The aim of this thesis is to study a job-searching process and elements that affects it. The elements I have focused on are gender, class and social network. The study is based on interviews and a survey study with students from the educational program of Social work (Socialomsorgsutbildningen), that graduated 3 years ago. Through the survey I have examined their social-background and their job-searching process. The interviews are the main focus in the study.

Nutrient enrichment is the main cause of the increasing eutrophication process in the Baltic Sea during last century. A prerequisite counteract this process the load of nutrients to the Sea must be investigated. The large contribution of nutrients to the Sea is caused by emission from the rivers within the drainage basin. For the total emission of nutrient into the Sea the retention process in the rivers has big influence. This process in the river system has been assumed as a not important part of the nutrient cycle.

Syftet med studien är att utröna vilka värden som präglar den kunskaps- och samhällssyn som ligger till grund för den nya gymnasieskolan och vad dessa går att härleda till, samt diskutera vilka konsekvenser detta kan tänkas få ur ett vidare demokratiskt perspektiv. Studien använder sig av en kvalitativ ideologikritisk metod, och finner sin teoretiska ansats i kritisk teori och Frankfurtskolans tankar kring det senmoderna samhällets möjligheter och begränsningar.Det material som bildar underlag för studien utgörs av propositionen för en ny gymnasieskola (2008/09:199) och den offentliga utredning (SOU 2008:27) som föregick denna.Studien visar att den kunskaps- och samhällssyn som ligger till grund för den nya gymnasieskolan är kraftigt präglad av instrumentella, funktionella och entreprenörsmässiga värden. Dessa värden går att härleda till den kapitalistiska struktur som genomsyrar det senmoderna samhället vari en målrationell syn på såväl utbildning som samhälle främjas. Studiens resultat påvisar en icke-värderande politik och inskränkningar i demokratin som riskerar att leda till att etablerade maktstrukturer och ojämlikheter i samhället reproduceras och befästs ytterligare..

Uppsatsen undersöker hur gymnasielärare tolkar innehållet i undervisning för hållbar utveckling i historieämnet. Fyra gymnasielärare i historia intervjuades. Som analysmetod användes ett intentionellt perspektiv. Resultatet visar att lärarna tolkade innehållet i sin undervisning som tre teman: helheter, agerande och ansvar. Dessa tre teman har likheter och överlappar varandra.

The aim of this study was to examine ways in which High School Students approach academic writing. Both discursive and critical-analytical levels in 21 PM-texts and 14 investigating literary essays were analyzed through a genre theoretical and sociocultural framework in order to widen the understanding of students? usage of explicit textual and interpersonal markers as well as their techniques of writing abstracts. The results showed that nearly 25 percent of the putative abstracts consisted of sampled and reshaped text sequences. The majority of these were on the other hand results of a creative process in which the students reshaped utterances from different sources.

Studiens frågeställning har inriktats mot en kontroversiell tanke, en apokalyptisk sådan. Denna C-uppsats är en kvalitativ studie om hur pedagoger ser på sin egen roll vid bildaktiviteter, samt hur detta påverkar det faktiska arbetet med barnen. Syftet med studien är att utröna pedagogers inställning till bildämnet inom förskole- och förskoleklassverksamheter för att påvisa hur detta i förlängningen påverkar deras bildaktiviteter. Empirin har jag fått genom framförallt intervjuer med förskollärare inom förskola och skola, samt enkäter. Mina frågeställningar lyder: Hur pedagogen ser på sin egen roll vid bildaktiviteter, hur pedagoger planerar sina bildaktiviteter, hur pedagogen ser på sin egen roll som skapande individ, samt om bildens historia kan skönjas i dagens bildaktiviteter. Det framkommer i studien att flertalet av informanterna flitigt använder sig av det så kallade fria skapandet när de planerar och utför bildaktiviteter.

The purpose of this Bachelor?s thesis is to describe and analyze the implementation of Facebook in a public library. A case study consisting of qualitative interviews and studies of documents containing goals for the library has been conducted at a public library going through the process of implementing Facebook in their operations. The theoretical framework for this study consists of Everett M. Rogers?s stages of the innovation-decision process and his characteristics of innovations as perceived by individuals.

The aim with this literature review is to describe the ensilage process in a bunker silo. The process from harvest and chopping to filling and unloading the silo is explained. The sealing of the bunker silo plays an important role for the final quality of the silage. This review covers some of the techniques used. There are many silage additives on the market, some of them are presented including how they act in the ensilage process.

Denna litteraturstudies syfte var att belysa sjuksköterskans psykiska reaktioner kritiska händelser. Frågeställningarna var: vad upplever sjuksköterskan som kritisk händelse? Hur reagerar sjuksköterskan inför/vid kritiska händelser? faktorer påverkar sjuksköterskans reaktioner? Hur påverkar tillfälle till reflektion sjuksköterskan? Databaserna som studierna söktes i är Cochrane Library, PubMed, ISI (Social Citation Index) och i Cinahl.

This essay describes a single case self-study of a music composer in order to track the compositional process in real time. In the study the subject and the researcher are the same person. The study builds on previous empirical studies that have used methodological approaches such as analysis of computer-based digital data collection, verbal protocol and video observations. It deals with issues of the compositional process related to for example time consumption, number of artistic decisions, the different roles and skills of a music composer, and methods of research in the musical composition process. During three shifts the researcher worked as a music composer dealing with the issue of converting an audio sketch of a composition into a representative finished audio product.

How does IT-consultants reason in their consulting process regarding the development of a clients IT-based internal recruitment system? The purpose with this paper is to investigate how an IT-consultant is reasoning in a consulting process and investigate whether consultants are using established models and methods in their work. We have chosen to work with a qualitative examination to attain our purpose. In our work gathering the empirical facts we have been working with a case study, an observation and a simulation exercise. The combination of these has made it possible to carry out the paper and produce the most correct data possible. Conclusion: We state that IT-consultants do not use any theory-based methods, they use process methods created by themselves and their company.

Producing a building is a long and complex process. It consists of several parts, from the feasibility study and design stage onto the construction and finally the management of the building. The design process is a critical part of the process where construction plans are made. The quality of the plans affect the production phase in great extent and faulty plans can pose a risk for extra costs for all parts in the process. The cost of producing dwellings has increased the last years and the detail design process is one of many phases where improvements can mean cost savings within the whole building process.This report aims to point at parts within the detail design process which could be more efficient, regarding communication, follow-up and time planning, and to give suggestions for improvements.
