Vi lever i ett samhälle där det råder brist på jämställdhet mellan män och kvinnor. Hur människor förhåller sig till detta ? huruvida de återskapar eller omförhandlar genus ? får konsekvenser för om dessa förhållanden förstärks eller förändras. En plattform där återskapande och omförhandlande sker är på unga människors bloggar. Syftet med denna uppsats är att se hur bloggarna via språket återskapar och omförhandlar genus och hur bloggarnas läsare förhåller sig till detta.

The aim of this study was to examine how "Professional Exes", individuals that have exited a drug abuse and a criminal career and further are educated to work in the addiction field, transformed their identity and which factors that were significant in the process. The result of this study are based on semi-structured interviews with five Professional Exes and shows which specific factors in the process that contributed to the transformation and what kind of difficulties and barriers that existed during the process. The study suggests that, among other things, identification with others exes and the 12 Step Program are significant factors in the process. Furthermore, the study suggests that a difficulty in the transformation is that residues from the previous identity such as a poor self-esteem occurred in some situations..

Injuries to the suspensory ligament represent a huge problem in equine veterinary medicine. As many of the affected horses are elite-competition athletes, there are high expectations on veterinarians to make these horses fully functional again. The suspensory ligament has several features which makes the healing process complicated. So far no treatment has shown to optimize the healing process. This has led to the testing of many new treatment methods, in order to find a consensus for the injury.

This paper examines the power producing dams along the Ume-river as an integral part of and a result from the urbanization process in Sweden during industrial capitalism. The aim of the paper is to contribute to the knowledge of the urbanization process in Sweden in general and of its traces along the Ume river in the county of Västerbotten in particular. The paper applies the theory of concentrated urbanization and extended urbanization put forward by Neil Brenner and Christian Schmid (2015) and argues that the building of power producing dams along the Ume-river is part of an extended urbanization process. This becomes particularly evident when examining the vast physical structures that is the dams, situated in an otherwise remote and sparsely populated area. These vast physical structures are also very well connected to a nation wide electric grid that has connections to bordering countries as well.

Mergers and acquisitions are a phenomenon which can occur for a variety of reasons. It may for example be that the organizations want to gain larger market shares or to complement and learn from each other and thus become more competitive. After the completion of an acquisition or merger, a process is initiated to create an affiliation between the two companies' employees. The purpose of this paper is to examine whether there is something that management can do to make the integration process as efficient as possible. The empirical research in this paper consisted of interviews and surveys with respondents from two accounting firms that recently completed a merger.

The climate at the labour-market in Sweden today means that students who have recently passed their examinations find it quite difficult to find work. The competetiveness calls for a strategy to find advantages in the employment process. The strategy explored in this thesis is called personal branding. We believe that by building a strong personal brand you can increase the possibilities to influence the decisions of those responsible for recruitments in our society. The question we ask ourselves in this essay is how to build a personal brand with the power to give students a competetive advantage in the employment process.

   SAMMANFATTNING Lina Högemark?Jag bor på Spanien?En studie om hur tvåspråkighetsutvecklingen av det svenska språket kan se ut i Spanien ?I live at Spain?A study on the bilingual development of the Swedish language might look like in Spain Antal sidor: 47  Studiens syfte är att belysa olika aspekter av tvåspråkighet och ge en fördjupad kunskap inom ämnet. Den empiriska studien syftar till att se hur fyra olika pedagoger som undervisar i svenska i Spanien ser på tvåspråkighet och vad som krävs av pedagoger och föräldrar för att det svenska språket skall utvecklas. Stort intresse ligger i huruvida ett språk måste introduceras före en viss ålder för att utvecklas optimalt samt om det finns några generella språkfel och bakomliggande orsaker till detta fenomen. Observationer med två svensk/spansktalande barn har utförts för att ge studien en djupare inblick i ämnet.

Det här arbetet handlar om matematisk historia i matematikundervisningen. Huvudsyftet är att undersöka hur den matematiska historiens innehåll inom skolämnet matematik har utvecklats genom att jämföra läroböcker, intervjua lärare, samt att jämföra dagens läroplan och kursplaner med den förra läroplanen för gymnasiet, matematik för treårig naturvetenskaplig linje och fyraårig teknisk linje. Förutom huvudsyftet har jag även försökt ta reda på vad lärare tycker om matematisk historia och har därför medelst intervjuer försökt ta reda på vad dessa åsikter står för. Frågeställningar som besvaras i arbetet är hur historiemomentet inom matematikundervisningen har utvecklats i läroböcker och vad läro- och kursplaner säger om historiemomentet förr och nu. Eftersom betygskriterierna i nuvarande kursplaner säger att eleverna ska ha kunskap om den matematiska historien på olika sätt, har jag också valt att granska de nationella proven, för att ta reda på om de innehåller något matematikhistoriskt inslag.

Sammanfattning I denna uppsats har jag har valt att fokusera på hur film används i den svenska grundskolans obligatoriska historieundervisning i årskurserna 7-9. Tanken är att belysa hur film används som redskap och komplement i undervisningen och på vilket sätt filmen följs upp. Undersökningen har visat att användandet av film kan fungera som komplement i undervisningen, då detta i mångt och mycket kan ge en djupare förståelse och inblick i människors livsvillkor och samhällets förändringar genom historien. Men det är själva uppföljningen och bearbetningen av filmen som är avgörande om historiefilmer ska fungera i undervisningssyfte. Undersökningen utfördes som en halvtstrukturerad kvalitativ intervju.

In which ways have composing processes in music appeared over the past 300 years? How may composing processes work today? What does new technology do to this processes?The key purpose of this study is to investigate various composing processes. A further purpose is also to gain an awareness of how we use modern technology by computers and their notation programmes.The research design of this thesis includes a display of literature related to composing processes. along with an analysis of the writer?s own experiences in the area.

The intention with the research was to investigate the role of civil society in the Kenyan democratization process. The research intends thus to analyze (1) the role of civil society in Kenya's transition to democracy (1990- 2002), and (2) the role of civil society in the further democratization process (2002- 2013).The results of the research demonstrates that the role of civil society played a crucial role in Kenya?s transition to democracy given that civil society provided with a multiparty- system in 1991. In addition, civil society endowed with education for citizens in order to attain constitutional reforms. As a result, Kenya accomplished a transition to democracy in 2002.

Background: There are many people waiting for a kidney transplant. To get a kidney from a living donor has many advantages. The gift is about giving and receiving. The decision is characterized by life-philosophy of the donor.Aim: To highlight the experiences of the kidney donation process.Methods: A systematic literature review in which 11 articles were included, seven qualitative and four quantitative. The articles are quality and ethically reviewed, the results are analyzed according Granskär & Höglund and Polit & Beck.Results: The results were gathered under two themes: the decision-process shows the path from idea to decision and implementation-process treats the donation and confirmation of the gift.

This study examines how Sweden?s four biggest newspapers deal with the attacks in Oslo and on Utøya the 22nd of July 2011. This date, where the ethnic Norwegian Anders Behring Breivik, bombed the goverment headquarter and killed 69 people at a political camp, will be remembered for a long period of time.  With its critical perspective, this study examines a total of thirteen news articles published within eight days after the attacks in Oslo and on Utøya, to see in what way the Swedish news papers constructs Breivik as a person. Furthermore the study examines in what way the Swedish newspapers makes connections to Sweden and to what extent speculation is used in the news articles. The theoretical premises for the study are the critical discourse analysis, and key elements within it that is used are ideology, discourse and micro- and macro analysis. The conclusion shows that Swedish newspapers are disposed to construct Breivik as a unique individual who falls outside the normative scopes in their explanations of a murderer or a terrorist.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka vilka bilder av män och maskulinitet barn möter i bilderböcker. Detta har undersökts genom en analys av 11 utvalda bilderböcker. Bilderböckerna har valts ut via ett urval där kriterierna har varit att böckerna skulle vara vällästa av barn samt att där skulle finnas med vuxna män/manskaraktärer. Studien utgår från ett poststrukturalistiskt synsätt, med fokus på genusteorier och kritisk mansforskning. Resultatet visar att männen i böckerna har fått ett flertal olika positioner och bär på en mängd olika egenskaper. Vissa gemensamma mönster har funnits att hitta. Många av männen har porträtterats på ett stereotypiskt manligt vis, med ett fysiskt och utåtagerande uttryck med mycket aggressivitet.
