BakgrundSystemet för containertransporter karaktäriseras utav stora omlastningshamnar som fungerar somhubbar för containertrafik från omkringliggande områden. Mindre fartyg och järnvägsförbindelseranpassade för containertransport trafikerar dessa områden och kallas för feedertransporter. Det hargivit en möjlighet för exportinriktade företag i dessa områden att skicka sitt gods i mindre volymerper sändning med bibehållen servicegrad. För att feedertransporter ska trafikera dessa områdenkrävs det att många företag skickar sitt gods i container.Det är alltså av stor vikt att många företag använder container som lastbärare. På senare år med den fortsatta globaliseringen har miljöfrågor blivit allt viktigare. Eftersom transportsektorn står för en stor del av den totala miljöpåverkan är det viktigt att logistikföretagen tar ett miljömässigt ansvar och arbetar med så kallad grön logistik. På grund avde ökade avstånden vid global handel och ökade bränslepriser är det viktigt med miljövänliga alternativ. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur de globala logistikföretagen bedriver sitt miljöarbete, främst kring transporterna. Detta sker genom en studie av vetenskapliga artiklar och intervjuer med miljöansvariga hos Schenker, DHL och Green Cargo.

Export is a top priority for Sweden's economy but for Swedish companies it may involve uncomfortable risks of exporting without sincere consideration. When the United Nations Security Council puts an embargo against a country, this often mean an import and export restriction. The thought is to push undemocratic regimes into respecting human rights. When the embargo is in force, however, the parties are not able to fulfill their contractual obligations, which practically means that the agreement will be suspended. The problem is what happens when an embargo is in force for a longer period of time.

The purpose of this assignment is to develop a process water purifier. The purifier should be applicable as an option to ABB I-R?s production cell Cutting-Box. At first hand the process water should be purified well enough to let out in the municipal sewage system, but the ultimate solution is purifying the process water to the range that recycling is possible.

AbstractBusiness, or business decisions always involves an endangerment from the company?s aspect, but when it comes to business with foreign countries the risk profile looks quite different from the profile the company has when its doing business inside the country. Therefore, it is extremely important for an export company or import company to carefully consider the risks that are enclosed with the deal, before he makes the decision to enter a deal. One of the most important risks a company have to considerate when doing business with foreign countries is the currency risk. A company is exposed to currency risk when either long-term or short-term changes in the exchange rate may affect the result of the company, competitive position and growth.

Increasing volatility and less political intervention from the CAP in the market price of wheat is making it more difficult than in the past for Swedish farmers to determine the price at which they should sell their wheat. In the past, the Swedish farmer-owned company Lantmännen has traditionally set a guideline price for Swedish wheat every year to which farmers could adapt, but ceased doing so last year. Therefore this study sought to identify the parameters on which the price of wheat is dependent on by using a reduced form model. The perspective adopted was that of farmers. The model proved able to identify the main factors determining the annual price fluctuations in wheat, with all variables included having an impact on the wheat price, except export quantity in the previous year.

How affected are the sugar production in Mozambique and Tanzania by EU sugar regime? What does the EU sugar reform constitute in these countries?Using theories regarding free trade and anti-free trade, I am able to answer these questions. The aim of this paper is to study how the various sugar agreements with EU affect the sugar production in Mozambique and Tanzania. Therefore I am using a method called a most similar system design in this comparative case study. The conclusion is that the EU sugar regime is the main reason to how the sugar productions in developing countries are.

Vi har i den här studien valt att undersöka problematiken mindre och medelstora företag upplever med en indirekt marknadskontakt. Med hjälp av en kvalitativ forskningsmetod och en flerfallstudie har vi intervjuat fyra företag och på så sätt granskat hur relationerna mellan företagen ser ut med syfte att undersöka företagens möjlighet att säkerställa sin identitet i en piggybackingprocess. Vidare har vi granskat möjligheten till att uppnå ett balanserat beroendeförhållande, förutsättningarna att skapa egna kundrelationer och stärka företagets varumärke, detta för att vidare kunna ge rekommendationer för framtida samarbetens utformande.I den teoretiska referensramen har vi huvudsakligen inriktat oss på etableringsstrategin indirekt export med inriktning på piggybacking. Vidare belyser vi internationaliseringsteorier, kundrelationer samt varumärken. Därefter har vi integrerat samtliga teorier i en teoretisk syntes som legat till grund för vår analys.

Internationaliseringen har lett till att svenska företag har ökat sitt engagemang på olika utländska marknader. Detta har skett genom en ökad export, men även genom anskaffningar och nyetableringar utomlands. Internationalisering av företag har pågått länge men på senare tid har detta ämne växt enormt mycket. Vårt syfte med arbetet är att få en bättre förståelse om hur vårt valda fallföretag har gått tillväga med internationaliseringen. Vi vill även undersöka vilka problem och hinder företaget stötte på under internationaliseringen.

When investigating the different principle of purifying water, a research of different products and their manufactories was done. These different products were compared and the principle of filtration was the most applicable, as most of the products were designed for far larger applications. As the process water contains quite large amount of particles, it is necessary to perform the filtration in different steps. The process water purifier is therefore composed of a module of coarse filtration and one of micro filtration. In the module of coarse filtration the mainly amount of fibres and particles are eliminated. They are kept back in the container unit with the larger fragments and dumped with these when the container is emptied. In the module of micro filtration the filtration is performed in two steps. In the first step particles larger than 50?m are eliminated, in the second step the micro filter is setting the range of purifying, in this case 10?m.

En aktuell miljöfråga är hur den industriella överskottsvärmen kan tas tillvara på och nyttjas i fjärrvärmenät på ett teknisk och ekonomiskt effektivt sätt. På så sätt minskar både resursslöseri av överskottsvärme och användningen av dem primära energikällorna. ?Värme på väg? är en potentiell lösning på detta problem. Konceptet går ut på att lagra den industriella överskottsvärmen i fasändringsmaterial som sedan transporteras i en container placerad i en lastbil till ett fjärrvärmenät.

Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att undersöka förekomsten av kultur- och språkstrategier i små och medelstora, exporterande, sydsvenska företag. Med hjälp av en en kvantitativ enkätstudie har vi studerat förekomsten av kultur- och språkstrategier. De teoretiska perspektiven inkluderar det rationella strategisynsättet, presenterat av Barney och Johnson & Scholes.,Hofstedes kulturdimensioner samt lingvistik. 104 respondenter i form av företag ur målgruppen har besvarat vår enkät. Datan har analyserats i programmet SPSS och utöver förekomsten av kultur- och språkstrategier har förekomsten av strategier analyserats i samband med diverse variabler.

The financial crisis in 2008, effected companies around the globe and forced them to change their operational strategies, in order to survive. Companies with international links needed to consider external effects and due to that adapt their strategies on a global level. Demands for goods and service were decreasing and companies could only manage the cost during a recession to not face bankruptcy. Organisations need to reconsider their optimal strategy as this will determine their future outcome when managing a crisis as the one in 2008.
