary sanctions is explicit within military aviation, and is based on a clear ideology on how mistakes occur, which is characterised of a systematic approach. Within health and medical service, an explicit and unequivocal ideology on how mistakes occur is missing, but, however, there are implicit ideas about infallibility and perfection. The comparison indicates that the view of mistakes is also, possibly directed by a bureaucratic model (instead of an ideology on mistakes), which aims to legitimacy, but that this may happen on the expense of not taking surrounding circumstances into consideration.

This study is about language use in text messaging. In this study there are 338 text messages: 206 of them written by girls and 132 written by boys. The informants in the study are 16 years old and they live in the countryside on the outskirts of a small town in southern Sweden. The purpose of this study was to investigate characteristic linguistic features in the messages, in order to determine what significant meaning an emoticon such as a smiley brings to a text and further, to explore what speech acts smileys occur in.The results show that the language in the messages is a mix of spoken and written language. The characteristic features that were found in the messages were short sentences, onomatopoetic expressions, words written in capital letters, English expressions and use of smileys.

This study analyzes the discursive content of four history textbooks in order to demonstrate how national identities are formed and how they differ from each other. This was done through discourse analysis guided by social constructivism and John M. Hobson?s dichotomy of East and West. The study shows that textbooks mainly construct national identities in three ways; first by making a clear distinction between ?The Self? and ?The Other?, second by preserving a world order based on the notions of the invariant hegemony of the nation-state, and third by utilizing stereotype based dissimilarities in order to accentuate existing differences between nationalities. Implicit ideals and values in the historical discourse play an important part in the construction of identities; however sends a contradictory and ambiguous message.

The company Microshop is interested in implementing new features in their product-website, and would like to examine the possibility and usefulness of introducing such functionality. When designing interaction for commercial websites, it is important to make the menus easy to use, and refrain from using deep hierarchies in order to avoid causing unnecessary burden for the users. There is an interest among users for adaptive functionality, but this requires great amounts of trust in the website from the user. Something which can be created by refraining from using implicit information, and provide detailed explanations throughout the website. A usability test was conducted in order to complement the data gathered from the theoretical study, the interviews and the expert evaluations.

The paper examines how human inner properties and the interpretation of the external worldare explained and presented in Dark City (Alex Proyas, 1998). Aspects as the relationship between the body and soul/consciousness, body snatching, memory transferences and dystopian cities are analyzed. The field of study is compared to a general science-fiction film perspective regarding the aspects. Dark City contains an alien race with a common mind, but who lacks soul and individuality. They represent what humanity can become if the scientific development goes too far.

Because of the globalization of society, English as a foreign language (EFL) has become easier to access through internet and outside school English activities, so called ?extramural English activities? (EEA). Previous research indicates a positive relation between pupils? EFL vocabulary development and EEA (Sundqvist, 2009). This development may influence teachers? lesson planning, because of pupils? wide span of interests and the resulting different levels of EFL vocabulary.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to deepen the understanding of how society affects literary criticism by studying the reception of two Swedish dystopian novels and their contemporary anchorage. The questions that we answer here are concerned with how critics have drawn parallels between the novels and events occurring in the contemporary society, and how the critics outlook on the future are connected to ideas about the future in the novels. The first novel, Kallocain 1940 by Karin Boye has been interpreted as a critical statement directed towards totalitarian ideologies. The second novel, After the Flood 1982 by P C Jersild, has been seen as a warning against nuclear warfare. This qualitative study is based on 41 reviews from Swedish daily press.
