Speedledger is a company that is working to automate electronic accounting for businesses, organizations and associations.In the current situation bank data is sent from the users internet bank to Speedledger via a virtual printer driver. The driver transforms the web page into a PDF and sends it to a server for interpretation.The problem is that PDF is not created for this sort of data transfer and makes the interpretation of data is very problematic.The goal of the thesis is to study whether there is a possibility to develop a browser add-on that can retrieve information on the customer's banking page and send it on to Speedledgers server for interpretation. My task was to implement a add-on for one of the three major browsers Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Microsoft Internet Explorer, and then study the possibility of implementing it to the other two by reading the documentation.What I concluded was that it is possible to implement for all the three browsers. However, the techniques will differ slightly when developing these add-ons.  .

The goal with this project was to achieve real-time synchronized video playback over the Internet, or in other words, that multiple clients play the same part of a video at the same time.The result shows how it is possible to build such a protocol, that gives a user experience that the video is synchronized between computers when playing a locally stored file, stream or video delivered using progressive download. This was achieved by designing, then role playing to find weaknesses, and at last implementing the protocols to see how they work in practice. By using such a protocol, it is possible to navigate and discuss around a video in for example a telephone conference, and be sure that everybody is looking on the same picture..

Under utbildningen Medie- och kommunikationsteknik utfördes detta examensarbete på våren 2006 åt STRAX media i Linköping. Eftersom STRAX media kände att det var dags att de marknadsförde sig på Internet tyckte de att det var en utmärkt idé att en examensarbetare skulle göra hemsidan åt dem. Denna hemsida är ett sätt för STRAX media att visa vad de erbjuder samt vilka de är som driver företaget. Hemsidan är uppbyggd av HTML och PHP och den är kopplad mot en SQL-databas. Syftet med rapporten är att ge läsaren en enkel insikt om hur jag skapade hemsidan åt STRAX media genom att ge exempel och bilder.Planeringen som gjordes bra och således kunde hemsidan läggas ut inom den planerade tidsramen.

En jämförelse mellan HTML5-canvas 2D-grafiska utritningar och WebGL med assistans av Three.js utritningar. Detta görs med hjälp av en illustration av en golfsving. Tidtagning sker med benchmarking via JavaScript. Testerna är utförda på Firefox, Google Chrome och Internet Explorer. Experimentets hypotes är att 2D utritningar är snabbare än 3D utritningar.

This essay is written at the university of Linköping and is a part of the teachers education. The intire essay is available on CD-rom. Its content is directed towards teachers who entirely or partly works, or want to work, in computereducation. The CD-rom contains both textmaterial and presentations, with teacherinstructions, wich are directly appliable in teaching computers. The teachingmaterial on the CD-rom is based on an empiric survey with different computerteachers.

The purpose of this project was to investigate whether it was possible to develop a type of application, where users would solve chess problems. The main goal of the project was that there would exist an functional application after the study has ended with which users could solve chess problems on a computer. One subgoal of the project was to create corresponding application for mobile phones. The study was limited to require users to have at least Internet Explorer 9 +. For other browsers, there were no corresponding limitations.

Songs from the Crypt: Mapping the Forces that Hinder the Digital Revolution of Music Distribution This paper seeks an explanation to the low market share growth of the commercial digital music distribution in Sweden. The analysis identifies a spectrum of obstacles that hinder the digital distribution technology from becoming the main form of music distribution in Sweden. These obstacles make the digital music distribution less favourable in comparison with physical distribution from the consumer?s point of view. The authors suggest that in order for the digital distribution of music to become competitive the digital product would either have to be developed further to offer more customer value or the so called a là carte retail model would have to be replaced by a subscription-based distribution model.

Personer med vissa kognitiva funktionsnedsättningar har ibland svårt att använda en vanlig webbläsare. Detta gör internet mindre tillgängligt för denna grupp. Med hjälp av en anpassad webbläsare med förenklat gränssnitt och funktionalitet finns förhoppning om att användarvänlighetsbarriärer för internetanvändning hos dessa personer skall minska och att användningen skall kunna vara mer självständig.Som teknisk målplattform används Microsoft Windows med Internet Explorer och utvecklingen genomfördes inom .NET med C#. Ett mål med den tekniska implementationen var att till så stor del som möjligt utnyttja redan installerad programvara på målsystemen och därmed minimera behovet av programuppdateringar, vilket skulle göra programmet mer framtidssäkert, samt minimera mängden administration av programmet. Tester genomförda på Västmanlands läns landstings Datatek på Handikappcentrum i Västerås gav positivt resultat.  Användarna kunde fokusera på de webbsidor de besökte och personalen kunde snabbt ställa in programmet för användaren..

Patienter med kronisk njursvikt som genomga?r hemodialys spenderar i genomsnitt tre till fyra ga?nger i veckan samt tre till fem timmar per tillfa?lle pa? hemodialysbehandling. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva livskvaliteten hos patienter med kronisk njursvikt som genomga?r hemodialysbehandling. Metoden som anva?ndes var en litteraturstudie.

The use of vision applications are growing and the demand for integration and connectivity with other industrial automation control devices is increasing. Some businesses that are using vision technology follow US Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) regulation concerning audit trail. This thesis investigates the possibility to use vision technology for counting objects, achieving connectivity and to follow FDAs audit trail regulation. A market survey has been used to select suitable hardware and software to be used in the design of an application that is able to count objects and that uses standard industrial network connection i.e. OPC data access and Microsoft?s .NET components over Ethernet.

IT-avdelningen på Billerud på Skärblacka bruk i Östergötland har efterfrågat ett mer avancerat ärendehanteringssystem. Systemet är tänkt att användas för att dokumentera och följa upp kundkontakter i det dagliga arbetet samt skapa underlag för att mäta svarstider, tillgänglighet och förbättra rutiner. För att minska tiden för installation ska systemet vara webbaserat och gå att använda från en dator med webbläsaren Internet Explorer. I det här examensarbetet har vi utvecklat ett webbaserat ärendehanteringssystem åt IT-avdelningen på Skärblacka bruk. Systemet är modulbaserat och hanterar ärenden via webbformulär.

This thesis has been done at the Unversity of Örebro for Örebro University Hospital (USÖ). In our work we have developed a product for hearing tests to determine hearing thresholds of small children. Our product contains software and a control surface for controlling two separate screens. One of the demands was that our software could handle big file libraries. Reliability and simplicity were essential for the user.In our work we have utilized programming of both microcontrollers and Windows software.

Abstrakt: Den illegala fildelningen har blivit ett omdiskuterat ämne runt om i världen sedan fildelningstjänsten Napster skapades av unge Shawn Fanning. På senare år har flera nya fildelningstekniker utvecklas och upphovsrättskyddat material delas ut och laddas ner av hundratusentals tals personer runt om i Sverige. Syftet med rapporten är att ge en beskrivning av tekniker och lagar som tillämpas inom illegal fildelning. Samt att beskriva olika aktörer som figurerar inom den illegala fildelningen och vilka åtgärder de tillämpar för att fortsätta och skydda sin verksamhet..

We where asked to write a webapplication, with similar functionalityas an existing desktop application. The application can todayrecord sounds from a person, mix it together at the optimal place withanother, similar sound and play back the result.The application used mathematical calculation that the developerswhere not familiar with, therefore it was decided to focus on the partsthat involved recording and playing sound, to pave the way for anyfuture implementation.The follwing prototypes where implemneted:1. Read a sound clip from a file.2. Splicing of two sound clips at different points in the clips.3. Generate the sound of a guitar.The result of this evaluation is that web browsers today are notready for this type of application, but that there is potetial as soonas W3C have standardised the use of a microphone as a source to theexisting DSP functions..
