This report is a degree paper made for the Engineering program in Technical Chemistry at the School of Engineering, Jönköping University.The intention of the project which is described, is to answer whether HV71 might become environmentally certified according to the criteria of "miljödiplomering". The project also included an investigation of which further steps and measures must be undertaken by the enterprise in order to achieve the certificate. The final part was to implement the necessary requirements for the certification.The report starts with a short background where the origin and function of environmental management is briefly explained.The report continues with how the practical work with the environmental certification was done according to requirements of Jönköping municipality. This is the final documentation of the basis that can be the foundation of how to solve theproblem with leaking hydraulic oil in a shoe press at the company Albany InternationalAB in Halmstad, Sweden.The project has been performed at Halmstad University as a degree project commissionedby Albany International AB. The purpose of the degree project was to find a way ofdetecting the hydraulic leak of a shoe press. The reason is that the shoe press runsunattended during nights and weekends, this can cause an extensive decontaminationwork and production stop if leak. The hydraulic oil could be leaking in large amounts orslowly as a fine mist. The development of a working system that can detect a hydraulicoil leak and stop the machine before a large amount of hydraulic oil leaks out wouldconsiderably reduce the cost of the decontamination work.

The target audience is people living in areas where the functioning of the electricity and water network is absent. In these areas, the hand-powered water pump is the most common technology. The degree project's goal is to find an economically viable alternative to the time consuming hand-powered water pumps. The power comes from solar energy.

This report aims to study the condominium prices in central Stockholm and the factors thataffect these prices. A linear regression model was set up and data about relevant covariatessuch as floor area, mortgage rates and where the condominium is situated were gathered toassess if and how they influence the price. The raw data was processed and enhanced to gain asmuch relevant information as possible to the model. To determine the covariates? influence onthe final price, regressions were ran and various tests were performed on the output data.

Syftet med examensarbetet var att beskriva och analysera vilka likheter och skillnader som finns i arbetet med demokrati och politik i samhällskunskap på grundskolans senare del och gymnasiets samhällskunskap A vad gäller uppnåendemål, undervisning och bedömning. Studien genomfördes utifrån en kvalitativ metod där två lärare på grundskolan och två lärare på gymnasiet blev intervjuade. Resultatet visar att det finns flera likheter i planering, undervisningsmetoder, använt material och bedömning mellan grundskolan och gymnasiet i arbetet med demokrati och politik. Lärarna på grundskolan och gymnasiet har en liknande syn på vad eleven bör kunna för att uppnå målen. Studien visar dock att uppnåendemålen uttrycker att det ska råda en progression och en viss repetition av ämnesområdet på gymnasiet.

95% of the productive forest land in Sweden are now being exploited for forestry. The new Forestry Act of 1993 equate the goal of production and the environmental goal which means that the objective for forestry is a sustainable yield, while the biological diversity must be preserved. Recent years results from the inventories of the Board of Forestry show declining trends in how nature conservation aspects taken into consideration at the felling sites.The aim of this study is to investigate what happends with the nature consideration taken at felling sites in the long run. 20 final fellings in the county of Östergötland were re-inventoried 7-9 years after final felling. These felling sites had previously been inventoried before final felling (P0) and one year after final felling (P1) in the inventory Polytax by the Board of Forestry.

För att undersöka eventuella skillnader mellan vilka matematiska kompetenser som prövas på IB-programmet och svenska nationella program har en analys av matematikuppgifter från de olika programmen genomförts. På IB-programmet har uppgifter från final exam i mathematical studiesstandard level gjorts och från de svenska en analys av uppgifter från nationella prov i matematik B och C. Analysen har genomförts med hjälp av kompetensramverk framtaget av Palm et al. (2004). Med hjälp av kompetensramverket har nyckelord och uppgiftstyper för de olika kompetenserna tagits fram för att kategorisera in uppgifter till en kompetens som är kärnan i uppgiften.

The final stage of a designers work is always a bit tricky. Design is an abstract phenomenon and no one can tell when a design is really finished. The design process that designers work within has been thoroughly studied but cannot be truly mapped with strict constraints which the designer can follow to succeed. Therefore, in this paper we take a look at the final stage in the design process. The main goal is to get more knowledge and highlight key factors about what designers face when they are about finish their design or what forces them to leave a project that can stay in development for eternity.

Bo Lindqvist, R & D manager has been the contact person at Etac.During the project the students has had a workplace at Semcon Caran AB in Karlstad. Semcon has also been helpful as a sounding board.The objective of the work has been developing a new, wall mounted shower chair, assigned for persons with difficulty to stand up while showering.Etacs requirement of the shower chair is that it should be able to support a user with a weight of 100 kg, the chair shouldn?t have any outrigger, optional should be armrests and backrest.

Syftet med denna kvalitativa studie har varit att undersöka hur två elevgrupper från gymnasiets IV program har uppfattat sin arbetsplatsförlagda utbildning (APU) samt det studiestöd som har erbjudits dem under sin skolgång. Metod som använts är djupintervju på den elevgruppen som gick sista gymnasieåret och telefonintervju på den elevgrupp som slutat gymnasiet året innan. Bägge undersökningsgrupperna var mycket nöjda med genomförandet och upplägget med APUn men många elever hade hoppats på att få någon slags anställning efter genomförandet, särskilt de elever som redan hade slutat gymnasiet. Många fick inte denna möjligheten och står därmed till Arbetsförmedlingens förfogande idag. Undersökningsgrupperna hade svårt att peka ut vad som var studiestöd för dem eftersom de under hela sin gymnasietid har varit omgärdad av stöd. Nästan alla uppskattade ändå möjligheten att få mer tid på sig att genomföra sina kurser och en av grupperna både fick och uppskattade möjligheten att få hjälp av assistent i klassrummet. Några i den äldre gruppen uttryckte missnöje över att det var stökigt i klassrummet, även de som hade orsakat det.
