AimThe purpose of this dissertation is to find out what discrimination of salary means and if the legislation that exists in Sweden, regarding same salary for the same or similar work, effects sports and if the way that the sportindustry divide salaries are acceptable. The purpose is also to find out if discrimination of salary exist within swedish handball and if this is a reason why swedish ladies handball is not professional. The framing of questions that have been processed is:1. Does discrimination of salary occur in swedish handball?2.

The public libraries in Sweden has an obligation to serve all of its citizens, but despite of this they often fail to include their LGBTQ-patrons. Since the year of 2008 RFSL (the Swedish Federation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Rights) have arranged a specially designed certification-process based on normcritical criterias that a chosen institution should fulfill to make their work more inclusive for LGBTQ-people. Sollentuna is the first municipal in Sweden to certificate all of their libraries. This study aims to examine what the certification have meant for the public library in Sollentuna and how a normcritical view can contribute to include LGBTQ-patrons at the library. As a method we used a qualitative interview-study to get a full picture of the certification-process and its influence on the public library of Sollentuna.

Mitt huvudsakliga syfte med denna uppsats har varit att fördjupa mig i subjektiva upplevelser och erfarenheter av flyktingskap och invandrarskap och dess villkor i det svenska samhället utifrån några berättande kvinnors perspektiv. Avsikten var att gå bortom de rådande stereotypa föreställningarna och i stället synliggöra kvinnorna genom deras egna historier och ansträngningar att skapa ett nytt och normalt liv i Sverige. Jag intervjuade några bosniska kvinnor, krigsflyktingar som kom till Sverige för ungefär tio år sedan. De intervjuade kvinnorna är över 40 år gamla och var yrkesarbetande i Bosnien. Jag har använt mig av en kvalitativ metod med ostrukturerade intervjuer.

The aim of this thesis is to study a number of standards and theories, from the two research areas human-computer interaction and psychology, about how a graphical user interface (GUI) should be composed in order to facilitate interaction between humans and computers. Special emphasis is put on how the GUI should take into consideration the strengths and limitations of human cognition and perception. A study of three web catalogues shows how these theories appear when concretised. The following questions are answered in this thesis:What guidelines and styleguides can be found that specify the design of a user-friendly GUI?How do a few library catalogues on the web match a selection of these design principles?The guidelines are extracted from literature concerning human-computer interaction, psychology, automated library systems and web design.

Sports associations play a very important role in the Swedish civil society, and since the 1st of July 1987 they have been exempted from the duty to pay VAT. By introducing an sufficiently closely related. The acquisition, organization and storage of information in combination with a strategic use, is today an important factor for a successful organisation in any sector of our society.In this Master thesis I have studied how an organisation such as The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise (Svenskt Näringsliv) handles its information resources. I have also looked at the flow of information within the organization. The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise is Sweden?s largest business federation representing 50 member organizations and 55 000 member companies.

Aim. The aim of this study is to analyze the living conditions of physically disabled people from the viewpoint of sexuality issues with regards to personal assistance services, identity and attitudes in society on disability and sexuality. Background. Not much research is done on sexuality issues for physically disabled people. Even though we live in a society where sexuality takes up a lot of space in the media, the culture and is acknowledged to be of great importance for every person?s wellbeing, the sexuality of disabled people is often not recognized and discussed.

Det här examensarbetet har utförts på BoRö Pannan AB, som är ledande inom norden då det gäller tillverkning av ackumulatortankar och solfångare. Den största verksamheten ligger i Kalix, men verksamhet finns också i Motala, Övertorneå och Bosnien. Syftet med projektarbetet var att försöka korta deras ledtider för att bland annat förbättra omsättningen och effektivisera produktionsflödet genom fabriken i Kalix så att icke värdeadderande arbete kunde minimeras. För att åstadkomma detta så utnyttjades det existerande verktyget värdeflödesanalys. För kartläggningen av nuläget så valdes ackumulatortanken IVT 185/40 FR.

AimThe aim of this study was to map the injury panorama of traumatic injuries related to ice hockey in Sweden 2006-2011. In addition to that the aim was to compare whether there were any gender differences regarding traumatic ice hockey injuries. MethodThe present study was based on data from the Folksam insurance company between 2006 and 2011. The population consisted of ice hockey players in a club affiliated to the Swedish Ice Hockey Federation and that had sustained a traumatic injury related to ice hockey that resulted in medical care and then was reported to Folksam. The results are presented with descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviation, median range and frequencies. ResultsThe head was the most common injury localization followed by the upper extremity where the shoulder accounted for a high number of injuries. Fracture was the most common type of injury for both male and female players.

AimThe purpose with this study is to evaluate the selectationprocess and what happened with Swedish basketball players born 1986-89, that were selected to participate in Miki Herkel Cup (MHC), which is a camp for the 60 most talented players in Sweden.Metod  Together with the Swedish basketball federation, we decided to survey those who attended MHC as well as the players playing in the senior national team 2009.  The data collection has been made through a survey, with multiple choice questions in order to get as good as possible view of what factors that had influenced their development as basketball players. The survey was sent out to all players born 1986-89 that attended MHC and the senior national team of 2009. We used an electronic survey tool called questback which is an internetsurvey and sent out the survey to 320 players. To collect information we´ve searched within literature and databases.Result  18 % of the players answered the survey, which decreases the research validity.
