Rwanda is one of the poorest countries in the world and about 70-80 % of the population lives in rural areas. The land is strongly affected by land erosion which makes it difficult for the agriculture and food production. Agroforestry is a system where tree plantation is combined with livestock- and crop production. The system provides soil fertilization and binds the soil together. Some of the trees used in agroforestry systems are also used as fodder.

Syfte Mitt syfte är att undersöka hur komponerandet samt arbetsflödet eventuellt kan förbättras/påverkas genom att arbeta med ett tydligt koncept som bas. Frågeställning Hur påverkar ett starkt koncepttänkande ens komponerande arbete? Vad finns det för fördelar/nackdelar med att jobba på detta sätt? Metod Jag har valt att undersöka detta genom att själv skriva musik i form av en fulllängds-cd i pop/rock-stil och sedan analysera det egna arbetet. Den största delen av detta arbete ligger därför av naturliga tidsskäl i själva skapandet av musiken och inte i den skriftliga delen. Slutsats Mycket av de koncept och idéer som dyker upp under ett projekt av detta slag kommer inte nödvändigtvis att gagna lyssnaren i första hand utan ger snarare den som skriver musiken en riktlinje att följa.

The mining industry, in terms of ore excavation and metal production, is and has been important to the Swedish economy. In connection with the ore excavation process, large amounts of partly sulphidic waste are produced. When the metal sulphides are exposed to air and water they are eventually oxidised, which leads to the formation of acidic water with high concentrations of metal cations and sulphate ions, so called Acid Mine Drainage (AMD). This water may reach the nearest surroundings and cause negative environmental effects. By covering the waste with soil or water, the oxidation process can be minimised. At the Rävlidmyran mine in the county of Västerbotten open pit mining took place between 1951 and 1991.

This thesis is an analysis of articles published in the Palestinian newspaper al-Quds concerning the escalated conflicts within the Fatah movement during the summer in 2004.The study is done on the basis of the assumption that The Palestinian Authority (PA) expects the domestic media institutions to support the official objectives and, in this case most important, the national unity. My investigation reveals that the articles are indeed highly adjusted and purposed to unify and to hinder further growing instability, both in the politicalsphere and in the streets. The message urging for unification under the PA is constantly, directly and indirectly, repeated throughout the articles by the choice of themes and references as well as by the choice of individuals and organisations delivering statements..

Purpose: This study`s purpose is to investigate the role of a business incubator in the strategic decision situations during the process of a new venture startup. It also aims to explore the methods and instruments the incubator and its advisers applies during the process.Methodology: This study is built on the basis of a hermeneutic approach with qualitative method and abductive design. The empirical material collected consist of interviews from two case studies and secondary data collection from different related sources.Theoretical perspective: The theory in the study consists of the elements of previous research on innovation processes and entrepreneurship. To analyze the data, models and theories related to decision making, incubation, process theories and organizational theories.Empirical foundation: The empirical material consists of interviews and data from two completed case studies. Additionally consist a relatively large part of the empirical data out of a comprehensive information retrieval from various secondary sources such as internet, newsletters and annual reports.Conclusion: The assay was able to detect not just one, but a variety of roles that the incubator occupies at different stages of the innovation process.

The purpose with our essay was to increase our knowledge about what social workers, with experience from working with drug addicts, perceive as the explanations to a person stopping the abuse and succeed in staying drug free. Our framing of the question was:- How do social workers define the term drug free?- How big a roll do the social worker believes she/he has in the process in which a person stops abusing drugs?- How do the social worker work with a person towards getting that person drug free?- What do the social worker believe to be the reason why a person stops abusing drugs?- What do the social worker perceive as helpful for a person to stay drug free?We did qualitative interviews with six social workers. Our main conclusion was that it is difficult to define the term drug free. The reason for stropping the drug abuse can vary, it can be the family situation, "hitting rock bottom", finding love or tiring.

De flesta av oss har säkert erfarenhet av hur digitala verktyg kan vara en hjälp på många områden i vardagen. Det går att fastslå att fler och fler funktioner och tjänster i vårt samhälle digitaliseras på olika sätt och i många yrkesgrupper verkar digitala hjälpmedel vara ett självklart inslag. Syftet med detta arbete är att öka kunskapen om vilken syn musik- och instrumentallärare har på användningen av digitala verktyg i undervisningen. För att uppnå detta syfte har jag ställt ett antal frågor till några musiklärare i olika läromiljöer.Resultat visar bland annat att användandet av digitala hjälpmedel styrs till viss del av musikalisk genre, det vill säga om en lärare arbetar med klassisk musik eller med rock- och popmusik. Tydligt i resultatet är också att musiklärarna vill öka både sin kunskap och sitt användande av digitala verktyg.En av mina viktigaste slutsatser är att de lärare som på ett personligt plan använder digitala verktyg utanför skolan också använder dem i sin undervisning..

In the Darfur region, located in the West of Sudan, there is a conflict between rebel groups and the government-supported Janjaweed militia. The area of Lycksabäcken northwest of Lycksele is a national interest of natural conservationbecause of its geological values with many unique landforms. Many of these landforms indicatethat the deglaciation process in the area was very complex. However, the deglaciation process inthe area has not previously been fully understood. The aim is to add to the knowledge of theevents that took place during the last deglaciation. To do this, the glaciofluvial landforms in thearea were mapped by studying aerial photographs with a Wild Aviopreter and a five-day fieldinventory of key areas for the interpretation.

Efter många års pianospel med inriktning på klassisk musik med det akustiska pianot i fokus insåg jag när jag började spela pop och rock att det då antogs att jag skulle behärska många olika klaviaturinstrument. Inte alltid helt lätt, då det inte finns någonting som säger att du till exempel är en bra orgelspelare bara för att du är en duktig pianist. I mitt examensarbete ville jag fördjupa mig i några klaviaturinstrument för att fundera på hur man spelar på dessa i olika musikaliska sammanhang och vilka olika spelsätt de genom sin teknik för med sig. Jag skrev tre låtar, en för varje valt instrument (piano, orgel, Clavinet) och spelade in dessa, utan klaviatur. Sedan gjorde jag en version av varje låt med varje instrument för att se hur jag själv spelade på olika sätt beroende på instrument.

Problembakgrund: Sociala medier har blivit så viktigt att marknadsförare inte kan bortse ifråndem (Patino, Pitta och Quinones, 2012). Det är viktigt att företag har en klar strategi för hurmarknadsföringen på sociala medier ska se ut (Setreus, 2011). För att få djupare förståelse kringdet här bör användandet av sociala medier undersökas.Syfte: Uppsatsen syfte är att undersöka och beskriva konsumenters beteende på sociala medier,och upplevelser kring företags marknadsföring på sociala medier.Metod: Undersökningen har en kvalitativ ansats. Urvalet i studien är ett spontant uppsökandeurval av tolv individer, som har deltagit i totalt tre stycken gruppintervjuer med fyra personer ivardera.Slutsatser: Respondenterna i undersökningen använde i huvudsak sociala medier för att hållakontakten med vänner. De läste varandras profilsidor, och var noga med hur deras egnaprofilsidor såg ut.

The aim of this paper is exploring questions regarding the problem of absenteeism among high-school students in Sweden. Fifteen students attending an urban high-school have been interviewed about their views and experiences of absenteeism. The author analyzes the students? answers by taking into account two different sociological approaches which give two different explanations about the way young people experience and estimate education. The French sociologist Bourdieu theorized that differences in cultural capital influence the permanent internalization of patterns of thought and behavior.

The Swedish armed forces are facing a change, a change in both organization and profession. From a conscript military service system, the Swedish Armed Forces has changed to having full-time contracted soldiers. Conscript military service has a history of over a hundred years; it was introduced in 1901 and has survived two world wars and the Cold War.The Swedish armed forces have changed to have contracted soldiers. My reflection is whether the armed forces really have had time for this changes that the new professionalization has meant. Today the Swedish armed forces consists of contracted soldiers, soldiers who are employed full time and costs the armed forces a lot of money.

Our digital society encompasses nowadays different channels, which includes social media where many users consider it as a platform where they can fetch news or exchange news and information. This leads to a large spread of news exchange in a very fast speed, which involves the global users within social media to be a part of this social interaction. This study is focused on how Twitter affects the usage of the user?s news consumption. By reaching out to our specific target audience, which includes Twitter users in Sweden, we made a web based survey with a content of relevant questions.
