Diabetes type 2 is a fast growing illness and a global health problem, often a result from less appropriate standard of living. Lifestyle changes related to diet and physical activity are important lifestyle changes regarding to get control of the self-management and to avoid vascular complications.AimThe aim of this study was to describe patient's experiences of lifestyle changes in diabetes type 2.MethodA literature study was carried through based on 12 qualitative scientific articles.ResultsThe analysis result into two main themes and eight subthemes. Main themes where barriers and motivators for lifestyle changes and the subthemes where struggle, denial, lack of knowledge, alienation, support, motivation, acceptance and knowledge.ConclusionThis study shows that lifestyle changes are experienced different by patient with diabetes and nurses should therefore be aware of the unique and specific demands these patients require. This is important for providing a good diabetic healthcare and to help patients with their self-management.

Syftet med föreliggande uppsats är att definiera begreppet fransk flöjtestetik. Arbetet berör hur den tradition som förknippas med Conservatoire de Paris har vuxit fram och hur den hållits vid liv. Arbetet innefattar några av de mer kända flöjtister som verkade vid Conservatoire de Paris och vilken influens de hade på musiklivet i Frankrike under 1800-talet. Flöjtens utveckling under 1700 och 1800-talet täcks även in och visar vilka följder det kan ha haft på de rådande flöjtistiska ideal. Den konstnärliga delen i arbetet inbegriper jämförelse mellan två olika klangliga ideal och vilken effekt det kan ha på musiken.

The purpose in this thesis is to explore the underlying conceptions concerningeuropeanization and public administration that Statskontoret is expressing in itspublications. Statskontoret is an agency in the service of the Swedish State whichprovides the Government and the Ministries with investigations and surveys. Themethodological choice in this thesis is to perform an idea analysis containing twoIdeal Types which correspond with two polar theories, transnationalism andnation-state logic, concerning how a state will react on increasing european-ization. Initially, the theoretical framework is presented, and is followed by apresentation of the content in the relevant publications of Statskontoret. The idealtypes and the publications are examined from six different dimensions with theambition to explore the underlying conception in the publications.

When referring to the same event, people can have different assumptions. What is interesting to see is why these assumptions are different, why do people have different stories? Some of the reasons could be different levels of expectation, different communication channels or even different cultural backgrounds. The main objective of this paper has been to construct a way to measure the level of social capital in a society. Based on a theory which describes the ideal society have I herein tried to find out to what extent the Swedish and Danish communities correspond to this model. The theoretical foundation consist of several different levels of analysis, and I have indeed found there to be consideral differences between the two nations on these different levels. The paper however conclude that these differences even out to add up to a Social Capital Index that is remarkably similar. A result which is to be interpreted as one nation being about as close to the ideal situation from a social capital point-of-view as the other..

The aim of this paper is to investigate the implementation of genres, pertaining to non-fiction, in four different universal classification schemes BC2, UDC, DDC, SAB. It is not the aim of this paper to answer the question why certain genres are more implemented than others, or vice versa. Instead it is intended to be an investigation into the concept of non-fiction genres with the aim of attracting attention to the many interesting aspects of this concept for library- and information science research. An analysis of the schemes general auxiliary tables is performed by comparison with a specific genre-system devised by Ottar Grepstad. This genre-system is organised by dividing different genres into groups according to linguistic criteria.

Forskningen kring kvinnors kroppsuppfattning har länge uppmärksammats men det finns lite forskning kring mäns kroppsuppfattning, i och med det ville vi undersöka huruvida unga mäns kroppsuppfattning är annorlunda eller inte. Vi har utgått från sociala medier eftersom det är en relativt ny medieform som än så länge inte undersökts så mycket. Syftet är att belysa huruvida ett antal unga män påverkas av träningsrelaterade bilder. Undersökningen är kvalitativ och har genomförts med semistrukturerade intervjuer. Urvalet bestod av 7 män i åldern 18-20 år.

Background: Type 2 diabetes is a chronic disease that vigorously increases worldwide. The disease can affect the entire everyday life which usually results in major lifestyle change. The treatment consists largely of self care which the patient itself has great responsibility for. The nurses have an important role in supporting, guiding and teaching the patients. Since every patient is unique the nurse would benefit from an increased knowledge about the patients experiences of what promotes and prevents self care in type 2 diabetes. Aim: The aim was, from a patient perspective, describe the experience of what promotes and prevents a self care in type 2 diabetes. Methods: A literature review based on nine scientific articles gathered from the databases CINAHL plus with full text, PubMed and Medline.

I denna undersökning behandlas kroppsideal på sociala medier med utgångspunkt från skolämnet Idrott och hälsa. Detta sker genom en diskursanalys på kroppsbilder för att se mönster i hur en hälsosam kropp framställs. Syftet är att undersöka, diskutera samt belysa de ideal och den syn på hälsa ungdomar kan möta på dessa sociala medier. De frågeställningar vi har är: ?Vilka diskurser kan identifieras i bilderna på sociala medier som hanterar kroppsideal och hälsa?? samt ?Utifrån ett makt- och genusperspektiv, vilka synsätt på kropp och hälsa kommer till uttryck i diskurserna som unga kan möta på de sociala medierna Instagram och Tumblr??.

In this essay, the aim is to empirically and theoretically study the parliamentary debate of the child pornography law. The empirical part is an attempt to discover eventual underlying gender stereotypes in the debate. A text analysis is conducted with material consisting of motions from members of parliament and of protocols from the parliamentary debate. In this material we try to find latent and manifest expressions of gender stereotypes. There are several stereotypes, which effects the argumentation and prejudice of the debate, like stereotypes of the victims, the perpetrators and their characteristics.
