Automatisk genreklassifikation : en experimentell studie
This thesis aims at examining to what extent a few, algorithmically very easily extractable document features can be used to classify electronic documents according to genre. A set of experiments is therefore carried out, using only 11 such simple features in an attempt to classify 84 documents belonging to electronic academic journals into three manually identified genres: table of contents, article, and review. The 11 features are also divided into three sets, containing metrics of words and sentences; punctuation marks; and URL links, respectively. The performance when using these sets of features is then measured with regard to classification accuracy, using a k-NN classifier, four different values of k (1, 3, 5, 7), and both leave-one-out and 10-fold cross-validation. In this study we have examined in which way the horse is used in Equine Assisted Therapy, and what effects the treatment staff experience and describes that the interaction with horses has on girls who self-harms. Our Empirical data was collected through qualitative methods such as interviews, participant observation and informal interviews with a total of six different informants, from five different activities with Equine Assisted Therapy for girls who self-harms. In the analysis we have assumed symbolic interactionism, a theory focusing on the human as a social being, where the self-image alters in the social interaction with other human beings. We interwove this theory with the Biophilia hypothesis, an explanatory model concerning human?s relationship to animals and nature.The conclusions we have found in the results are:Equine Assisted Therapy is a complementary treatment comprises both horseback riding and exercises which is not based on the horsebackEquine Assisted Therapy almost always involves three parts, the therapist, the client and the horse.

The study aims to examine some teachers' and students' conceptions of drama in schools and in after-school centers. ?Educator? in this study refers to after-school leaders and drama teachers. The study is limited to three educators and three students at a public school in the Stockholm area. This study considers the following questions: How do educators use drama in schools and in after-school centers? How do students perceive drama in schools and in after-school centers? What importance do educators think that drama has for students?The study draws on the socio-cultural theory on teamwork and social interaction.
Förebilder inom mode : En studie om maktfördelningen mellan konsument och media
Dagens stilikoner har en odiskutabel maktposition inom modebranschen. Media bidrar till utvecklingen genom att förmedla budskap till konsumenten. Avsikten med den här uppsatsen är att belysa medias roll i kommunikationen av stilikoner samtidigt som konsumentens förhållande till stilikoner ska granskas. Hur ser bilden av en stilikon ut från mediernas respektive konsumentens synvinkel? Är det medierna som styr vad konsumenterna anser vara stilfullt, eller är det i själva verket konsumenterna som har makten? Uppsatsen är av kvalitativ karaktär och baseras på djupintervjuer med konsumenter och mode¬experter.
Bilföretagens reklam till segmentet 50+ - En studie om reklam bör vara anpassad till segmentet 50+ eller om detta är en överskattad strategi
Syftet med denna uppsats är att, med bakgrund av vad som redan studerats inom ämnet marknadsföring till segmentet 50+ samt nyförvärvad kunskap, ta reda på om det verkligen är värt för de utvalda bilföretagen att satsa på anpassad reklam mot segmentet 50+ och om konsumenterna inom detta segment uppskattar att de får reklamen direkt riktad till sig. Vi valde att utgå från en abduktiv ansats med kvalitativ forskningsmetod. Vi har valt att göra telefon- samt fokusgruppsintervjuer som ligger till grund för vår insamling av empiri. För att ta reda på information intervjuade vi marknadschefer eller personer med liknande ansvar för att få bilföretagens synvinkel på reklam till segmentet 50+. Därefter valde vi att ha fokusgruppsintervjuer, i Malmö och Stockholm, med kunder till samtliga utvalda bilföretag för att ta reda på om deras åsikter och tankar är i överensstämmelse med bilföretagens, eller inte.

Kallbad som turistattraktion : En studie om destinationsutveckling av Stockholms stad
Stockholm is considered as a tourist destination which has a lot of offers to attract tourists and if it utilizes it water better it can give a wonderful and unique experiences and cold baths may become an image to it.The aim of this study is to shed light on the open-air swimming-baths and shores of Stockholm. Also how to use this advantage as it?s a city based on many islands, the purest water in Europe and this makes Stockholm as a destination a very attractive place for tourism. For a better understanding of our study, we have studied the quality and quantity to see how people began to exploit open-air swimming-baths throughout history everywhere in Europe and specifically of Stockholm city sea shore. We did a study on the history traditions of open-air swimming-baths and how it can be a tourist attraction through books and interviews, scientific articles and our personal observation, so that we can analyze how to develop sustainable tourism in the future and how Stockholm city can make development of opportunities for the future.

Can the lack of functional cross-cultural communication among individuals within an international organization be the reason for cultural clashes to occur, and lead to conflict between two cultures within the same organization?Our aim is to try to create a potential model of how cross-cultural problems can be studied, in order to contribute to the solution of the problem. And to examine whether the theories, which form the basis of our model can be applied in reality.The research have assumed from the hermeneutical approach for a holistic view of the problem area. The deductive approach has been used in order to distinguish whether the theories can be applied to reality, and qualitative research method for collecting data.The focus lies within cross-cultural communications, which defines the various cultural factors that can affect organizational culture. Hofstede dimensions and the social structure are mentioned and cultural factors as language and religion.
RoDent : Robotic Dentistry : Computer aided dental implant positioning system
A study was carried in conjunction with the Orthodontic department at Halmstad General Hospital in Sweden to investigate the possibility of reducing cost and manufacture time of dental implant drill guides. The current system involves sending a digital image in STL format to the Materialise factory in Belgium where information of the position of dental implants is translated onto a moulded mouthpiece. Drill guides are placed in the mouth piece which is then returned to the surgeon. The mouthpiece complete with drill guides is then placed in the patients mouth and used as a guide for the implant drill holes. The cost of 10000 sek and a turnaround time of 2 weeks gave rise to the need for a faster and cheaper solution.

The aim of my bachelor?s thesis is to investigate, through a literature review, changes in the
distribution of filamentous algae as well as the general species composition of macroalgae
and diatoms in Swedish eelgrass meadows. I have also studied the possibility of tracking
these algae and diatoms in eelgrass meadows using eDNA methodology. The focus has been
on linking these changes to climate change factors such as eutrophication, temperature
increase, and anthropogenic emissions, and how these affect the health of eelgrass meadows
and their ecosystem services, such as a carbon sink and biodiversity support.
The results show that filamentous algae have increased markedly in coverage in Swedish
coastal areas between 1980 and 2021, especially in sheltered bays, indicating that altered
environmental conditions favor these fast-growing species. Genetic tracking using eDNA
demonstrated that there are functional primers for many species, particularly among brown
algae and red algae, whereas green algae require more specific primers due to greater genetic
variation.

There are, however, several challenges associated with brand extensions. One of these challenges is the impact of a new brand extension on the parent brand image, which is known as feedback effect. Feedback effects are the changes in parent brand associations that are caused by a new brand extension, these effects can be both negative and positive. Several previous studies have investigated feedback effects and the antecedents of these effects.

Animal art is one of the more mystical aspects of Scandinavian Iron Age culture. It has foremost been regarded in the light of art and style history. Interpretation has also ? mainly from the 1990s and onwards ? been made through iconographic analysis. But the problem here is that iconography requires textual analogy, something that the Scandinavian Iron Age lacks.The purpose of this paper is to lift some of the ?mystical fog? that engulfs the scandinavian animal art, by developing a method for interpretation of pre-historic images that evades the flaws in the iconographic method.
