Var går gränsen? : En studie om reklambyråers förhållningssätt till etik och moral

Bakgrund och problemformulering: Fondbolagen erbjuder spararna flertalet olika fondkategorier, däribland fonder med en global placeringsinriktning. Två av dessa produkter är globalfonder och globala fond-i-fonder. Globala fond-i-fonder placerar i andra fonder, såväl hos externa förvaltare som i det egna fondbolagets övriga fonder. I medierna har de globala fond-i-fonderna kritiserats för att ha höga avgifter och enbart syfta till att slussa in kapital i fondbolagets underliggande fonder. För att utreda om globala fond-i-fonder verkligen lyckats skapa något mervärde för fondspararna, vore det av vikt att undersöka dessa och titta på vilken risk, avkastning och riskjusterad avkastning de haft, i jämförelse med globalfonder.Syfte: Syftet med undersökningen är att utreda om globala fond-i-fonder, vid en jämförelse med globalfonder, tillfört något mervärde för den enskilde fondspararen utifrån parametrarna risk, avkastning och riskjusterad avkastning.Metod: Studien bygger på avkastningsdata från åtta fonder, fyra globalfonder och fyra globala fond-i-fonder, under femårsperioden 1 oktober 2004 ? 1 oktober 2009.

TAKK - Tecken som Alternativ och Kompletterande Kommunikation : En kvalitativ studie om hur förskolepedagoger arbetar med TAKK med barn med Downs syndrom ur ett språkutvecklingsperspektiv och vad de anser om att använda TAKK med barn utan särskilda behov

The purpose of this study is to examine how two educators at a preschool that is located in a neighborhood south of Stockholm works with TAKK with children who has Down syndrome in a language promotion purposes. The aim is also to investigate what teachers think about using TAKK with children without special needs and children with Down syndrome.In this study, I used qualitative research methods. I've used both observations and interviews to get answers to my questions. The theories which I have used in this thesis is, socio-cultural perspective, including integration and segregated integration.In order to find out how the educators work with TAKK I have asked these questions:How do the educators work with TAKK with children with Down syndrome from a language development perspective?What do the educators express about using TAKK with children without special needs and with children who has Down syndrome?My conclusions to these questions are that the literatures I have read in many ways are consistent with how they work.

Kinematisk och dynamisk modellering av den haptiska enheten TAU i sex frihetsgrader

The thesis presents an optimally designed kinematic structure for a new 6-DOF haptic devicebased on TAU configuration. The configuration of the TAU-2 proposed by Suleman Khan andKjell Andersson [1] was modified and its mobility was verified by using Grübler criterion tohave a 6 DOF. Analytical kinematic models for the inverse and forward kinematics weredeveloped for the haptic TAU configuration to determine a set of optimal design parameters.Kinematic performance indices such as volume of the workspace, kinematic isotropy and payload index, were defined based on the singular values of the Jacobian matrix. The Jacobianmatrix was scaled to homogenize the physical units. The Jacobian matrix dependent on theposition and orientation of the end-effector gives local isotropy and pay load index, so globaldesign indices were defined, which represent the performance of the mechanism in the wholeworkspace.

This paper is a study of a European citizenship in relation to two different perspectives on citizenship ? universalism and pluralism - from a gender perspective. We discuss a universal citizenship with equal rights and a pluralistic citizenship with different rights (groupdifferentiated rights), in relation to women within the European Union.First, we try to decide whether the European citizenship draws towards a universal or pluralistic direction. Secondly, we discuss problems with the universal and the pluralistic citizenship in relation to women in EU. It's not evident which of them best favours women's needs and interests; both are problematic in its own way.

En strukturerad preventiv intervention baserad på "Acceptance and Commitment Therapy" för ungdomar med psykisk ohälsa : pilottestning av en manualiserad ACT-gruppbehandling

Att hitta preventiva metoder för att motverka ungdomars psykiska ohälsa är ett angeläget forskningsområde, både sett till mänskligt lidande för individen och ur ett samhällsekonomiskt perspektiv. Föreliggande kontrollerade studie, som är randomiserad stratifierat för kön avsåg undersöka om en gruppbaserad ACT-intervention (n=15) kunde vara statistiskt signifikant mer effektiv än sedvanligt omhändertagande (n=17) av ungdomar med eller i riskzonen för psykisk ohälsa. Psykisk ohälsa operationaliserades i termer av ångest, depression, stress, upplevd global livskvalitet, allmän psykisk hälsa, psykologisk flexibilitet, beteendemässigt och emotionellt undvikande, samt medveten närvaro. Resultatet visar att interventionen hade starka positiva effekter på stress, upplevd global livskvalitet och medveten närvaro, samt måttliga effekter på allmän psykisk hälsa, och svaga effekter på depression, ångest, psykologisk flexibilitet, beteendemässigt och emotionellt undvikande. Integrering eller tillägg : En kvalitativ studie om inkludering av jämställdhetsperspektiv i historieundervisning på gymnasiet

The aim of this paper is to elucidate and analyze history teacher's didactic choices in the conflict between unequal educational materials and the requirements of equality in the curriculum of Swedish secondary school. The empirical data consists of interviews with five secondary school history teachers, observations of their lessons as well as analysis of their tests. The starting point was to investigate teachers' didactic work in the role as a bridge between the non-equal historiography presented in textbooks in history and the curriculum?s demands for equality. Three different approaches have been observed in the teachers' didactic work when considering gender perspective into their teaching: that women become extensions in a male-dominated historiography; that another part of the story is presented when a gender perspective is considered; and that the gender perspective is included in history teaching and becomes an integral part of all the content of the subject.Several of the teachers acknowledged that gender equality is less prioritized than the courses core content and related assessment criteria.

En skola för alla? : Some teacher?s perspective on intercultural pedagogic

Purpose: The purpose with the essay is to examine how some teacher?s works with intercultural questions, if they are looking after student?s cultural background, earlier experiences and knowledge?s in their teaching. We have formulated three questions whom we want answer to.Method: The essay began with a theoretical research to get more knowledge of intercultural pedagogic. The study part is based on seven interviews in two schools in Södertälje, five with teachers and two with assistant principals. The conclusions of our essay are based on the results of our study.Result: The study shows that the two discourses ?national self-understanding? and ?the democratic credot? still lives and compete with each other.

Ung Företagsamhets arbetssätt : Ur pedagogens perspektiv

AbstractThe aim of this paper is to, through interviews, examine what opinions teachers connected to "Ung Företagsamhet" (Young Enterprise, UF) have on the work of UF compared to contractual and traditional learning. The reason for this is to find out if UF´s way of working is successful in a world, where the definition of knowledge constantly changes. Through qualitative interviews the views of four UF teachers are scrutinised. The results of the interviews indicate that UF works in a way, which contains both contractual and traditional learning, where both directions complement each other in different stages of the learning process.Key words: Contractual learning, pedagogical perspective, Young Enterprise, traditional learning.

The problem today is that the global concentration of green house gases has significantly increased since the 1750's as a result of human activity. Today's values widely exceed the preindustrial values.
