Konsumtion av mode har gått från att tillfredsställa våra grundläggande behov till att vara ett sätt att uttrycka identitet, status och grupptillhörighet. Behoven möts genom mode, det går dock att ifrågasätta huruvida behoven är möjliga att tillfredsställa. Vår empiriska studie visar att unga kvinnors konsumtion av mode främst handlar om att uttrycka identitet, att belöna sig själv och att känna ett stärkt självförtroende. Mode är ett sätt att uttrycka sin personlighet. I uppsatsen diskuteras huruvida unga kvinnors konsumtion av mode går hand i hand med fast fashion konceptet.

The society of today is overflowed with information and commercials. There is a thick media noise that the marketers finds hard to penetrate. Bearing this in mind, we can see that Event Marketing, witch is marketing through events, has grown to be a popular form of communication as it has an ability to work its way through the existing media noise. Through events a company can strengthen its brand and image as well as form a lasting relationship with its consumers. What other functions does Event Marketing possess? In what context is Event Marketing an appropriate marketing strategy to use? These are two questions that we aim to answer through this essay.To be able to answer these questions we interviewed the marketing manager of two different companies, L´oréal and TeliaSonera.

Antingen ställs maskinerna om inför varje stock för att sågmönstret ska passa denna på bästa sätt och på så sätt få ut ett så högt värde som möjligt ur varje stock. Denna metod kallas ?rörlig postning?. Den andra metoden går ut på att dela upp stockarna i timmerklasser så att stockar av liknande dimensioner hamnar tillsammans och sågas efter varandra.

Avvänjningsdiarré är vanligt förkommande hos smågrisar i svenska grisstall. En anledning till detta kan vara att griskultingen inte har ätit av den fasta födan som erbjudits, utan endast fått i sig mjölk från suggan fram till avvänjningen. Detta innebär att kultingen inte haft någon chans att utveckla de nödvändiga enzymer i mag-tarmkanal som behövs för att kunna tillgodogöra sig fast föda. Denna studie går ut på att se om det finns en möjlighet, genom att studera griskultingars digivningsbeteende på ett tidigt stadium, att förutse om en kulting ligger i farozonen för att få avvänjningsdiarré. Studien förutsätter då att intag av fast föda är en av faktorerna som motverkar avvänjningsdiarré.

Even if it?s a newspaper research or a magazine research they all display the same information. That there are differences in the way that women and men are described or portrayed in articles and pictures. Most of these gender studies are made on a basis of magazines that are mainly intended to men or to women.

Sustainable beef and milk consumption. The consumption of beef and dairy products in Sweden is high. A lot of greenhouse gases are emitted from the production of these products. The production of beef in Sweden has decreased but the import has increased. The number of dairy cows has decreased while beef-production with suckler-cows has increased in Sweden.

This study examines the eWOM effect, more specifically: how customer reviews effects consumers. The study is based on a modified version of the Regulatory Focus Theory which describes consumer behavior using consumer consumption goals. The purpose of this study was to examine how positive and negative customer review's influence consumers when analyzing products that are equally characterized by two consumption goals: promotion and prevention goals. The authors combined quantitative (questionnaire) and qualitative (focus groups) research methods with the sample selection for both research methods being based on students of Södertörns University. Results indicate that negative customer reviews have a stronger influence on consumers than positive customer reviews when analyzing products that are equally characterized by the promotion goals and prevention goals.

Den metod jag använt mig av vid författandet av denna uppsats har bestått av litteraturstudier i form av lag, förarbeten, praxis och doktrin. AbstractBackgroundEvery company has some kind of employee turnover and we can tell that som business has higher employee turnover than other business. Employee turnover is individual for all companies but in companies that is in the same business simularities can be seen. The employee turnover in the line of business hotel, merchandise trade and restaurants was according to Confederation of Swedish Enterprise closer to 40 % during the period of 2006-2007 and close to the business with highest turnover, the service sector. This is comparable to the buildning activity that with it?s 22 % is one of the business with lowest turnover.

Local charges may induce people to change their pattern of consumption by influencing investments and acts in certain directions. Some charges could for example give people incentives to use less natural resources. This study investigates four different local charges and whether they benefit an economical management with natural resources or not. This is carried out by investigating whether there is a polarity between local charges that may influence environmental actions or goods, and effective pollution control set to achieve certain nationally determined environmental goals. The study includes two economic perspectives and investigates on the one hand whether local charges counteract governmental subsidies and on the other hand whether the charges vary between the different municipalities since large differences may lead to cost inefficiency.

A change towards using more biofuels than fossil fuels is taking place in Sweden, and in many other parts of the world. This makes the use of fuel pellets increasingly popular, causing a greater demand for sawmill sawdust products. There is a trend towards the use of multiple types of shredders, instead of a single type in each sawmill. The purpose of the study was to characterize the different flows of saw particles that can be found at Sävar såg when cutting thick or thin wood with different cutting techniques. The saw particles size, shape, moisture content and heat value were analysed by the cutting stations: first cutting fast and slow, second cutting fast and slow, grading fast and slow and planning.
