Brands are the instruments corporates use to create and communicate brands reputation. Within the different industries for consumer products intangible assets such as brands are known to have great importance for corporate prosperities. When consumers experiences a specific brand symbolizes best possible value for money, the corporate behind it has managed to create a unique competitive advantage that should be to its full potential. Strong brands can pose the difference between winning or loosing on the market. Due to this brands should be considered as cost-effective instruments since they help create financial advantages such as consumer loyalty.
Distriktssköterskans förhållningssätt till hälsolitteracitet i bemötandet av patienter på en vårdcentral
Hälsolitteracitet innebär patientens kognitiva förmåga att förstå och tillämpa hälsoinformation. Enligt Hendersons omvårdnadsteori bör sjuksköterskan förstå och assistera när patienten inte har tillräcklig motivation, kunskap eller styrka för att självständigt uppnå hälsa. Syftet med studien var att beskriva distriktsköterskans förhållningssätt till hälsolitteracitet i bemötandet av patienter på en vårdcentral. Studien är en kvalitativ intervjustudie med induktiv ansats. Fem distriktssköterskor från tre olika vårdcentraler intervjuades utifrån en intervjuguide med semi-strukturerade frågor.
Synligt språklärande i en ny tid : En fallstudie från Förskoleklass till åk 2
Utifrån två pedagogiska metoder Verkstadsarbetet och Datorn som pedagogiskt verktyg är syftet med studien att söka svar på frågorna om hur elevers språklärande synliggörs samt vilka förutsättningar som ges för elevers språklärande. Studien är en fallstudie med etnografisk ansats. Vid datainsamlingen användes triangulering och de datainsamlingstekniker som användes var deltagande observationer, informella samtal med både elever och lärare samt en fokusgruppintervju med lärare. Resultatet visar att elevernas språklärande synliggörs genom olika typer av samtal, i analoga läspraktiker, i analoga skrivpraktiker, i digitala läspraktiker och i digitala skrivpraktiker. Studien visar vidare att ett stort antal förutsättningar, inom olika områden, ges för elevers språklärande.

Vinna eller försvinna : En kvalitativ studie om spelberoende
This is a qualitative study where the purpose was to investigate what professionals experience to be the reason for an individual to become addicted to gambling and continues to gamble even though it leads to negative consequences. The purpose was also to investigate what the professionals experienced was of importance for an individual to recover from a gambling addiction. The study was based on qualitative semi-structured interviews with knowledgeable individuals in the field. The main findings of the study were that the motivation for individuals with a gambling problem to continue gamble was that they saw gambling as the solution to their problems by winning back lost money. It was common that gambling was an escape from anxiety, guilt, shame, and other gambling-related problems such as financial liabilities.
Det vidgade textbegreppet i teori och praktik: En diskurs- och intervjustudie
Syftet med denna uppsats är att bidra med ökade kunskaper om och bättre förstå hur tre svensklärare använder och förhåller sig till ett vidgat textbegrepp i undervisningen i svenska för senare år. Studien har en hermeneutisk-fenomenologisk ansats och baseras på semistrukturerade kvalitativa intervjuer. Informanterna i studien har varierande erfarenhet av läraryrket. Tematiseringsarbetet mynnade ut i tre teman som karaktäriserar lärarnas upplevelser av att använda vidgade texttyper i undervisningen. Teman som växte fram och även utgör rubriker i resultatavsnittet var ett vidgat sätt att presentera information, den nya textuella interaktionen och auditiva och visuella texter.
Referenssituationen på högskolebiblioteket ? en arena för lärande?
The purpose of this master thesis is to investigate how librarians working in academic libraries are experiencing the reference situation from a pedagogical point of view, by applying a theoretical framework consisting of learning strategies and their different characteristics, to qualitative interviews. Other goals are to elucidate the fact that learning takes place every day at libraries during the reference situation and that this work must be seen as ?one of the most important activities that takes place at the library?, using the words from one of the interviewed librarians, but also to make place for more discussions regarding pedagogic and library work. This is done by posing questions about knowledge, learning, information literacy, communication, the reference encounter, the roles of the librarian, policy and also architectural aspects of the reference situation. The interviews were taped, transcribed and categorized according to the earlier mentioned areas of interest.
Jag bara lärde mig! : En studie om typografi i läromedel för läsinlärning
We studied the initial process of reading, with a focus on typography, whether it ispossible to increase childrens lust to read in the age six to seven years old, byadjusting the typography and graphic design. We conduct this study through qualitative and quantitative studies, mainlyinterviews with a main focus on children in this particular age were used. In additionto the interviews a questioniare were sent out to a selection of students. The studyalso contained an interview with a pedagogue as well as studies of the current andexisting textbooks and teaching aids that is used on the school we are looking into.During the study we consulted educated pedagogues to get an understanding of thechildren and their learning and to be able to approach them in a suitable way.The theories we have been using were mainly from a typographic point of view.Other areas we explored were theories about reading processes. This study showedthat every child needs a method that is suitable for them and that the materialprovided today is typographically inconsistent. The childrens and teachers needs andwishes in typography did not correspond with the current teaching aids design. From this study the followning points were made about how to design a textbook forchildren in the first grade:? The typeface should be a sans serif.? The point size should be bigger than 12 points.? Text should be aligned to the left.? Sentences should be short without becoming abstract.? To maintain focus on the text the layout should be simple and unbarked.? The format should be designed after the pourpose of the publication, forexample when it is a complement to the textbook, the format should be of suchcharacter that it is easy for the children to bring home.? There should be a typographical consistency through all of the materialsprovided to the children..
Kommunikationens betydelse för att främja föräldrars interaktion i barnets vård
Kunskap och förståelse för kommunikation och interaktion mellan sjuksköterskan och barn/föräldrar är nödvändigt för att förbättra patientsäkerheten. Alla har rätt att få information utifrån sina egna förutsättningar, individanpassad information. Litteraturstudiens syfte var att belysa kommunikationens betydelse för föräldrars delaktighet i barnets vård. Både kvantitativa och kvalitativa artiklar hittades vilket matchade syftet. Slutsatserna i artikelresultaten ledde fram till följande kategorier: omgivande faktorer, sjuksköterskans förhållningssätt och kommunikationsstrategier.
Ramadan : En studie om hur man högtiden tas upp i skolan
Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka fem Reggio Emilia-inspirerade förskollärares kunskaper om och förhållningssätt till barns begynnande skrivutveckling. Studien syftar också till att undersöka om och i så fall på vilket sätt dessa kunskaper påverkas av Reggio Emilia-inspirationen. Datainsamlingsmetoden som används är kvalitativ samtalsintervju, där respondenternas kunskaper synliggjorts i syfte att utröna tankemönster och kartlägga uppfattningar. Dessa intervjuer har analyserats och sammanställts utifrån fem kategorier. Studien tar sin utgångspunkt i literacy-forskning, som beskriver människans socialisering i den skriftspråkliga världen. Studiens resultat visar att respondenternas kunskaper om barns begynnande skrivutveckling är varierande, och kan ofta härledas till förskollärarnas intresse. Reggio Emilia-inspirationen tycks bidra till en ökad medvetenhet om barns olika uttrycksformer, men tidig skrivutveckling fokuseras inte. Synen på förskolans roll för barns tidiga skrivutveckling framställs betydelsefull och resultatet visar att samtliga respondenter lyfter detta.

Joint Venture inom finansbranschen : En fallstudie av samarbetet mellan Credit Suisse och Orn & Cie SA
AbstractThis paper intends, through a qualitative study to examine and analyze how a particular type of financial firms cooperate, and what this entails. The case study issue which shall be answered is "What does the firms Credit Suisse and Orn & Cie SA gain out of cooperating with each other?". By setting the general theories in the subject joint ventures, partnerships, against the empirical material gathered via interviews and data collection in Geneva, Switzerland answers to what the cooperation between the two parties has resulted in for the respective companies has been found. The survey shows that the prevailing model of cooperation creates significant benefits for the two companies.
Lärares syn på inkludering i grundskolans tidigare år
This study has examined how teachers in primary education with experience of inclusion look on inclusive education. The study was based on the concept of inclusion and how it is made possible in primary school. The study was conducted using semi-structured qualitative life-world interviews with three teachers in primary education with included pupils with learning disabilities in their class. The results show the complexity of having a pupil with learning disabilities in class. To interpret, follow and then assess under two syllabuses are seen as difficult.

The purpose of our study is to provide a deeper understanding of the organization at alive concert. We want to identify and bring together different agents implicit knowledge and make it explicit. We contribute to the theoretical discussion by examining how liveconcerts are organized and why, what goals there are to participate in the organizationof the concerts as well as how the organization manage and control towards these goals.Our study is based on 15 interviews with different agents involved in the creation of liveconcerts. The study has shown that the organization of live concerts is similar to atemporary, imaginary organization because there is a temporary and implicit structure.Relationships are created by the agents? cooperation and customer relations with thesubcontractors.
Kulturarv som begrepp och realitet : En fråga om val, värde och politik i den offentliga sektorn
This paper examines the concept of heritage and which factors that determines how we evaluate and select what should be considered cultural heritage. This has been examined using a qualitative study involving interviews with seven people working within different parts of the cultural heritage sector. The purpose was to get a picture of what the public sector?s cultural heritage consists of and why so. The research question was: What gives the status of cultural heritage? This was examined by looking at further questions: What defines the concept of cultural heritage? Who decides what should be considered cultural heritage? What is significant when discussing cultural heritage? One conclusion is that the concept itself is experienced as diffuse but that the meaning can be summarized as the traces we leave behind to be preserved by future generations.
