Detta examensarbete handlar om hur katalytiska föroreningar kan påverka denmarina dieselmotorn, samt vad kan man göra för att skydda sig. Vi ville också se omdet lågsvavliga bränslet har något att göra med de katalytiska föroreningarna. Vianvände oss av en litteraturstudie att få flera åsikter i ämnet. Vi märkte hur svårt detfaktiskt är att härleda ett eventuellt bränslepumps slitage beror på bränslets kvalitet.De slutsatser som vi kan dra efter att ha fördjupat oss i ämnet är att det går attskydda sig emot de katalytiska föroreningarna samt att de nya lågsvavliga bränslenainnehåller mer katalytiska föroreningar än de högsvavliga. De katalytiskaföroreningarna har de senaste åren uppmärksammats mer och mer runt hela världen.Med de uppgifter som vi fått fram, så tror vi att problemen med de katalytiskaföroreningarna kommer att öka i framtiden då de nya MARPOL reglerna börjar gälla..

The main purpose of our thesis is to discuss the subject e-books from a Swedish public library perspective. The aim of the thesis is to locate and analyse statistics in regards to lending electronic books in public libraries. With this background a text analyse have been done, which views different arguments about e-books. We have studied the current statistics about lending e-books to the public users, the statistic material was gathered from the two main providers of e-books, eLib and E-biblioteket. With this statistic report as a background, arguments from scientists, journalists and users of e-books have been studied.

The aim of this thesis is to research if and in that case how, marketing of Swedish public libraries is used as a possible work method in a time when they are marked by changes in the form of cut backs and technical innovations. With a strive to get an overview by the possible debate I have chosen to do a closer exam of 20 texts published in five of the biggest Swedish library publications during a period of 20 years. My research is based mainly upon Philip Kotler?s marketing theories regarding non-profit organization as well as Eileen Elliot de Saéz interpretations of these to a library context. The first part of the essay therefore consists of an introduction of these, as well as a rendering of their method of work, which shows the width of the conception of marketing.

I februari 2011 presenterades EU-kommissionens direktivsförslag om PNR-system i EU. Förslaget är kontroversiellt, särskilt utifrån ett integritetsperspektiv. PNR-förslaget innebär att flygbolag ska överföra flygpassageraruppgifter till nationella myndigheter som ska använda uppgifterna i syfte att förebygga, spåra, utreda och lagföra terrorism och allvarlig brottslighet. Förslaget indikerar att myndigheterna i respektive medlemsstat även får använda PNR-uppgifterna för andra syften än de angivna. Myndigheterna ska lagra PNR-uppgifterna i fem år.

This essay aims to investigate how Swedish Public Libraries market their activities in video games for youths. It also highlights how the library, on the basis of the unique opportunities of the video game medium, can develop this marketing to build a relationship with youths. The empiric evidence is based on a survey of answers given by 30 librarians responsible for video game collections, and qualitative telephone interviews with three of them. The essay?s theoretical framework is based on Philip Kotler and his co-authors? marketing theory which consists of five stages: Marketing research, segmentation, marketing mix, implementation and development.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how the public libraries work towards SFI (Swedish For Immigrants) based on the views of the overseeing librarians. To study this we have asked the following research questions:What distinguishes the public libraries? work towards SFI according to the responsible librarians? What distinguishes the communication between SFI teachers and the librarians according to the responsible librarians? What opinions are held by the librarians in regards to their work with SFI?We have used a semi structured interview method with seven librarians in charge of the activities with SFI at small and medium sized public libraries in a rural area of Sweden. The theoretical framework is composed of Marianne Andersson and Dorte Skot-Hansen?s model for analysis of the local public library profile and the authors? definition of collaboration.

The technical evolution has a great influence on the public libraries. Electronic media becomes more and more common. This Master´s thesis is based upon the Swedish Library law 9§ (SFS 1996:1596) which says: Public- and school libraries should pay special attention to children and teenagers by offering books, information technology and other media, adapted to their needs, to encourage development of language and stimulate reading. From this point of view we have examined why the children´s departments in public libraries offer CD-ROM games which are based upon characters from the literature, how they are used in the daily activity and how they can contribute to the development of the children´s department.We have made literary studies and empirical investigations including interviews, observation studies etc. The results from this studies shows that both young and adults appreciate the CD-ROM games.

Svenska Försvarsmaktens omstrukturerig har inneburit att underhålls- ochstödorganisationen har fått ny struktur och förändrade uppgifter med ett tydligt krav påfredsrationalitet.Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta fram en tydligare bild av dagens situation förMarkverkstäderna kopplat till deras roll i och/eller för Insatsorganisationen.Studien är framtidsinriktad, med kvalitativ metod och empiriskt genomförd i form avintervjuer och litteraturstudier. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten är den rationalistiskaorganisationsteorin och en egenutvecklad teorimodell.Resultatet visar att dagens resurser i Grundorganisationen inte räcker till för att klara avde behov som Insatsorganisationen har eller förväntas att komma med. Samt att ingaåtgärder är vidtagna för att lösa bristen..

Vårt examensarbete har resulterat i två menystyrda applikationer. En för projektionsöverräkning och en för generering av rutnät samt besiffring av karta. De ska ingå i Metria i Kirunas kartframställning. För att skapa dessa applikationer har vi använt Arc/Info och dess programmerigsspråk AML. Menyerna för projektionsöverräkning är enkla men vissa menyval medger avancerad användning .

Denna studie har utgått från ett sociosemiotiskt perspektiv, vilket innebär att kommunikationssätten ständigt utvecklas. Detta leder till att nya semiotiska resurser skapas och främjar kommunikationen. Syftet med denna studie är att analysera layout i olika läroböcker i matematikämnet som används i skolor idag. Syftet är även att analysera läroböckerna utifrån ett perspektiv som gynnar elever med neuropsykiatriska funktionsnedsättningar (NPF).  Frågeställningarna som ställs är: ? Hur samspelar bilder och skrift i böckerna? ? Vilka funktioner fyller de olika bilderna och hur mycket utrymme tar de i böckerna? ? Hur ser layouten ut i förhållande till vad elever med neuropsykiatriska funktionsnedsättningar behöver? Analysmodellen som användes var baserad på olika frågor som ställdes till läroböckerna.

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med studien är att undersöka hur tre lärare i Idrott och hälsa lägger upp sin undervis-ning samt sju elevers upplevelse av detsamma med utgångspunkt i självbestämmandeteorin. De frågeställningar som ska besvara syftet är följande: Vilka olika arbetssätt genomsyrar undervisningen bland lärarna i Idrott och hälsa? Vilka faktorer i undervisningen korrelerar med tillfredsställelsen av  elevernas autonomi-, kompetens- och tillhörighetsbehov?Hur motiveras eleverna till att vara delaktiga i undervisningen? Metod: Till denna kvalitativa studie genomfördes semistrukturerade intervjuer med tre idrottslärare på grundskolan och sju elever i skolår nio. Intervjuerna spelades in på en digital diktafon. Resultat: Samtliga idrottslärare arbetar på skilda sätt. En idrottslärare arbetar i block där olika moment läses i två till tre veckor.

This bachelor thesis? purpose is to investigate how purchase librarians work with foreign language collection management. Since about 15% of the citizens of Sweden are born abroad or have a foreign background, the subject of investigation becomes relevant because it touches a wide user group of the public library.Interviews were conducted with four librarians responsible for purchasing of foreign literature. The purpose of these interviews was to investigate which underlying strategies and thoughts are used as a basis for purchasing.Since the library act does not include guidelines regarding the content of the foreign literature collection, how is the literature chosen and to what purpose?As a theoretical framework a self-developed model was used to categorize the foreign literature into its different functions.

The aim of this master?s study is to examine the function of the public library in the local community at present. I have searched for the answers to the following questions: Which position has the public library in the local cultural policy? What characterizes each library and which are the priorities? What is the local profile of the public library? What cooperation partners does the public library have and what do they mean to the library? Does the public library intensify the local community in any way? To answer this, I have made three qualitative case studies. Interviews and collection of documents were carried out in three different communities.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the quality notions used by the library personnel responsible for the video game department at Malmo City Library. Furthermore, the thesis aims to assess how these notions of quality relate to properties of the actual collection of video games. The empirical results are based on interviews with the responsible library personnel. The result is then analyzed by an interpretation of Carl Gustav Johannsen?s library adapted, theory-based, model of quality definitions.

Syftet med examensarbetet var att undersöka om man med verklighetsbaserad matematikundervisning kan påverka elevernas attityd gentemot matematik. Vi genomförde vår undersökning i en år 7-9 skola. Gruppen bestod av 24 elever i en årskurs 8 med varierande kunskapsnivåer i matematik. Vi använde oss av en enkät till de två undersökningstillfällen vi hade: ett i början och ett i slutet av arbetsperioden. Tiden mellan enkäterna fick eleverna arbeta i grupp med uppgifter som vi tagit fram.
