Syfte/Purpose: Syftet med denna uppsats är att studera hur statliga myndigheter definierar och följer upp sina prestationer, i förhållande till uppsatta mål för verksamheten./ The main purpose with this thesis is to research how government agencies define their performance indicators and measure them up in relationship to the goals. Metod/Method: Vi har genomfört en kvalitativ fallstudie, där vi har utfört sex semistandardiserade intervjuer på Blekinge Tekniska Högskola och Boverket. Det material som vi har fått från intervjuerna samt annat sekundärt material, utgör grunden för vår analys och slutsats./ We have done a qualitative case study, where we did six semi standard interviews at Blekinge Institute of Technology and Boverket. The material we got from the interviews and other secondary material make up the ground, for our analysis and conclusion.

Studiens syfte var att beskriva orsaker till korttidssjukfrånvaro 1-7 dagar hos kommun-anställda. Vidare undersöktes om det fanns någon skillnad av angiven orsak mellan två perioder samt om det fanns någon skillnad mellan kön, ålder och förvaltning när det gäller sjukanmälningsorsak dag 1-7. Studiegruppen bestod av anställda inom en västsvensk kommun med 1910 anställda. Metoden var en kvantitativ tvärsnittstudie med deskriptiv design. Datainsamlingen skedde med hjälp av registrering angående sjukanmälningsorsak via telefonkontakt med företagshälsovården.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the real aggregated consumption and empirically determine its exogenous variables. A multiplicative analysis is done in the context of government stabilization policy to find out how policymakers can execute a stimulus package that will bring the best multiplicative effect to the economy The conclusion of the study is that real income, net financial assets and real-estate price index are all statistically significant. An effective expansive fiscal policy is a public-financed investment in the private sector. Coordination is going to be crucial when stimulus package is developed due to the fact that leakage in the form of imports will prevent the expected multiplicative effect..

This final thesis is a basic inquiry into a countryside programme for the municipality of Hässleholm. By interviewing people who live in the countryside in the municipality of Hässleholm I?ve tried to get a picture of how the thoughts on development of countryside are. Trough these interviews I?ve also tried to find out how people on the countryside defines the concept of countryside.

The Swedish language has for over six hundred years been under influence of foreign languages. Nowadays, it is the English language that undoubtedly affects it in largest scale - even though both French and especially German have had a serious influence through history. In an inquiry by behalf of the Swedish Government, named Mål i mun ? förslag till handlingsprogram för svenska språket (2002), one of the conclusions was that journalism is an important area that has to be under linguistic supervision to avoid a gradual weakening of the Swedish language. It is also a known fact that the Swedish sports writers has a tendency to use a lot of English words, even though there are equivalent Swedish ones applicable.

The Swedish alcohol market has for many years been in the hands of the government. The question of the monopoly, its being or not being, has for a long time engaged both Swedish citizens and politicians. Since joining the European Union it has also been on the European agenda, trying to adapt Sweden to the more liberal alcohol politic in Europe.The suppliers find themselves acting on a completely different market than a market based on free competition. The suppliers are faced with one retail channel to the stores which creates dependence and uneven power balance towards the retailer. In addition to this, their marketing activities are strictly limited due to the laws and claims.

Äldre fastigheter ger staden ett mångfacetterat uttryck och skapar fysiska kopplingar till historien. De är dock ofta energislukande med dåligt värmeisolerade klimatskal och omoderna installationer. Går det att renovera äldre byggnader så att de blir energisnåla och uppfyller samtidens byggnormer? Innebär en sådan renovering att dess arkitektoniska kvaliteter går förlorade? Uppsatsen utgår ifrån kvarteret Oket som består av olika byggnadsdelar uppförda 1910, 1927, 1938, 1945 och 1970. Byggnaderna inventeras med avseende på konstruktion och arkitektonisk stil.

The increasing road traffic in Sweden will require investments in the infrastructure that the tax withdrawal of today will not allow according to a new government report, SOU 2006:33. An existing willingness to pay for those investments has therefore become an alternative to increases in taxation to be able to cover the costs. A proposal to let the willingness to pay, alternatively increases in taxation that act proportional, decide how a cost is distributed can be said to be related, but not fully correspond, with different theories of justice described by Robert Nozick and John Rawls. It can therefore be interesting to see how the two different theories of justice are edified and how they distribute a joint cost. The aim of the first part of the thesis is to present and criticize Rawls' and Nozick's theories of justice in a common formulated economic model.

Undersökningen behandlar Rudolf Abelins författarskap från slutet av 1880-talet och fram till mitten av 1910-talet. Det finns en avsaknad av forskning, om Abelin, som tar hänsyn till samtidskontexten och samtliga av hans publicerade verk. Uppsatsen åsyftar att visa hur samtliga böcker skall uppfattas som en helhet. De böcker som studeras är främst mönsterböcker i trädgårdsskötsel, men där ventileras också ett större system av idéer och värderingar. Litteraturen placeras i kontexten av den kulturkris som uppkom­mer när moderniteten gör sitt intåg i Sverige.  Modernitetskritiska rörelser, som egna­hemsrörelsen och kolonirörelsen, jämförs med de idéer som presenteras i Abelins litte­ratur, för att på så vis försöka skapa en större förståelse för hur hans såg på sin samtid och framtid.Uppsatsen påvisar att det finns stora likheter mellan Abelin och de modernitetskri­tiska rörelserna, och att det är en utveckling som skett över tid.

Like several of her female peers, Marie Under (1883 - 1980) has been denied the international acclaim she deserves. The earliest text on Marie Under in swedish told of her greatness, but in classical fallic maner reduced her poetic production by marking it with pathological symtoms. Though latter texts by author Enel Melberg have put a feminist perspective on Unders work, the theoretical complexity of her poetic images and language, and its polemic relation to contemporary literary currents, has yet to be recognised. This study will seek to portrait Marie Under and her poetry in this new light.The study moves from an installation of Marie Under in the modern discourse she so far has been estranged from, to an analysis of her earlier works (in the 1910?s and 1920?s).

Det är en kvalitativ studie där både observationer och semi-strukturerade intervjuer har genomförts.Slutsatser: De verktyg som används är utställningar utanför butik och i skyltfönstren, färger, belysning, personalens bemötande, bakgrundsmusik, produkt och komplement dofter, smakprover, känsel via beröring och atmosfär. Alla dessa ovanstående faktorer bidrar till sinnesupplevelser på differentierade sätt beroende på hur de tillämpas och hur många sinnen som interagerar. Till vilken utsträckning dessa används och hur pass kreativa butikerna är i implementeringen blir resultaten olika.

Denna rapport handlar om arbetet med detaljplaner på ett Samhällsbyggnadskontor. Den försöker svara på två frågor. Hur kan man designa integration av olika applikationer, medier och work practices? Är metoder från Participatory Design (PD), Etnografi och CSCW lämpliga för att utforma en sådan designprocess? I min studie har jag använt mig av dessa metoder för att studera arbetet i sin kontext på kontoret, genom situerade intervjuer och observationer. Jag höll även en designworkshop tillsammans med några medarbetare på kontoret.

This report is an evaluation of the cooperation between the rescue command centre and the POSOM-groups (?Psychological and social support?) after the Tsunami catastrophe in December, 2004. The report describes the interaction between these two municipal administrations, what services the rescue command centre provided and how they gathered information. Finally the author suggests different solutions to how the collaboration within these different municipal administrations can be increased and improved in future times of crisis..

The Swedish censorship is an institution run by the Swedish government since 1911 and has cutting films to protect the citizens from unnecessary violence. Their main purpose doesn't work well with the law of copyright in literary and artistic works, as they break this law while cutting movies. They therefore destroy the authors work by doing this, and in this thesis I will point out how they have destroyed the purpose of two scenes in the film Hellraiser and by that, more or less, altered how the audience may look upon two of the characters in the film.  The results points to the unnecessary way of physically cutting films to protect the audience, but also how they choose to work and what preferences they used in their line of work..
