Jag har utvärderat Umeåregionens bibliotekssamarbete. Samarbetet innebär att biblioteken i kommunerna Bjurholm, Nordmaling, Robertsfors, Umeå, Vindeln och Vännäs har en gemensam bibliotekskatalog och att låntagare har ett lånekort som gäller för hela regionen. Låntagare kan låna och lämna tillbaka media på samtliga bibliotek i regionen.                                                                                          Syftet med utvärderingen är att kartlägga låneflödena mellan biblioteken i regionen för att få kunskap för att utveckla medieförsörjningsstrategier och ?metoder på biblioteken. Utvärderingen innehåller en översiktlig kartläggning av låneströmmarna i hela regionen samt en mer detaljerad kartläggning av låneströmmarna mellan Umeå stadsbibliotek och Ålidhemsbiblioteket (Umeå kommun).

Abstract ? Noblesse oblige: a roleplaying gameDuring the 17th-century the Swedish nobility was forced to deal with a number of new challenges. They reached the height of their power, but also began their downfall. How did the nobility?s ideal come to be in the face of this? Can we in these ideals find the duties and obligations of the nobility? And if we can, how can a roleplaying game be made out of the historical facts? A roleplaying game meant for educational means, well suited for the classroom and teachers, capable of stimulating the young minds and offering them an in depth understanding of how the nobility?s minds moved.

SammanfattningDenna uppsats har som syfte att undersöka om och hur lärare bedriver utomhuspedagogik i Sydafrika samt hur lärarna definierar begreppen natur och miljö. Undersökningen skedde på en skola i en svart kåkstad i Östra Kapprovinsen i Sydafrika, genom intervjuer med tre lärare i årskurs 4. Respondenterna fick bland annat frågan om vad utomhuspedagogik är och gav i första hand svaren lek och sport. Deras avsikt med utomhuspedagogik var i första hand att aktivera eleverna under fritiden.I litteraturen är begreppet definierat bland annat som en didaktisk metod som handlar om att inte bara läsa fakta utan att genom sinnen och görande få kunskap genom praktiska övningar i utomhusmiljön. Både litteratur och respondenterna tog upp att utomhuspedagogiken är ett sätt att få tillfälle till rörelse och alternativ metod för att ta in kunskap.

With a hermeneutical method using narratology this thesis is interpreting the auteure Lars von Trier´s discussed movie Antichrist. On one hand within the limits of the hermeneutic Paul Riceours analysis of structure is used to reconstruct the narrative of the film out of the different part of discourses that I have construed in my first reading to find out a deeper comprehension of the relation between the characters and their relations to the different discourses. On the other hand the discourses which extracts out of His and Hers actions and statements are related to the clues that I´ve found out from interviews with von Trier regarding Antichrist where he, among other things, touches upon philosophical work of Friedrich Nietzsche and his own disregard about protestantism and religion. All in all this first phase of interpretation is termed the different horizons which I finally interprete and coalesce with my subjects comprehension on a metadiegetic and meta-metadiegetic level. By this a ?fusion of horizons? in the sense of Hans-Georg Gadamer can take place, which directly leads into the big scene of Relevations.

AbstractIn this theory-testing case study I will analyze and discuss the Gulf War which took place in the Middle East in 1990-1991 and has become an important topic for discussion among IR scholars in the post-Cold War era. The events that led up to the Gulf War, as well as the war itself, will be analyzed from two different perspectives; Realism and Liberalism. Within these differing theoretical frameworks I have chosen to use elements from, on the one hand, Classical and Structural Realism, and on the other hand, Idealism and Liberal Institutionalism. Focusing on these specific schools of thought I aim to derive essential, ?key?, concepts that will then be tested against empirical fact.The overall purpose of this study is to try to logically explain, through detailed analysis, the actions of the actors involved in the Gulf War and, in addition, why this war ever occurred.

Detta examensarbete handlar om högläsning och högläsning som ett pedagogiskt verktygi skolan. Syftet med arbetet är att se om och hur högläsning används i skolan och hureleverna påverkas av högläsning. Jag har använt mig utav kvalitativa intervjuer när jagundersökt hur fyra pedagoger ser på högläsningen. Intervjuerna har genomförts på enskola i en mellanstor stad i Sverige. Jag har analyserat och studerat relevant litteratur ochforskning om ämnet och resultatet visar hur pedagogernas uppfattning förhåller sig tilllitteraturen och tidigare forskning.

Att vara sjuksköterska och vara på internationell militär tjänstgöring innebär stora utmaningar. De utsätts för livshotande faror, samtidigt som de skall ta hand om svårt traumatiserade patienter. Denna litteraturstudie syftar till att beskriva sjuksköterskors upplevelser under internationell militär tjänstgöring. Sjuksköterskor på internationella militära insatser tillhör två olika yrkeskategorier, soldater och sjukvårdspersonal. Deras primära uppgift i fält är att ta hand om skadade patienter, men det kan uppstå situationer där de kan bli tvingade till att försvara sig med sitt vapen och potentiellt skada en annan människa.

AbstraktVi har i denna studie haft ambitionen att närma oss en förståelse för invandrade anhöriga som tar hand om sina äldre närstående, deras egna sociala verklighet, med dess handlingar, normer och värderingar. Syftet har också varit att försöka förstå motivet till varför personer med invandrarbakgrund vårdar sina närstående. Till sist har vi även strävat att få kunskap om vad de anhöriga skulle vilja att den offentliga sektorn skulle kunna hjälpa dem med i deras vardagssituation. Våra frågeställningar var: Hur ser den sociala verkligheten ut för anhörigvårdare? Vilka faktorer påverkar valet att bli anhörigvårdare? Hur upplever anhörigvårdaren den offentliga sektorn? I vår studie är det den anhörige som är i fokus.

The purpose of this study was to do a narrative survey of the discussion about violence in partner relationships that is held in research literature. The question at issue was: How do research literature discuss violence in partner relationships, with focus on heterosexual relationships? The eight primary documents that have been chosen are written by researchers, professional therapists, National Counsil for Women's protection (Nationellt Råd för Kvinnofrid, NRK) and Swedish Government Official Report (Statens Offentliga Utredningar, SOU). To investigate the theories, discover the similarities and differences between them and how they can complement each other, the documents statements has been analyzed with a dialectic-hermeneutic approach and social constructionism and discourse theory.The research findings showed that the gender perspective theory, the psychodynamic theory and the social psychology theory have a few things in common, but that they on the whole are different and contradict each other. The gender perspective theory dominates the discussion but needs to be combined with the other theories to give a more all-embracing understanding.

This essay will examine in which way festival tourism can affect the physical location of a festival and to operationalize this we implemented a case study of the music festival Storsjöyran. Storsjöyran is a Swedish music festival held annually in the city of Östersund and since the festival, with the accompanying festival week, attract up to 300 000 visitors annually, we wanted to see what impact the festival contributed to from a development perspective of the destination. The method for gathering data has consisted of both qualitative and quantitative approaches and the data was collected via interviews and questionnaires. We also presented various theories about festival tourism and destination development, as well as previous research on urban festivals. The conclusion is that Storsjöyran contributes to a variety of factors which can help Östersund to a destination development and increased tourism.

Today, there is no uniform definition of what an ethical fund is. Fund management companies choose themselves what they believe is ethical and not. The lack of the definition makes it difficult for consumers to understand why these funds are special compared to other funds. The purpose of this study is to examine three Swedish companies; KPA Pension, Swedbank Robur and Folksam, to obtain a clearer picture of the concept ethical funds and its definition. The study describes each company's view of Ethics and how they may affect other companies to work for a more sustainable world.

I takt med den digitala utvecklingen och dess framfart är det relevant att som butik förstå konsumenters interaktion med digitala bildskärmar och hur dessa bildskärmar kan förmedla information, som i slutändan kan locka till sig konsumenter. Det är i och med detta också väsentligt för butikerna och dess medarbetare att få en förståelse kring köpprocessen då vi anser att denna går hand i hand med konsumenters interaktion av skyltning genom digitala bildskärmar. I denna uppsats presenteras det hur konsumenters interaktion med digitala bildskärmar sker och hur konsumenten tar till sig den information som flödar via detta medium. Vidare presenteras köpprocessens alla steg och där en fördjupning i steget informationssökning kopplas till konsumenters interaktion med digitala bildskärmar. Med hjälp av kvalitativa studier där intervjuer varit en central del besvaras den forskningsfråga som presenteras och som i samband med uppsatsens syfte ska ge svar på det centrala i uppsatsen såsom köpprocessen, informationssökning och digitala bildskärmar i butik.Hur går konsumenters köpprocess till och hur påverkas konsumenten i ett informationssökande skede vid interaktion med bildskärmar i butik?Uppsatsen fann en tydlig koppling till en konsuments interaktion till digitala bildskärmar i butik och där en konsuments köpprocess hade stor betydelse för interaktionen.

Networking is an important part, for organizations, in the recruitment process. This since the emergence of Internet networking has become more common and the organizations finds that networking is applied more frequently in the recruitment process. Organizations have noticed that networking often is a more cost efficient option compared to traditional recruitment. Since networking in the recruitment process has increased, we intend to investigate if and how it affects the composition of organizations. This thesis aims to examine networking in the recruiting process, and aims to make no differences between networking offline and online.

The term ?health maintenance? was introduced in the 1960?s. A common conception nowadays is that health maintenance is always beneficial. Gestaldo (1997) meant that health education on one hand could give the individual a feeling of autonomy, but on the other hand also put the individual in an inferior position where the teacher represented ?the truth?.

Vårt syfte och intresse var att undersöka hur rörelse prioriteras inomhus på några olika förskolor i vår kommun. För att avgränsa vårt arbete har vi fokuserat oss på rörelse i lekhallen.Vi har genom ostrukturerade observationer och kvalitativa intervjuer med både pedagoger och barn på tre olika förskolor tagit reda på om rörelse prioriteras inomhus och i så fall hur? Resultatet visar utifrån frågeställningar, observationer och intervjuer med både pedagoger och barn att rörelse prioriteras utomhus. Förskolans lekhallar inbjuder till rörelse men rörelseytan är begräsad, lekhallen används både som matsal och för mer stillasittande lekar. Överlag uppmuntras barn inte till rörelse inomhus.I första hand är avsikten med vårt arbete att vi som blivande förskollärare ska inse och förstå vikten av barns behov av rörelse och hur den behöver prioriteras.
