The genus Borrelia is a widespread, pathogenic pest and the causative of among others borreliosis or Lyme disease. The vector for the bacteria is the hard tick, Ixodes ricinus and the infection is transferred through a bite. Untreated, Borrelia may cause arthritis, heart damage or neuroborreliosis. Infection is made possible through different strategies for avoiding the body?s complement system.

Within the framework of the concept of Network Based Defence (NBF) services should be available in the network, in order to increase the aggregate capacity. A common situation picture is one of these services.The aim of this paper is to answer the problem "What are the main problem areas in the creation of a situation picture in the land arena, with the help of the technical sensors that exist today?" and to develop a basis for continued research in the field situation in the concept Networking Enabled Command, Control and Collaboration (NEC3) at JCDEC (Joint Concept Development and Experimentation Centre). To answer the problem, a descriptive method is to be used in descriptions of the land arena, the information arena and the sensors and a deductive method is used when analyzing the asensors in the land arena.The problems that exist in the creation of a common situation picture, is that different types of obstacles makes it difficult for the sensors, the large number of people who are not combatants and that it is difficult to judge if a civilian vehicle is a threat, then it could be driven by civilians or by combatants..

The basic intention of this study is founded on an ambition to make change within the competing activity at ?Svenska Brukshundklubbens Halmstadavdelning? (SBK Halmstad). This is a local association for owners of working dogs, where I am one of the members. A problem in engage a larger number of voluntarily working members in the association has been established and discussed over several years. My premier aim was to make the members award of different perspectives of the problem.

The aim of the paper is to examine how public libraries can develop their services for children with ethnic minority backgrounds as a user group. This is achieved through studying the conditions for library services provided for children aged 9-12 in this group by public libraries in suburbs densely populated with ethnic minorities. The paper uses both a literature review and empirical research on the community libraries in Rinkeby and Rosengård as well as the town library in Lund. Services potentially available to these groups are analysed and discussed in the later chapters. The overall conclusion is that those services provided for ethnic minority children are largely the same as those provided for in children library services in general.

Computational thinking is a problem solving method that uses computer science techniques.The thesis is analyzing computational thinking and how it could be applied to graph theory. Characteristics and main fields from computational thinking is being analysed. This analysis is applied to graph theory to see the potential in developing a proposal for how an exercise can look for an introductory course in discrete data types. IT-system fungerar ofta som kärnan i verksamheter idag, dessa system ska underhållas under hela dess livstid av en IT-verksamhet. Med denna uppsats ville vi undersöka vilka problem som kan uppstå vid systemförvaltningens ändringshantering och hur dessa problem kan lösas med hjälp av agila metoder. För att besvara vår undersökningsfråga, Hur kan systemförvaltningens ändringshantering förbättras med agila metoder? använde vi oss av ett kvalitativt angreppssätt i form av intervjuer tillsammans med litteraturstudier. Företaget vi undersökte använde sig i systemförvaltningen utav agila metoder men aldrig i dess helhet.

Denna D-uppsats undersöker hur genetiska algoritmer beskrivs i teorin och hur de tillämpas mot verklighetsbaserade optimeringsproblem. I uppsatsen har jag valt att utföra en dokumentstudie, där jag undersöker hur genetiska algoritmer tillämpas mot the traveling salesman problem. Allt insamlat material har analyserats och jag har identifierat och beskrivit ett produktionsproblem, vilket jag har angripit genom att egenutveckla en modell över en genetisk algoritm. Utifrån dessa förutsättningar besvarar jag uppsatsens forskningsfråga, nämligen vad är viktigt att beakta i samband med utveckling och design av genetiska algoritmer? .

A common assumption in marketing is the wider variety of product a corporation has, the better for the consumer: more product - more choices. Companies often develop a line extension to broaden consumer range through product attributes including quality, function and design. Syftet med denna studie är att ge en insikt i hur elever med kombinerade läs- och skriv och matematiksvårigheter tänker och resonerar vid problemlösning.Tre elever i år 8, som alla ingår i samma specialundervisningsgrupp i matematik, har arbetat med olika typer av matematisk problemlösning, såväl individuellt som i grupp. Med utgångspunkt i deras arbete skapas början till en grundad teori.I forskningssammanhang behandlas ofta denna kategori elever (med kombinerade problem) som en enhetlig kategori som jämförs med t ex elever med enbart matematiksvårigheter, normalpresterande elever osv. Denna undersökning visar dock att de svårigheter eleverna uppvisar är av mycket olika karaktär.Studien omfattar tre delar: en presentation av fältstudien och resultaten från denna, en metoddel innefattande en pilotstudie som koncentreras på datainsamlingsmetoden samt en omfattande litteraturstudie som behandlar problemlösning och inlärningssvårigheter..

The main purpose of this study was to determine the self-estimated levels of knowledge about doping for a group of strength training young adults, and also to get an idea of their attitudes regarding the subject. A part of the purpose was also to investigate the potential associations between knowledge and attitude. Method: To collect information a questionnaire was constructed that was inspired by a similar study and in consultation with the tutor. Questions regarding background, doping and training experiences together with self-esteemed attitudes and knowledge about doping were included. Questionnaires were handed out at gym facilities in central Sweden, and were answered by men and women ages 18 to 35 years.

AbstractThe European union experience sometimes difficulties in advancing its work due to the member states? different ambitions and interests. The budget is one common tool that the member states can use in order to implement different policies according to their preferences. A large share of the budget is presently tied up in the CAP, the common agricultural policy. This share could be spent in another area and by doing so the EU could take a slightly different direction.

Att läkemedel ger lindring och bot men ibland även problem relaterade till dem är känt. Tidigare gjorda studier inom området har belyst problemet men det har oftast skett utifrån ett kostnadsperspektiv. I Sverige har under senare tid projekt startats med fokus satt på underlättande av arbetet med att förebygga, identifiera och åtgärda läkemedelsrelaterade problem. BLIR- projektet behandlade detta arbete. Syftet med det här examensarbetet har varit att genom sammanställning av insamlat material kartlägga förekomsten av problem relaterade till läkemedel.
