För att äldre personer ska kunna utföra meningsfulla aktiviteter och känna gemenskap med andra krävs att de kan transportera sig. Det är viktigt för att bibehålla god hälsa och uppleva livskvalitet. Många äldre har svårighet att transportera sig med vanliga bussar på grund av funktionsnedsättningar som kommer med stigande ålder. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva vad En buss för alla har för betydelse för äldres delaktighet i samhället. Studiens design var kvalitativ, en målinriktad sampling gjordes och undersökningsgruppen valdes ut från förutbestämda kriterier.

The subject of this thesis is the application of Support Vector Machines on two totally different applications, facial expressions recognition and remote sensing.The basic idea of kernel algorithms is to transpose input data in a higher dimensional space, the feature space, in which linear operations on the data can be processed more easily. These operations in the feature space can be expressed in terms of input data thanks to the kernel functions. Support Vector Machines is a classifier using this kernel method by computing, in the feature space and on basis of examples of the different classes, hyperplanes that separate the classes. The hyperplanes in the feature space correspond to non linear surfaces in the input space.Concerning facial expressions, the aim is to train and test a classifier able to recognise, on basis of some pictures of faces, which emotion (among these six ones: anger, disgust, fear, joy, sad, and surprise) that is expressed by the person in the picture. In this application, each picture has to be seen has a point in an N-dimensional space where N is the number of pixels in the image.The second application is the detection of camouflage nets hidden in vegetation using a hyperspectral image taken by an aircraft.

Studien genomfördes under vintern 2012 med syfte att ta reda på hur personer med fysisk funktionsnedsättning upplever och uppfattar bemötandet i vården samt hur bemötandet kan förbättras. Personer med funktionsnedsättning är en stor grupp inom vården och det är därför av största vikt att ta deras upplevelser tas på allvar. Narrativa intervjuer med sex personer, i åldern 18-54 år, låg till grund för datamaterialet. Materialet analyserades sedan med hjälp av kvalitativ innehållsanalys enligt Graneheim och Lundman (2004). De slutgiltiga kategorierna blev Positiva upplevelser med sju underkategorier, Negativa upplevelser med 13 underkategorier och Önskvärt bemötande med två underkategorier som i sin tur delades in i tre underkategorier var.

När en grupp utvecklare jobbar med samma kodbas kan konflikter uppstå med avseende på implementationen av moduler eller delsystem som varje utvecklare individuellt jobbar på. Dessa konflikter måste snabbt lösas för att projektet ska fortskrida och inte stagnera. Utvecklare som sällan kommunicerar framför ofta okompatibla moduler eller delsystem som kan vara svåra eller omöjliga att integrera i kodbasen, detta leder ofta till s.k. ?integration hell? där det kan ta väldigt lång tid att anpassa ny kod till en befintlig kodbas. En strategi som man kan ta till är ?continuous integration?, ett arbetssätt som erbjuder en rad fördelar när man jobbar i grupp på en gemensam kodbas.

The aim with this paper is to investigate how the Social Democratic Party (SAP) deals with the question of economic migrants, or more specifically how the problem is represented by the Social Democratic Party, and how this representation has developed over time. The SAP's theory became recently contested by a competing theory that was caused by the predicted future demographic development in Sweden, combined with the EU's eastern expansion. The first factor contributed to the re-write of the theory, to a theory that saw economic migrants as a solution instead of a problem, in direct contrast to SAP's theory. The second factor was a direct threat to SAP's labour immigration policy. This leads to my second question, how did SAP respond to this pressure?The answers to these questions are achieved by using discourse analysis by applying a problem oriented theory on empirical material, constituting propositions, articles in mass media and parliamentary debates.

Internet är idag en av de största informationskällorna som används av en stor del av befolkningen. För att göra webbplatser tillgängliga för personer med funktionsnedsättningar är det viktigt att man som webbutvecklare är medveten om hur internet används av dessa grupper, vilka tekniska hjälpmedel de kan använda sig av och vilka problem som finns. En webbutvecklare som besitter dessa kunskaper kan anpassa design och kod som ökar tillgängligheten.I denna studie har vi genom en enkätundersökning tagit reda på hur Sveriges universitet och högskolor arbetar för att öka tillgängligheten på sin webbplats. Vi har också utfört en kodkontroll av förstasidan på alla lärosätens webbplatser för att se om koden uppfyller kraven på tillgänglighet.Resultatet på undersökningen är analyserat utifrån riktlinjerna inom WCAG 2.0 vilket ger en tydlig bild över hur de olika lärosätena har tillgänglighetsanpassat sina webbplatser. Genom undersökningen har vi funnit att de flesta universiteten och högskolorna arbetar för att öka tillgängligheten genom att jobba efter riktlinjer och rekommendationer, men det finns även brister som kan förbättras..

It may seem obvious that the urban space in our northern cities should be design to function and inspire throughout the whole year. This is not always the case. The urban space is often designed on a summer basis and the winter is regarded more as a problem then a resource and its potential remain unused. I have in this master thesis studied the impact of the winter on people and spaces and ponder on how to design functional and attractive places for winter. The project ends in a design concept for Broparken in Umeå on the theme "everyday winter day". The work with this thesis has given me, as a landscape architect, valuable experiences and filled a gap of knowledge that I had in this subject. I hope that this thesis can inspire Umeå kommun and others who are interested in how northern cities can benefit by its climate and develop towards a more complete city. The thesis begins with a chapter that present the subject from four different perspectives.

This examination work is about an marketing investigation of John Deere Moco 730/735 during the season year 2003. Moco 730 has an workingwidth on 3 m, and 735 has one with 3,5 m. The research results of 16 moco 730/735 are from intervju- and questionnaire made of the owners. The results also comes from intervju anwser from dealers which sold this mocos. The examination work shows comments and opinions from the customer after one seasons use. In the end of my examination work are all comments and opinions put together in a marketing analysis called swot-analys in Swedish. The analysis declare that the moco 730/735 is functional and have god quality. The future seems god for this kind of moco. The strength for this moco are god quality and the dealers god service support. The most important weakness about this moco are that the machine came out late on the market, compared to other mocos on the market. I think it´s important the have in mind that the customers are very John Deere faithful and this JD 730/735 is used for only one season..

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vilka faktorer som är betydelsefulla för att stödja personer med intellektuell funktionsnedsättning i att erhålla anställning. Fem personal som stödjer personer med intellektuell funktionsnedsättning i processen att erhålla anställning samt fyra personer som tar emot stöd avseende detta har intervjuats. Materialet har bearbetats utifrån en induktiv tematisk analysmetod med empowerment som teoretisk ansats. Huvudresultatet visade att det var viktigt att genomföra individuellt anpassad kartläggning samt stödja utifrån motivation. Handledaren bör arbeta med inkludering, ta parti för personer med intellektuell funktionsnedsättning, utveckla personens förmågor och självmedvetenhet.

Test for Auditory Comprehension of Language -3 is an American picturebasedtest developed to examine children?s auditory comprehension of language.The aim of the study was to create a translation and to examine if the test wouldcontribute to the information about a child´s language comprehension received bysimilar tests that are used today. In the present study the test items were translatedinto Swedish. The translation was evaluated with 32 children in three different agegroups at a school in central Gothenburg. A linguistic examination of thetranslation and a list of the grammatical structures that are tested were made.

Thesis completed by Johan Arvidsson, Alex Rasooli and Pontus Winroth, students at master program Product development and Design at the School of Engineering in Jönköping Sweden. The project comprises 30 ECTS credits and was carried out during the semester in the autumn of 2007.It was carried out in cooperation with Eksjöverken AB, subcontractor within the truck industry with special knowledge within the area of complicated machinery construction work. Job initiators at Eksjöverken were Mats Svanberg and Kjell Nygard. Dag Holmgren was acting as a tutor from the university. The task was to develop tools for trucks, primary toolboxes but in case of time also under run protection.

Syftet med examensarbetet var att beskriva hur personer med fibromyalgi upplevde att fritidsaktiviteter påverkades av smärta. Som datainsamlingsmetod valdes en intervju. Semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med tio kvinnor. Frågorna utformades från centrala begrepp i The Model of Human Occupation. Inklusionskriterierna var att deltagarna skulle ha diagnosen fibromyalgi och vara i arbetsför ålder.

As a designer, I find myself daily being confronted with choices which eventually can be summarizedas how we experience something. What?s the function, feeling, what colors should there be, shapes,materials, etc. Different parts will be combined to create an entirety. The only question is why we areaffected so differently by the same entirety.In this project I have examined how the relationship between a space and a product affects ourperception of a coherensy and what it is that makes us experience it so differently.I wanted to find a way to methodically explore the importance of the coherency for the experience ofa product and a space in relation to each other, in order to produce a material that can form the basisfor further work on the spatial context.I?ve looked into the psycological term central coherence and formed a scale that shows the humanabilities to perceive a context in various psychological conditions.
