The swedish rule concerning the treatment of employee stock-options have changed and the new wording of the rule will be applicable for the first time in 2010. The previous wording of the rule stated that the employee shall be taxed for the stock-option when moving abroad, even if the option is not exercised. The Swedish Skatteverket and Regeringsrätten have found that this rule is in conflict with the free movement of persons within the European Union. The new wording of the rule states that the employee shall be taxed when the option is excercised, no matter where the employee is situated. More elderly, fewer hands: The way forward Sustaining the care workforce as a political challenge ? A case study of?elderly care in Kalmar Municipality This study examines how Human Capital Theory and New Public?Management are reflected in the governance of eldercare in Kalmar?municipality. Based on document analysis and interviews with politicians?and senior officials, the study shows that investments in staff competence?and well-being coexist with efficiency-oriented management practices.?Rather than being contradictory, these approaches are often combined in?everyday governance. The study concludes that the main challenge is not?funding, but capacity and that sustainable eldercare depends on aligning?national goals with local conditions and strong human capital.

The aim of this project was to develop a product which gives one or more objects of daily use an additional function. Thru the creativity of children the object shall transform into a new source for play for pre-school children.The purpose of this work was to research how fantasy and free play of children could be enhanced. I wanted to know how I can motivate children to use their fantasy transforming objects into new sources for play.This was achieved by means of developing a number of different prototypes which I tested in Kindergarden. My observations lead to the development of a cloth-wrap for the chair which provides the required source for ongoing role-play. The chair suddenly transforms into a new landscape and multi-purpose object where children?s fantasy is stimulated and creative play is supported..

This paper discusses whether the main argument for European countries to stay out of the euro, i.e. the loss in stability from not having a national monetary policy that can be used for stabilization purposes, is still valid ten years after the introduction of the single currency. We analyse the stabilization performances of four largely comparable Nordic countries that have all chosen different levels of European economic integration. In retrospect, the so-called ?stabilization policy argument? seems surprisingly weak.

During the last few years the pedagogic perspective has been increasingly important for the coordinators as a way of adapting their work methods to the circumstances. The conditions for coordinators of public health differ between municipalities and thus their tasks and responsibilities may vary with the local structure. According to the literature there are several ways to conduct Health Promotion and it is in the hands of the coordinator to adjust the methods to fit local conditions. The purpose of the study was to examine what influences the coordinators of public health and how that affects their work methods.

The demand for animal products has increased in the last decades, especially for poultry and pork. Pork production has increased drastically globally, and also in Uganda. Thirty-one percent of Uganda´s population lives in poverty. Pig production is believed to play a crucial role in poverty alleviation, because of the ability to convert low quality feed into high quality protein together with high reproductive potential. African swine fever (ASF) is a lethal disease of domestic pigs often characterized by haemorrhagic fever and with mortality rates up to 100%. The disease is endemic in most sub-Saharan countries and since 2007 in the Russian Federation and Caucasus area.

According to the curriculum Sweden?s elementary school is to educate students in subjects such as "Listening, debating and argumentation". I ask myself if this is actually something that every student is being provided with. The purpose of this study is to gain additional information about children?s participation in the classroom.

This Master?s thesis concerns the question why a public library establishes a special room for young people and how the young people can influence the activities. I have made interviews with two librarians and four teenagers from a reference group. I have also made an observation of the room. The most important theories are Pierre Bourdieu?stheory of symbolic capital and Mats Lieberg?s theory of free zones.

Att arbeta i utomhusmiljön är ett processinriktat arbetssätt där miljön blir till en medupptäckare i barnens lek, lärande och utveckling. Det utmanar pedagogens roll och ställer krav på de miljöer som förskolan erbjuder.SYFTE:Vårt syfte är att undersöka hur verksamma pedagoger i förskolan resonerar kring användandet av utomhuspedagogik och utomhusmiljö som ett pedagogiskt verktyg för barns utveckling och lärande.METOD:Vår studie utgår från en kvalitativ metod.

Bakgrund: En närstående är en av patienten själv vald person att finnas närmast till hands. Att vårda en familjemedlem är en utmaning, inte minst om familjemedlemmen har en demenssjukdom. Den närstående tar på sig ett ansvar som kan vara svårt att lämna ifrån sig. Det är av stor vikt att närstående som vårdar någon i hemmet får den hjälp och det stöd som behövs, såväl från släktingar som från vänner, bekanta och vården.Syfte: Syftet med studien var att få kunskap om upplevelsen av att vara närstående till en familjemedlem med demenssjukdom.Metod: Studien baserades på en kvalitativ ansats där sex självbiografiska böcker skrivna av närstående till demenssjuka familjemedlemmar lästes. Materialet har analyserats med hjälp av en kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Resultat: Resultatet visade att närstående kände ensamhet i vårdandet av sin familjemedlem samt att stöd från övrig familj, släkt, vänner och vården var viktigt för att de närstående skulle orka med vardagen.Slutsats: Att vara närstående till en demenssjuk familjemedlem kan innebära ett lidande i form av sorg och ensamhet.

När en person får en kronisk sjukdom påverkas de närstående, som också har behov av stöd för att hantera den nya situationen. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva hur närstående till personer med allvarlig kronisk sjukdom upplevde att få stöd. Studien är baserad på 16 vetenskapliga studier som är analyserade med kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys. Analysen resulterade slutligen i fem kategorier: att någon finns till hands när det behövs, att bli sedd och bekräftad, att växa i rollen som vårdare, att känna gemenskap med andra och att få veta för att kunna förstå. Det fanns ett stort behov av stöd både professionellt och stöd från familj och vänner hos närstående för att orka fortsätta vårda samt att kunna hantera sin situation.

Människor tenderar att minnas utförda uppgifter och återkalla dem bättre än när de enbart kodar samma uppgifter muntligt, även känd som enactment effekt. Syftet med den här studien var att undersöka om enactment effecten ökar under en ny inkodning som aldrig tidigare utförts inom paradigmet ? Subject-Experimenter-Performed-Task. Sammanlagt medverkade 56 personer i studien, 32 killar och 24 tjejer i åldrarna 10-18. En grupp lågstadiebarn och en grupp gymnasieungdomar testades i VT, EPT, SPT och SEPT betingningar.

Uppsatsen byggde på en kvalitativ undersökning och syftet var att undersökavilken inverkan boxningen kan ha på ungdomar. Vår empiri samlades in genomsex semistrukturerade intervjuer och två icke-deltagande observationer. Vår studiebyggde på tre frågeställningar och de var, vilken inverkan kan boxningen ha påungdomars liv? Bidrar boxningen till en social dimension? Tar boxningsklubbenett socialt ansvar för sina aktiva ungdomar? Vi analyserade vår empiri genom attanvända oss av en tematisk analysmetod. Vi använde oss av ett abduktivtangreppssätt.
