As changes occur more frequently in IT- and software development, it is important for the companies to meet the demands and needs of its customer. The companies have to be able to adapt themselves continuously in order till fulfill its customers changing needs in an effective way, which results in big changes of the companies? structures. The more traditional way of working is often replaced with more alternative approaches as a response to the reputable deficiencies of its predecessors. As an effect of the rapid change and development some companies now see big potential in switching to more Agile and flexible methods and some companies have no choice but to change their way of working.

SammanfattningBakgrundLean är ett arbetssätt och en arbetsfilosofi som härstammar från Henry Fords produktionssystem som först förädlats i Japan och sedan vid MIT i USA för att sedan spridas över världen under 1990-talet. Lean består av ett antal olika verktyg och metoder. Det är däremot viktigt att förstå att vissa av de verktyg och metoder som används inom Lean har funnits långt innan Lean-uttrycket skapades. Med detta i bakhuvudet så förstår man att det inte är ett nytt förbättringskoncept utan bygger på många olika verktyg som är förenade. Svårigheten att tillämpa Lean ligger dock inte i att använda sig av de olika verktygen och metoderna.

Dagens företag är i stort behov av information. Företag som har många avdelningar behöver möjligheter för att enkelt och smidigt kunna samordna information för hela företaget. Affärssystem erbjuder denna möjlighet genom en modulbaserad konstruktion som integrerar ett företags samtliga avdelningar i ett enda system. Problem kan dock uppstå då ett valt affärssystem inte passar företagets verksamhet. En kompromiss mellan system och verksamhet måste då försöka uppnås.Ett affärssystem implementeras ofta i samband med en metod, vilken ger detaljerade beskrivningar för hur implementeringen ska gå till.

Studien innefattar också att identifiera för och nackdelar med olika app-typer genom en litteraturstudie och intervjuer samt att testa om migrationsmetoderna fungerar praktisk genom en implementation.Resultatet har påvisat att det finns två stycken olika metoder för migration vilket är PhoneGap och Xamarin.

This study aims to investigate how small scale manufacturing companies reason around an implementation of a PLM-system, as well as the suitability of these systems compared to larger companies. The study is built on a qualitative method. Initially, secondary data was gathered through books, articles and reports. Primary data was gathered through four interviews. Two interviews were performed with PLM resellers, one interview was performed with a PLM developer, and one interview was performed with a small scale manufacturing company that opted to not implement a PLM-system.The results imply that overall differences between larger and smaller companies exist in regard to the need of PLM systems.

The aim of this paper is to see if Sweden has implemented the recommendations and taken notice of the guidelines for employment that the Commission and Council set up every year and from this see the role of the Commission and Council for the national employment politics. The years that I focused on in the paper are year 2000- 2004. The method that is used is a case study research that is exploratory and explanatory. The theoretical starting points are theories about delegation, cooperation and a variation of control and autonomy. This is recognized in the Principal- Agent theory and the Principal- Supervisor-Agent model.

The essay first analyzes the changes in the unionist society where the opinion towards the agreement has been negative which depends on the concessions made by the unionist.

This master thesis is a study on how a rategyro triad, an accelerometer triad, and a magnetometer triad can be integrated into a navigation system, estimating a vehicle?s attitude, i.e. its roll, tipp, and heading angles. When only a rategyro triad is used to estimate a vehicle?s attitude, a drift in the attitude occurs due to sensor errors.

This bachelor thesis is a study and an evaluation of the planning and implementation of the targeted marketing campaign "Småbarnsföräldern" at a public library. The analysis is based on the following questions:? What goals does the library have with the marketing campaign "Småbarnsföräldern"?? How has the library chosen to plan and implement the marketing campaign "Småbarnsföräldern" and what role have the users had in this process?? What is the internal result of the library?s marketing campaign ? how did the staff experience the marketing campaign "Småbarnsföräldern"?? What is the external result ? how did the target group, the parents of young children, experience the marketing campaign "Småbarnsföräldern"?The method is based on a case study of a single library with a series of interviews and document analysis. The study reveals that it´s difficult to plan a marketing campaign against a target group. The target group, the parents of young children, didn?t observe the marketing campaign, two informants had noticed the poster but didn?t pay much attention to it.

Cyborgen, en samansättning av orden cybernetik och organism, en gestalt vars innebörd bör ses som mer än en fiktiv gestaltning. Cyborgen är idag enligt forskare och filosofer en samhällelig verklighet och dess inverkan på individen är mycket större än vi tror. Det här kandidatarbetet undersöker vad som definierar en cyborg, med stöd ifrån forskning och filosofin summeras tankar och synsätt för att få en mer definitiv bild av begreppet. Arbetet studerar även hur den sociala kontexten kan komma att förvrängas när tekniken letar sig in i den köttsliga kroppen. De resultat och insikter arbetet resulterat i sammanfattas och står som grund för en gestaltning vars mål har varit att kategorisera öppen data från individer med inbyggda Rfid-chip, en diskussion av begreppet och dess innebörd sammanfattas i en resultatdel för att få en bred bild av cyborgen som helhet.

In this thesis we investigate the level of deliberative democracy in the current implementation of the 24/7 Agency in the local government. We are interested in how the combination of the two seemingly opposing ideals of Demokratiutredningen and the 24/7 Agency is solved. Our analysis is based on interviews with civil servants from three kommuner in Skåne and a schematic overview of their websites. As a theoretical framework we use New Public Management Theory, Deliberative Democracy Theory, and Citizen Theory.We have found that the local 24/7 Agency is initiated and implemented by public servants. Their experiences and worldview is mirrored in both process and result.

Another part is support in both telephone and personal visits.Because the number of clients is high and the flora of different automation systems is big the consequence is that the employees must have access to many licenses with programming tools.

This thesis is a case study which describes the automation of a university library in Sub-Saharan Africa. The aim of the case study is, firstly; to find out which actors and factors have started and influenced the automation and the implementation of ICT at Makerere University Library in Kampala, Uganda. Secondly; it also discusses if the automation has changed the librarys condition. The empirical material consists of fifteen interviews with librarians and students. The empirical material itself has functioned as a base when discerning the analytical themes.

Det här examensarbetet utvärderar om det är möjligt att använda en eller flera GPUs för att under realtidsförhållanden utföra radarsignalbehandling i ett pulsdopplerradarsystem. En kedja med radarsignalbehandlingsalgoritmer som används för att utföra detektion har implementerats med CUDA och sedan prestandaanalyserats med fokus på låg exekveringstid. Två CFAR-detektionsalgoritmer, CA- och OS-CFAR, har inkluderats i analysen. För CFAR-algoritmerna har flera alternativ formulerats och implementerats för att utvärdera hur de bäst kan anpassas för att exekvera på en GPU.Prestandaanalysen av de implementerade algoritmerna visar att det är möjligt för det tänkta systemet att använda grafikkort för att utföra radarsignalbehandlingen i realtid. Implementationslösningar har presenterats både för CA- och OS-CFAR som uppfyller tidskraven för systemet, i vissa fall med god marginal.
