Leadership in organizations plays a crucial role in promoting employee motivation. Different leadership styles have been shown to affect motivation in various ways. The purpose of this report is to establish a deeper understanding of the relationship between different leadership styles and motivation according to Self-Determination Theory. The report also aims to highlight potential similarities and differences in the perceptions of leaders and employees in various industries, regarding motivation as defined by Self-Determination Theory. Based on a case study, it includes interviews with eight leaders and eight employees.

The project has involved the development of two kinds of shooting targets in partnership with Marcus Bergkvist and Christopher Åkerblom. The project from the client was divided into two parts. This thesis discusses solutions for hands-on transport, development of tripods and an overall design. The second thesis affect resetting systems for the products.The work was done with a process and methodology based on design perspectives. This process has involved the search of relevant data which has provided the platform and opportunity for appropriate and purposeful design work.Concept development has been done using hand sketches and Photoshop, where a simple visualization of different concepts for the tripods has been produced.

The purpose of this case study was to examine consequences of a limited social citizenship among young adults in the refugee camp of DeHeishe in Palestine. In order to receive a profounder understanding of conditions and structures that affects young adult?s experiences of social citizenship, status in the community and practices a case study was carried out during April 2013.The data has been collected by triangulation, conducted through nine interviews, 52 survey forms and several observations in DeHeishe camp. The data was analyzed through the theoretical approach of social citizenship, intersectionality and the concept of ?empower-ment?.

A B S T R A C TP U R P O S E / A I M : The main objective of this essay is to investigate the difference of visual representation between girls and boys in two mail order catalogues - Ellos and La Redoute. I want to examine how girls and boys interact in the pictures of the catalogues and what kind of activities are going on. Do these activities differentiate between the girls and the boys? Does the representation differ if the children are in a group or by themselves? A second objective is to compare these representations between the two catalogues.M A T E R I A L / M E T H O D : Two mail order catalogues are used, Ellos (Swedish) and La Redoute (originally French). The material consists of 345 pictures of children.

This study examined the factors influencing dairy farmers´ decisions to invest in automated milking systems (AMS). The problem studied involves uncertainty, information and complexity for dairy farmers in specific decision contexts. The frame of reference in the thesis combines contingency theory and decision theory and is used in a qualitative analysis of a set interview with dairy farmers who have recently bought an AMS and salespersons from Delaval, one of the AMS suppliers.The aim of this study is to develop an understanding of the decision making processes of dairy farmers, and in particular to identify which types of factors influence the outcome of an investment decision in the technological development of a farm.The study uses Thompsons` (1967) theory about the structure that organizations develop to handle the input of information. Thus, interest is focused on how a farm business structure handles information in the AMS decision, investigating the differences in information with Delaval?s "feed first principle" system and Lely?s "free cow traffic" system.The results of the qualitative interviews with the dairy farmers who bought an AMS show that there are three important factors that influence the outcome: employees, suppliers and the owner.

Jag har valt att skriva en didaktisk uppsats med inriktning mot religion och elever på fordonsprogrammet. Ämnet låg nära till hands eftersom jag arbetar i skolan med företrädesvis elever på fordonsprogrammet. Majoriteten av dessa elever är pojkar. Jag saknar religionsdidaktiskt material, speciellt sådant som rör de yrkesförberedande programmen på gymnasieskolan. Att undervisa elever i ett ämne som de själva har svårt att förstå ?nyttan av?.

Beslutsfattandet är en av de viktigaste aktiviteterna för människan. Att fatta beslut i naturliga, komplexa, dynamiska och stressiga miljöer där målen är skiftande kan vara problematiskt. Ett forskningsparadigm som ligger nära till hands för sådana situationer är Naturalistic Decision Making (NDM). Inom NDM talas det om eventuella sätt att stödja beslutsfattaren. Ett sätt att göra det är genom att konstruera beslutsstödsystem.

Rädslan för nålar kan medföra ett flertal konsekvenser för individen. Bland annat kan personen komma att undvika sjukvården vilket kan innebära hälsorisker. SYFTE: Syftet är att belysa upplevelsen hos vuxna patienter med stickrädsla eller nålfobi samt hur sjuksköterskan kan bemöta och stödja dessa patienter.

Bakgrund: En närstående är en av patienten själv vald person att finnas närmast till hands. Att vårda en familjemedlem är en utmaning, inte minst om familjemedlemmen har en demenssjukdom. Den närstående tar på sig ett ansvar som kan vara svårt att lämna ifrån sig. Det är av stor vikt att närstående som vårdar någon i hemmet får den hjälp och det stöd som behövs, såväl från släktingar som från vänner, bekanta och vården.Syfte: Syftet med studien var att få kunskap om upplevelsen av att vara närstående till en familjemedlem med demenssjukdom.Metod: Studien baserades på en kvalitativ ansats där sex självbiografiska böcker skrivna av närstående till demenssjuka familjemedlemmar lästes. Materialet har analyserats med hjälp av en kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Resultat: Resultatet visade att närstående kände ensamhet i vårdandet av sin familjemedlem samt att stöd från övrig familj, släkt, vänner och vården var viktigt för att de närstående skulle orka med vardagen.Slutsats: Att vara närstående till en demenssjuk familjemedlem kan innebära ett lidande i form av sorg och ensamhet.

This study intends to investigate whether underpricing and the arbitrage opportunity exists on Aktietorget which is a smaller venue.

På senare år har dagkirurgi blivit allt vanligare i Sverige. Dagkirurgi innebär att patienten kommer på morgonen för en planerad operation och får sedan gå hem igen, samma dag. Att bli opererad är ofta förknippat med oro för den som det berör. När denna oro inte blir tagen på allvar av sjukvårdspersonalen kan det leda till ett vårdlidande för patienten. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var därför att belysa patienters oro i samband med dagkirurgi.

Syftet med denna kvalitativa studie är att belysa hur brukare som har kontakt med socialtjänsten på grund av missbruksproblematik upplever och beskriver sitt inflytande över den egna behandlingen. Studien utgår från den hermeneutiska forskningstraditionen och har en kvalitativ ansats - sex semistrukturerade intervjuer har genomförts med brukare som har kontakt med socialtjänsten på grund av missbruksproblematik. Resultatet tolkades utifrån den nyinstitutionella teorin och visade att brukarna upplever att de har inflytande i sin kontakt med socialtjänsten, men på vilket sätt och i vilken omfattning varierar och påverkas till stor del av vilken socialsekreterare brukaren träffar. När vård enligt LVM ligger nära till hands upplever brukarna att kommunikation och information brister från socialsekreterarens sida. Samtliga brukare framhåller att kommunikation och delaktighet underlättar behandlingsarbetet och ökar den egna motivationen.

About 29 000 different services was given by the Swedish welfare state to children with disabilities within the ages 0-22 years before October first in the year 2008. Studies about children with disabilities and their experiences of their situation have rarely been done and it is therefore difficult to know how they think and feel about their lives. Both Swedish law and the UN:s convention about children?s rights states that children have the right to tell their opinion in matters that are of their concern. Thus, we don´t know much about if and how the Swedish welfare state maintain this right towards children with disabilities.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att diskutera det så kallade equity premium puzzle. Jaganalyserar teoretiskt den intertemporala konsumtionsbaserade CAPM (C-CAPM),sammanställer en del av litteraturdiskussionen som finns på området samt empiriskttestar C-CAPM på svensk data. Fenomenet equity premium puzzle innebär attöveravkastningen på aktier är så stor att det inte stämmer med den ekonomiska teorin.Enligt teorin beror C-CAPMs riskpremie på kovariansen mellan konsumtionen ochaktieavkastningen. Litteraturen visar att forskare inte har lyckats förklara equitypremium puzzle genom att ändra antagandena i grundmodellen. Den empiriskaundersökningen visar att equity premium puzzle även uppkommer på svensk data..
