North of the city of Stockholm lies the area called Södra Roslagen composed of several municipalities. The purpose of this essay is to discover how local informants describe the food culture of the region and analyse why some types of food are mentioned and others are excluded. Several people within the food industry of Södra Roslagen were given surveys asking them to describe the food habits of the area, from commodities and certain dishes to traditions. These answers were analysed using the theories regional food, regiocentrism, revitalisation, placeless food and the idea of viewing culture through the long and the short perspective.One informant mentioned that professionals in the food industry of the region tend to follow trends from the rest of the world and another that many producers work with ecological requirements. Södra Roslagen was also defined by some as having a taste of summer as this coastal area sees an influx of visitors during that season.

Våra frågeställningar fokuserar på verksamhetslogik, översättning/ implementering av denna verksamhetslogik till faktiska arbetsmetoder, matchning av verksamhetslogik samt faktiska arbetsmetoder gentemot det definierade problemet. Sweden will, in accordance with the EU-directive 2003/54/EC, move from post-regulating the electricity power grid-tariffs by using a fictitious grid, to a regulation in advance which uses the actual power grid as a starting point. For this purpose a component breakdown of the grid needs to be made to determine the value of the network and by that the tariff price that is reasonable for the network business in question to charge.The primary breakdown criteria is the voltage-level and type of region. Voltage-level is crucial for the cost and complexity of a grid-part, because the higher the voltagelevel is, there are more and stricter laws and rules to follow. This work is limited to the distributionpart of the grid, in other words voltage levels from 20 kV and below.The type of region is crucial to the type of components you can and want to use. In city environments both overhead-wires and independent substations are undesirable for both practical, safety and aesthetic reasons.

Recent developments suggest that private and public companies are moving towards a more service-oriented business. Service orientation means that hardware is often sold in packages with service agreements, which makes the investment more difficult to assess. The challenges that arise will be to assess the value of the overall package, the information needed to make informed decisions and the operational requirements in combination of hardware, software, support agreements, training and more. The paper therefore aims to examine how decision makers can evaluate the benefits of these investments and obtain a stronger base to make better decisions. There is within the area of radiology in the region of Västra Götaland a pronounced need for a better flow of information regarding medical equipment and related service agreements.

This Master?s thesis explores the staff responsible for children?s culture in the south of Sweden, in north-east Scania. This thesis seeks to answer the following questions: What kind of culture is offered to children in their spare time? Can children influence culture in the investigated region, and do the people in charge listen to the children?s ideas? How are children in the region informed about cultural events? In my research I used enquiries and worked with the investigation program Query & Report to collect the material. The study consists of the staff, i.e.

Bakgrunden till examensarbetet ligger i en önskan från NCC Hus Region Stockholm att förbättra processen för erfarenhetsåterföring. När man arbetar med erfarenhetsåterföring på en lokal nivå så är det framförallt mötesrutiner, kontakt mellan anställda samt resurser för att arbeta fram material att återföra som är viktigt för att uppnå en fungerande erfarenhetsåterföringsprocess. Analys och slutsatser visar på brister i kommunikation mellan olika funktioner inom regionen samt mellan projektorganisationerna i olika affärschefsgrupper. Det fanns även problem med att få projektorganisationerna att skriva erfarenhetsrapporter. Vidare saknades resurser för att utvärdera och analysera inskickade rapporter samt ett bra medium att sprida erfarenheter.

Målet med den här studien var att undersöka de anställdas känslomässiga bedömning av den interna kommunikationen på ett svenskt skogsbolag med hjälp av en modifierad version av undersökningsverktyget Communication Satisfaction Questionnaire (CSQ) samt två kvalitativa frågor. Studien genomfördes på 65 anställda inom en region av ett svensk skogsbolag. Resultatet visade att de anställda var ganska nöjda eller nöjda med de olika dimensionerna av kommunikationstillfredsställelse samt att ingen statistiskt säkerställd skillnad kunde identifieras mellan tillfredsställelsen hos region- och distriktsanställda. Vidare kunde ett samband påvisas mellan de anställdas arbetstillfredsställelse och kommunikationsdimensionerna: kommunikationseffektivitet, chefsrelation, skvaller och presonlig feedback. Resultatet från de kvalitativa frågorna påvisade att de förbättringsmöjligheter de anställda framhöll främst fanns inom området kommunikationskanaler.

The Swedish industrial society has left several areas with contaminated soil and water which today is of danger for the environment and human health. One of these areas with contaminated soil and water is the region where the former Glava glassworks operated during 1859 to 1939. The main object in this study has been to study the responsibility for the contaminations according to the Environmental Code. The method used is a qualitative content analysis of relevant literature to answer the following questions:What types of contaminations can be found in the area of Glava glasswork and what health issues can these cause?What kind of activity has been conducted in the area that have caused the contaminations in soil and water?According to law, what are the responsibilities for the contaminations in soil and water at Glava glassworks?The contamination in the region has been confirmed to originate from the glasswork due to the environmental engineering survey made in the area in 2009.

When all the votes where counted, the county of Skåne showed an exceptionally high support for the right wing nationalist party Sverigedemokraterna. Why then, did Sverigedemokraterna have a higher support among voters in Skåne (as part of the larger and transnational Öresund region), than among other Swedish voters? My hypothesis is the following: the regional interaction within Öresund has not only had positive effects concerning the values that the people of Skåne hold.

To invest money in funds is increasing rapidly in popularity and one of the biggest reasons is that banks are offering a greater range of funds. Information about funds is always easy to find and it is easy to invest money in a fund because the bank takes care of all the management of the fund.The essay examines two funds from two different countries with an aim to choose the one with best potential yield. The first fund is entirely invested in North America and the second fund invests in Asia, with most of its possessions in companies from China. Both these funds invest in wellknown companies in respective region. The essay is limited to compare these funds with data from 2005 to 2009.Information was collected from Morningstar and Avanza Bank for the quantitative examination.

Stora webbplatser innehåller mycket information och denna information måste struktureras för att folk enkelt skall kunna hitta den information de söker. Region Skåne lanserade år 2005 Vårdgivarwebben. En webbplats med syfte att förse alla vårdgivare i regionen med gemensam hälso- och sjukvårdsrelaterad information. Webbplatsen innehåller ett rikt och varierat informationsmaterial.

Detta examensarbete, på kandidatnivå med omfattning 15 högskolepoäng har pågått i tio veckor och har varit i samarbete med Region Gotland. Uppdraget har handlat om att ta fram en ny parkerings skylt för Visbys innerstad samt underlätta navigeringen i trafiken genom en parkerings app. Skylten och appen samspelas med varandra och skapar på så vis en helhet över trafikproblemen i Visby innerstad.Problemformuleringen i projektet har varit: ?Hur kan jag skapa ett nytt navigeringssätt för att underlätta trafik flödet i Visby samt utveckla en ny parkeringsskylt som enkelt kan uppfattas och samtidigt smälta in i den historiska miljön med rimlig kostnads insatser för Region Gotland??Jag har genom studier på färg, form, funktion analyserat och kommit fram till en grafisk symbol, med ett färgval som är igenkännbart till skyltar relaterat till parkerings automater anpassad för Visbys innerstad. Man ska enkelt kunna tolka skyltarna och hitta till parkerings automaterna samtidigt som det ska smälta in i kulturarvs miljö.

Every plan and program decided on by an authority or municipality, where the environmental impact can be considerable, must be environmentally assessed according to Environmental Code, the Planning and Building Act (PBA) and the Regulation on Environmental Impact Assessment.The purpose of this study is to examine the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for The Region Development Plan for the Stockholm Region, RUFS 2010. The plan was approved by at that time the Regional Planning Office (Regionplanekontoret), which procured the process by consultants. RUFS 2010 includes two merged plans ie. a regional Development Plan (RUP) and the Regional Spatial Plan for Stockholm. It was necessary to establish an environmental assessment of RUP, but not for the regional plan.

Ledarutveckling är idag en företeelse som fått stor uppmärksamhet i organisationer och i samhället i övrigt och som har kommit att bli en miljardindustri. Uppsatsen syftar till att ge en ökad förståelse för hur sektionschefer i en region inom Skatteverket tar tillvara ny kunskap i sitt arbete efter ledarutveckling. Undersökningen bygger på kvalitativ metod där semistrukturerade intervjuer med sex sektionschefer har genomförts för insamlandet av empiri. Resultatet visar att cheferna efter ledarutveckling anser sig ha utvecklats som människor samt att de fått praktisk nytta av det de lärt sig, främst vid samtal med medarbetare. Utbildningarna har även resulterat i att samtliga chefer har utvecklats i sitt ledarskap då de främst fått insikt i hur man agerar och tänker i olika situationer.
