En människas religiösa övertygelser påverkas starkt av hennes uppväxtmiljö och relation till föräldrarna. I ett alltmer heterogent samhälle står såväl den kristna kyrkan som kristna familjer inför utmaningar som tidigare generationer inte har mött. Förevarande arbete avser belysa kristna föräldrars reflektioner kring och erfarenheter av föräldraskap i allmänhet, samt andlig vägledning av barnen.Studien har utgått från ett bekvämlighetsurval med svenska och engelskspråkiga deltagare, och datainsamlingen har skett genom en kvalitativ epostenkät. Innehållsliga teman har identifierats, och deras inbördes förhållanden undersökts, med hjälp av Grounded theory och frekvensanalys.Kristna föräldrars uppfattning om föräldraskap harmonierar i stora drag med rådande normer i samhället. Man anser vidare att kristna föräldrar har ett ansvar att vägleda sina barn in i den kristna tron, även om diskursen kring andlig vägledning är något tvetydig.

This paper describes what some 9th grade students think of their sex education in school, especially when it comes to gender, sexual identity, norms and deviation. I have been using group interviews in two different schools, two groups per school. The result of the students' answers have been analysed on the basis of queer theory focusing on gender and sexual identity. The result of the study shows that the students consider their sexual education to be lacking, especially when it comes to gender, sexual identity, norms and deviation. Another conclusion of the analysis is that a sex education grounded in queer theory would be more inclusive..

I dagens samhälle, med förändringar i organisation och arbetsätt, verkar de sociala behoven hos personalen få ökande utrymme. På allt fler ställen, till exempel i tidningsartiklar, platsannonser och på hemsidor ser man att företag erbjuder sin personal sociala aktiviteter utanför arbetet. I denna rapport redovisas en undersökning där syftet med de sociala aktiviteterna har undersökts. Dessutom beskrivs den sociala arbetsmiljön och den upplevda effekten av aktiviteterna, ur både personalens och ledningens perspektiv. För att kunna undersöka syftet med dessa har hjälp tagits av tidigare forskning som bland annat organisationsteorier, gruppteorier samt systemteorier.

This paper exposes the problems and challenges organizations face when integrating aged systems, web based systems and web services. The paper focuses on how people with different titles in an organization experience systems integration and the factors that contribute to project failure or success. The research methodology used in this is Grounded theory and the resulting theory of this paper has taken form through the coding of transcribed interviews, which have gone through a constant comparing to other theories in the area of interest, mostly articles about success factors in system integration. The resulting outcome is a success model aimed to describe the underlying indicators to achieve project success.The success model consists of three factors that contribute to success in integration projects. The factors are: globalization, governance and balance.

Public opinion has increasingly become a political force in the European integration process. At present, it appears that the people?s attitude towards the European integration is relatively skeptical. How can we expect that the attitude towards European integration will evolve in the future? This paper tests the extent to which diffusion theory can serve as a model to explain the development of attitudes to European integration policy in Sweden from 1999 until 2009.

Sandberg, Karin (2007) Vad händer i klassrummet? En observationsstudie av samspelet mellan lärare och elever. (What happens in the classroom? Observations of the interaction between teachers and students.) Skolutveckling och ledarskap, Lärarutbildningen 60p, Malmö högskola. Syftet med arbetet är att studera vilka situationer, beteenden och/eller strategier i klassrummet som förefaller vara avgörande för om lektionen ger upphov till uppmärksamma, engagerade och delaktiga gymnasieelever. Dessutom prövas en analysmetod, Grundad teori (Grounded theory), för att se om detta är en möjlig och tillämpar analysmetod för att uppnå syftet.

Inledning: Frågeställningar runt sexualitet är ofta ett känsligt ämne och kan därmed vara svåra att hantera i psykoterapi. Många psykoterapeuter upplever sig försiktiga avseende ämnesområdet, båda i att samtala, använda sexuella termer, hantera känslor av attraktion både i det verkliga mötet samt i överföring och motöverföring.  Samtidigt har sexualiteten som företeelse försvunnit ur kliniska falldragningar.Syftet med studien var att belysa om och hur erfarna psykoterapeuter var beredda att möta patienters behov av att bearbeta sin sexualitet under psykoterapeutiska möten.Metod: Utifrån ett bekvämlighetsurval genomfördes semistrukturerade intervjuer med sju legitimerade psykologer/psykoterapeuter, som analyserades utifrån riktlinjerna för klassisk Grounded theory. Metoden valdes för att belysa ett subjektivt upplevt huvudproblem och hur psykoterapeuterna hanterade detta.Resultatet visade att psykoterapeuterna var beredda att bearbeta sexualitet med sina patienter om behovet fanns, utan att belasta patienten mer än vad han/hon tålde. För att göra detta möjligt menade psykoterapeuterna att det var viktigt att vara lyhörd och intuitiv i situationen.

This master thesis examines online reading groups with swedish participants. The aim is, by way of introduction, to investigate what kind of online reading groups that exist and how they work. The overall question of the thesis is: how do a conversation about books on the Internet look like? The theory used is Grounded theory and this is a methodology which has influenced the hole structure of the study. Grounded theory apply that issues and hypothesis must be created from the collected material, and the author collected for this reason material in the form of survey answers, email-conversations, blogmaterial and articles to draw up exact issues based on this material.The material was sorted into four different categories; social reading, reading fellowship, virtual freedom and anonymity and the issues were formulated according to this categories.

The purpose of the thesis is to examine the thoughts and opinions of a selected group of people regarding the terrorist attack that occurred in Stockholm 12/11-2010. This study has been conducted through the method of focus group interview. The study was methodologically and theoretically inspired by Grounded theory, which simply means that the participants' opinions have formed the theory of the study. As a result of the study, we can see that the main focus of the discussion held by the participants was through a we and them thinking-perspective. The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to study how the comics have been evaluated and debated in the Swedish library press from 1960 to 1999. Have they been seen as something good or something bad? What arguments have been put forward against them or in their defense? What kinds of development can be seen over time? The point of doing this, is of course that evaluation always plays a crucial part in library work. By studying how a "new" medium or art form has been evaluated in the past, we can hopefully gain a greater understanding of how today?s newcomers should best be treated.

The purpose of this thesis is to bring insight into and understanding of how the market for emission rights in Europe currently works and what problems it is currently facing. The research can be said to be based on positive theory, in the sense that it is grounded more on empirical theory on the subject than normative theory. Furthermore, a qualitative approach to generating data has been used. This has led to a pattern mode of explanation, where understanding a unique and complex field is the focus. The theoretical perspective utilized in this thesis is mainly based on empirical research on similar market-based systems for emission control.

Background: Type 2-diabetes is now a public health problem, which constitutes 85-90 percent of diabetes care. The district nurse´s role in treating a diabetic (/person with diabetes) does not only comprise pure medical treatment but also support, advice and training to the individual. In our profession as nurses, we have found that medical knowledge in patients with Typ 2-diabetes is not always enough to obtain changes in lifestyles.Aim: The purpose of this study was to investigate the illness perceptions in patients with Type 2-diabetes and their impact on health behavior.Method: This qualitative study used Grounded theory as a method. Results: The informants described in the interviews, their perceptions of living with Type 2-diabetes. The analysis revealed the main category periodic health behavior built up on and related to five categories developed in data: preventive health awareness, guilt, confidence in medical treatment, motivational problems and periods of insight.Conclusion: This study contributes to understanding of patients with Type 2 - diabetes their beliefs about illness and how it affects everyday lives.Keywords: Believes, District nurses, Groundey Theory, Illness perception, Type 2-diabetes.

The purpose with our thesis is to understand and explain the advantages and disadvantages there is with the self scanning system. The advantages and disadvantages we will highlight from three different angels; the store management perspective, the staff perspective and the customer perspective. These three perspectives will together form an overall perspective over the advantages and disadvantages as the self scanning system has contributed with. Finally we will highlight the differences and resemblances we have found between the perspectives.Through a qualitative approach we have gathered data to our thesis. This master thesis aims to examine how public libraries in Sweden are practically and ideologically equipped to deal with e-books, outside of the dominant distributor Elib. The study also aims to find out what?s required of the book market and the public libraries to make further progress in the question of e-books. In Sweden e-books are still representing only a small amount of all the library loans and an even smaller amount of the commercial book market.The methodological and theoretical ground for the thesis is Grounded theory, and the survey is based on interviews with publishers, librarians and distributors.The conclusions of this thesis are that the public libraries lack resources to invest in e-books, and that they also lack in knowledge about the media and its readers. It also exposes that both internal and external collaboration efforts need to be further developed.
