This study intends to examine teacher´s thoughts and perception of esthetic activities at preschools. I have chosen to restrict the esthetic area to the significance and function of clay to the teachers and children. On the basis of the belief that children can, and need access to a variety of ways to express themselves, we used the interviews to take part of teachers work and thoughts concerning clay, and the esthetic work. I have in this qualitative study addressed four questions: How do the teachers use clay in preschool activities? What do the teachers think about clay as a tool in the educational work at the preschool? Are the teachers working from the perception of children?s rights to express themselves in different ways and with the help of different tools? What function does clay fill for the children?I have interviewed eight teachers and taken part of both older and more recent theories around children and the creativity in esthetic contexts.

Syfte: Studiens syfte var att undersöka samband mellan hur universitetsstudenter skattar sin fysiska aktivitetsnivå och hur de registrerar aktivitetsnivå med hjälp av dagbok samt att se om de kom upp i ACSM (American College of Sport Medicine) och WHO´s (World Health Organisation) rekommendationer.Metod: Studien hade en icke experimentell, deskriptiv och korrelerande design där 26 försökspersoner, två män och 24 kvinnor, rekryterades via anslag. De fick först svara på en enkät och därefter registrera sin aktivitet via en 7-dagars aktivitetsdagbok.Resultat: Studenterna ansåg inte att de hade en stillasittande livsstil och alla deltagare utom en ansåg sig komma upp till ACSM´s rekommendationer av fysisk aktivitet 30 minuter per dag av måttlig intensitet alla dagar i veckan. Trettiofem procent kom inte upp i WHO´s rekommendationer och av dessa överskattade 67% sin fysiska aktivitetsnivå. Sextiofem procent kom inte upp i ACSM´s rekommendationer och av dessa överskattade 94% sin aktivitetsnivå.Konklusion: Studenterna hade en låg fysisk aktivitetsnivå utifrån ACSM´s rekommendationer och majoriteten av de som inte levde upp till WHO och ACSM rekommendationer överskattade sin fysiska aktivitetsnivå. Det krävs dock mer omfattande studier för att dra några generella slutsatser då denna studie hade en skev könsfördelning och ett lågt antal deltagare.Keywords: Self-estimation, Perception, Activity diary, Physical Activity level, Overestimation. .

AbstractThis study is based on my work as a secondary school teacher of literature and the Swedish language and rooted in my interest in developing knowledge about the importance of teaching literature in order to both cultivate young people?s reading habits and their view of themselves as readers. The more concrete purpose of this study is to examine a reading project that focuses on theories of literary perception and teaching literature.I examine four pupils who, in 2003, participated in the reading project as readers and compare this description with their view of themselves as readers seven years later. I complete the study by examining how they discuss reading and the teaching of literature. The method is qualitative and the empirics include materiel collected in two different time periods: first in 2003, in a class I taught in a secondary school; and second in 2010, when I examined four of the former pupils who participated in the project from 2003.

Forskningsfrågor: Vilken är den teoretiska potentialen för sinnesmarknadsföring? Vilken är den subjektivt varsebliva potentialen bland butikschefer? Vilka är skillnaderna mellan den praktiska och teoretiska potentialen?Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva butikschefers subjektiva perception av potential för sinnesmarknadsföring och analysera det med hjälp utav teoretisk potential för sinnesmarknadsföring för att se skillnaderna emellan, samt tillhandahålla rekommendationer för hur företag kan skapa sinnesupplevelser.Metod: Studien är gjord utav kvalitativmetod. Författarna har utfört intervjuer med fyra olika butikschefer inom livsmedelssektorn. Därefter har författarna analyserat datamaterialet med hjälp utav de utvalda teorierna.Slutsatser: De verktyg som används för att skapa upplevelse i den interiöra butiksmiljön är begränsad. I vissa fall blir den begränsad utav ekonomiska skäl och i andra fall utav andra aspekter.

There is a relationship between confidence in management and personnel satisfaction. The personnel?s confidence in management can be seen as a fundamental tool which is needed to ensure the success of the organizations mandate. This study investigates how management works to create and maintain confidence. The conditions that management has for building confidence are explored, as well as the significance of leadership in the building of confidence.

Bakgrund: Koncentrations- och uppmärksamhetsförmågorna är betydelsefulla att inneha för att barnen ska kunna tillgodogöra sig lärandet fullt ut i skolan. Koncentration betyder att kunna behålla sin sin uppmärksamhet under en viss tid, utan att tankarna drar iväg. För de barnen som har svårigheter med att samordna sin perception, samt rikta sina tankar mot ett särskilt ändamål, får besvärligheter inom olika områden, som i sin tur påverkar deras beteende. Det kan medföra en negativ inverkan på deras relation till sin omgivning. Genom yoga- och mindfulnessövningar, tränas närvaron och koncentrationen, vilket resulterar till att barnen blir lugnare och därmed blir det lättare för dem att rikta sin uppmärksamhet mot det som ska läras i skolan.Syftet: Vårt syfte med den här litteraturstudien var att undersöka, beskriva och sammanställa om asanas, meditation och andningsövningar, så kallade yoga- och mindfulnessbaserade övningar, hade utövats av barn i forskningssammanhang inom skolmiljön.Metod: Litteraturstudie med innehåll av tretton vetenskapliga artiklar.Resultat: Barnen förbättrade sin koncentrations- och uppmärksamhetsförmåga.

Hur fungerar teckning som ett resonerande verktyg? Vad ger den utforskande handlingen upphov till? I mitt examensarbete söker jag efter referenser och begrepp som styrker min mening om vårt behov av att utveckla tecknandet (en handling som i följande används i en vidare bemärkelse). Som landskapsarkitekter är det viktigt att vi skapar vårat eget förhållande till den verklighet som omger oss ? och sätter den i relation till andras ? för att fungera som formgivare. Genom att utforska världen och dess landskap erhåller vi nya perspektiv och breddar vårat vetande. Med utgångspunkt i gestaltpsykologin, enligt Rudolf Arnheim behandlar jag förhållandet perception ? registrering ? teckning, vilket utgör den outtalade grunden för det som lärs ut på konst- och designutbildningar idag.

Collaborative music making on the Internet is not a new phenomenon, but no applications have yet caught on with the vast number of laptop and bedroom studio musicians active today. This is strange considering the inherent social and interactive nature of music, especially amongst trends like Web 2.0 where collaboration and user-generated data is key. In this paper I study the problems these applications face, and why they do not have a greater appeal to musicians. H&M and Canada Goose and too distinguish potential gender related differences in their perceptions.Material/Method: A questionnaire about fashion brands delivered to three schools in the Stockholm area.Main results: Teenagers perceptions of the three fashion brands Gucci, H&M and Canada Goose are more different than similar. This differences in teenagers perceptions are discernible in a comparison between the most usual and unusual associations that are related to each of the brands. Gucci is associated with success, wealth, excitement and uniqueness. H&M is for example seen as earth-bound and has in a comparison with the other brands reached the highest level of positive associations.

Talperceptionstest har skapats för att få information om hur en person kan uppfatta ochdiskriminera mellan språkljud. HöraTal Test 1.1 är ett omfattande analytiskt datorbaserattalperceptionstest. Testet är anpassat för icke läskunniga barn från fyra års ålder. Det ärframtaget för barn med hörselnedsättning och/eller cochleaimplantat men kan ävenanvändas för barn med neurologisk skada, specifik språkstörning och/eller annatförstaspråk än svenska. Huvudsyftet med studien är att ta fram ett referensmaterial för hurnormalhörande barn med normal språkutveckling i åldern 4;0 till och med 5;11 årpresterar på HöraTal Test.

They have not been entitled to the economic support that is given to Swedish parties with more than 2,5 percent of the votes in the last two elections. As a result Fi is completely dependent on economic contributions.

Gender equality and gender equality work is relevant for today's working life, and previously male-dominated occupations may be increasingly under pressure to become more equal. This paper aims to explore and understand how the firefighters at a station are experiencing gender and gender equality in rescue services.Using theories of how sex is done, how a power perspective and a structural approach can show men's and women's different conditions in an organization, and theories that are more specific to gender and change management the firefighters talk about gender and gender equality are analyzed. Essay results were collected through interviews with seven firefighters and then analyzed and interpreted with the help of theories.The analysis shows that there is a perception among the firefighters that men and women are biologically different and that required physical strength legitimizes the exclusion of women. Inequality is seen as something natural and by pursuing an active gender equality women are given unwarranted benefits. When physical strength becomes a legitimate reason for exclusion, the responsibility for gender inequality is put on women and that women don?t have what it takes.There is also a resistance against gender equality analyzed in the paper, and it's stated opposition seems to be directed against the management's way of recruiting women.

This thesis has enlightened how consumer behavior is when buying clothes via the Internet and the problems and difficulties that could face the companies. This study was conducted through interviews with people that have bought clothes through the Internet, traditional catalogues and real stores. The conclusions showed that the Internet is as suitable as traditional catalogues for buying clothes. Another dimension were put to the aspect of availability to a virtual mall in the design of the catalogues. Finally, it is in the best of the e-business companies interest to study how e-catalogues should be structured and designed for the consumers..

Målet med vår uppsats är att undersöka och analysera ungdomars användning av Facebook. Genom intervjuer med 10 gymnasieelever från Stockholm kommer vi granska om Facebook skapar ett narcissistiskt beteende. För att förklara detta utgår vi från teorier om narcissismens kultur, svaga bands styrka, symbolisk interaktionism och dramaturgiska perspektiv. Vi har i denna uppsats kommit fram till att det existerar narcissistiskt beteende, i form av respondenternas attityder och deras syn på andra medlemmar.      .
