Utvecklingssamtalet har idag en given roll i samarbetet mellan hem och skola. Ändå noterades under min lärarpraktik att många upplever mötet som intetsägande. Denna studie vill undersöka hur parterna i samtalet lärare, vårdnadshavare och elever upplever kvaliteten på samtalet och försöka finna vilka faktorer som påverkar kvaliteten. Ett antal enkätintervjuer har här sammanställts i ett försök att få mera kunskaper. Resultaten stämmer väl med tidigare forskning att lärarnas alltmer administrativa uppgifter och avsaknad av samtalstekniker spelar en avgörande roll för samtalets upplevda kvalitet. .

This dissertation discusses head librarians in Swedish public libraries and the stress factors which affect them. The aim is to map out potential stress factors which head librarians come across in their day-to-day work. The purpose of the dissertation is to answer the following question: what stress factors affect library managers in Swedish public libraries? The dissertation was conducted through a literature study, informal interviews and a quantitative questionnaire. The results of the quantitative questionnaires show that the factor that produces the highest level of stress is having too many different tasks.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate librarians? experiences and opinions about a system for fiction retrieval based on the subject headings list Att indexera skönlitteratur. I want to know if librarians experience that subject headings searches for fiction literature are a good working tool, if there according to librarians are other resources and means that makes fiction available and searchable, and how they estimate the possibility of non-professionals to use subject headings for fiction retrieval. Six librarians at public libraries in Göteborg where interviewed. The interviews dealt with their work with fiction literature, their experiences of subject headings as a fiction retrieval tool, and with their contacts with patrons.

Jag har under ett år arbetat som Pro Kurator på en av Lunds 13 nationer. Mitt jobb gick ut på att sköta kontakten med de drygt 50 utskottscheferna och ansvara för beställningar och leveranser. Nationens högste ansvarige är kuratorn. Denna personen har hand om kontakt med myndigheter och universitet och är nationens ansikte utåt. Kuratorn sköter många administrativa uppgifter som t.ex stipendiefonder och registerhantering.

Denna studies syfte är att undersöka hur ett urval slöjdlärare tar sig an hållbar utveckling inom respektive slöjdinriktning i skolan. De frågeställningar jag utgår ifrån behandlar lärarnas förhållningsätt till begreppet och traditioner som finns inom respektive slöjdart samt förutsättningar utifrån materialen. För att ta reda på detta har jag utgått från en kvalitativ metodansats där intervjuer med tre textilslöjdslärare respektive tre trä- och metallslöjslärare ingått. Jag har även utfört observationer på en skola inom de båda slöjdarterna, för att få en inblick i hur lärare och elever agerar och hanterar materialen ur ett hållbarhetsperspektiv. Studien utgår ifrån teoretiska utgångspunkter som Soujanens teori om slöjd kopplat till fyra bärande principer för hållbar utveckling.

I såväl boken ?grundsyn ledning? som i alla våra fastställda eller utkast till doktriner framgår att vierkänner oss till manöverkrigföringen med uppdragstaktik som ledningsmetod. Uppdragstaktikanger att högre chef skall ställa uppgift, tilldela resurser och sedan överlåta till den underställde attlösa tilldelad uppgift. Härvidlag är det intressant att se på hur just uppgifterna skall ställas. I dagensoch morgondagens krig är och kommer tempot i striden att vara högt varför kravet på ömsesidigförståelse i kommunikationen mellan chefer är stort.

Eight libraries, seven public libraries and one college library, in the northeast of Skåne serve as foundation in a collaboration where students and adult learners are placed in the center of attention. The aim of this Master's thesis in library and information science was to study how the students and adult learners in the northeast of Skåne perceive the library services that are developed with their needs in mind.Our method for this thesis was a quantitative interview study. We aimed to conduct interviews with users at the public libraries within the cooperation and thereby find out whether or not users within the target group were aware of the services that are developed and established within the northeast Skåne collaboration.The results showed that only a few respondents in the key target group did in fact know about certain parts of the library services especially developed for the northeast of Skåne-collaboration. The majority of the key target group also thought that study-related literature and reading rooms were the most important means that the libraries have to offer them in their studies. The northeast of Skåne-collaboration had many ideas concerning library services.

Media has power and impact. It is therefore important for managers to be able to handle media storms when they arise. If not, the brand can be affected negatively. It is managers who should learn to handle media storms because the managers constitute an important part of the external face of the company. Because it is managers who should learn to handle media storms it is interesting to study how media storms should be handled from a theoretical management-perspective.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe how librarians inSwedish public libraries use Facebook and Twitter in themediation of literature. Our study focus on the librarians? role inthat process. The research questions are:? How do the librarians in this study regard mediation of literature through Facebook and/or Twitter in relation to othermediation strategies?? What goals and purposes do the librarians give in the selection of literature that they promote on Facebook and/or Twitter?? What do public librarians think about the future for mediation of literature through social media, how will it evolve?The methodology used was qualitative interviews.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the view on the personal encounter between staff and visitors in public libraries in order to detect possible differences between the two groups in order to see if the personal encounter as such could be used in order to market libraries. We believe that social competence must interact with the initial personal encounter in order for the visitor to experience the visit as positive. We have based the theoretical framework on Erving Goffman?s theory on social interaction, as well as on Christian Grönroos? theory on quality of service and marketing. We use the following questions: How do library staff view the personal encounter? How do library visitors view the personal encounter? How does the library staff?s treatment affect the visitor?s view of the library?Are there any differences in view between visitors and staff concerning the personal encounter? If so, what kind of differences are they? Using qualitative interviews, we have interviewed nine visitors and six staff members at two public libraries.

This study examined gray areas within professional ethics of a public library organization and investigated the relationship between the library as an organization and the librarian as an employee when it comes to support and opportunities to make exceptions to rules and regulations. This relationship is then related to workplace issues.Data were gathered via interviews with six librarians who were placed into two focus groups. Library organization documents that contain rules and regulations (guidelines) were examined. The presumption was that conformity between librarians? experiences and actions and the organization?s guidelines will tell us something about workplace conditions.

I denna uppsats studeras förekomsten av värden i geometrikapitel i läromedel för gymnasieskolans Matematik A. En metod baserad på innehållsanalys som använts i en tidigare studie om förekomst av värden i algebrakapitel har vidareutvecklats. Sammanlagt 955 uppgifter i geometrikapitlen i fem olika läroböcker har analyserats. Resultatet visar på en skillnad mellan intentionerna i gymnasieskolans styrdokument och det utrymme olika värden ges. Även skillnader mellan det utrymme studerade läromedel ger åt olika värden har påvisats..

Mediation of fiction has always been one of the main tasks of the public library. The focus on information technology is often seen as a threat and competitor to this task. But technology can also offer new ways to mediate fiction, and the aim of this thesis is to examine how library websites and blogs can be used for this purpose. The research questions are:? What forms of fiction mediating material exist on library websites and blogs?? How is the fiction mediating material presented?? Are there any differences between the fiction mediating working methods on websites and blogs compared with those in physical libraries?The thesis is based on a qualitative content analysis of eight Swedish public library websites and three blogs, and on a theoretical frame work including literature and research on mediation of fiction, library websites and blogs, web design and usability.
