Ergonomi : vikten av rätt sittande

Ergonomi innebär läran om människan i arbete, det vill säga samspelet mellan människa och arbetsredskap. Med detta som bakgrund kan man konstatera att det ställs höga krav på att arbetsstolen skall komplettera brukaren för att uppnå ett optimalt ergonomiskt sittande.Syftet med denna rapport är att ge en inblick i sittergonomi och utformningen av arbetsstolar. För att uppnå ett ergonomiskt sittande menar ergonomer att man skall sitta med en öppen höftvinkel, vilket leder till ett dynamiskt sittande. Det dynamiska sittandet gör att brukaren har ett rörligt och aktivt sittande. Detta kan till viss del uppnås genom ett sittande enligt principen för balansstolen.

Today we spend a lot of time at our place of work. Changes in the Swedish labour market have caused illness for many people. This has contributed to that many people have been reported sick. The purpose with this study was to investigate and deskribe factors the staff, at a social insurance office, identify as important for health at a place of work. Ten employees at the social insurance office took part in the study.

Produktionsutveckling av bastuaggregatsavdelning

To invent an optimized product is a complicated process. This process is only half of the work. It is equally important to develop a production system that can produce the product in an  efficient and Ergonomic way.After several evaluations of conceptual and detailed drawings a final idea has come to light.The idea intends, to the maximum extent, utilize the facility in a more efficient way through moving assembly lines and stations closer to the flock section and the stock for complete products. To make the production better, stations are placed in more logical places given the assignment they are supposed to accomplish. This improves the material flow radically.

Processförbättring för tillverkandet av specialbalk

Examensarbetet genomfördes åt företaget Corus Byggsystem AB. Ett företag placerat i Halmstad som tillverkar profilplåt och lättbalk till tak och fasader. Företaget erbjuder även god rådgivning och skapar optimala lösningar för kunden.I företagets produktion finns det en maskin som pressar specialbalkar. Denna arbetsplats är varken produktionseffektiv eller ergonomiskt riktig då materialet och balkarna lyftes manuellt, i vissa fall även över huvudet. På tunga arbetsplatser är det oerhört viktigt att se över ergonomin, både för att förbättra säkerheten och för att öka produktionsvolymen.

Svävare : Utforming av hytt

The project in question is a joint effort between students at Karlstad University and Marcus Norström at the company Hovercraft solutions. The project is divided into two parts, one focusing on the purely technical aspects of engineering the product and one focusing on the design aspects of the product development. The project described in this report is the design of the product. The assignment from Hovercraft solutions is regarding design engineering of a cabin for the hovercraft 380TD from the manufacturer Griffon hovercraft. The product lacks a cabin and none is offered from Griffon at the time being. 380TD is a relatively small hovercraft with a length of 6.8 metres and a width of 3.8 metres.The surface available for the cabin is not much different from the body of a car.Because of this, research has been focused primarily on car bodies.The product development process used in the project is following a systematic approach.From a chosen concept, the project was finalized with a CAD-modell as well as a detailed prototype.The weight target of 80 kg was reached and the Ergonomic aspects were considered developing the sight field, roof- and entrance height.    .

Injuries and sick-leave is a common feature for reinforcement workers today. This is mainlydue to the fact that reinforcement work is done in an exposed environment with many stressfactors and highly repetitive work. These operations are often carried out in unsuitableworking positions, these positions creates a major burden on the bones and joints and causesmicro- damages on muscles. With repetitive work these injuries are not given time to healproperly and will gradually become worse.The body will not be able to handle the stress of working in a work environment such as thisand musculoskeletal disorders can be a result of this. The injury will make itself known aspain in the musculoskeletal system and causes reduced movability; the injured worker willtherefore not be able to perform the same work tasks as before.

Förändrar ergonomisk anpassning respektive progressiv avspänning symptombilden i nack- och skulderregionen hos datorarbetare

Andelen som arbetar vid bildskärm fördubblades i Sverige mellan 1989-1999, vilket har medfört en växande oro över en ökad risk för muskuloskeletala besvär. Syfte: förändrade ergonomisk anpassning respektive progressiv avspännig symptombilden i nack- och skulderregionen hos datorarbetare. Metod: 16 personer med mer än ett års datorvana och som arbetade i Boden deltog i projektet. Som utvärderingsinstrument användes ett frågeformulär som besvarades före och efter en interventionsperiod på fem veckor. Deskriptiv databehandling.

This means she can?t leave her house, and her last days become very limited.Why do we act like this?Can the view we have of products adapted for disabled be changed by working with colour, texture, form and materials?There are many products adapted for disabled, the products often have a good function and well developed Ergonomic aspects but the visual aspect leaves a lot to wish for. There is neither effort nor money put in to the exterior design of most of these products.A lot of the solutions that are invented for adapted products can be used in design of ?regular? products.Why should we then divide products in to adapted and non-adapted.

Sjuksköterskors upplevelser och copingstrategier vid palliativ hemsjukvård

Aim: The aim of the current study was to investigate nurses? experiences of caring for palliative patients in palliative home care, and to examine the coping strategies they use.Method: The study was empirical descriptive with qualitative approach. The data was collected by nine semi-structured interviews and analyzed by using manifest content analysis.Result: By analysing data three categories: Positive experiences of palliative home care, Stressful experiences of palliative home care and Problem-focused coping strategies, and 15 subcategories, were distinguished.Conclusion: Experiences of palliative home care were both of positive and challenging characters. Stressful situations were managed by problem-focused coping strategies. Nurses are in need of the work situation at home to become more Ergonomic and designed to protect the nurse?s physical wellbeing.

This report summarizes a Bachelor Degree Project in Integrated Product Development, carried out during the fall 2007 till spring 2008 by three students at the Product Design Engineering Program at the University of Skövde. The project was performed in cooperation with Lundbergs Möbler AB in Tibro. Lundbergs wants to start selling furniture to the public eldercare. The purpose of this project was to adjust one of their chairs. The project layout was to first make a preliminary investigation where the market, competitors? assortment and the purchasing process are studied.

Polaris Eyewear is one of the world's leading companies in innovative eyeweardesign. My assignment has been to, in collaboration with them, expand their range with a pair of children's glasses, while maintaining the innovative character they are so known for.The problem with childrens eyewear today is that most of the time the glasses tries to mimic the adult eyewear and the ?childish? type of designing is spared. From an Ergonomic point of view, a child's nose is smaller than an adults and therefore needs a different type of shape and nosebridge. In addition, children have softer ears, which means that they need a different type of shaftend as well.

The aim of this thesis is to study a number of standards and theories, from the two research areas human-computer interaction and psychology, about how a graphical user interface (GUI) should be composed in order to facilitate interaction between humans and computers. Special emphasis is put on how the GUI should take into consideration the strengths and limitations of human cognition and perception. A study of three web catalogues shows how these theories appear when concretised. The following questions are answered in this thesis:What guidelines and styleguides can be found that specify the design of a user-friendly GUI?How do a few library catalogues on the web match a selection of these design principles?The guidelines are extracted from literature concerning human-computer interaction, psychology, automated library systems and web design.

Utveckling av instyrningsfunktionen hos ett dockningsinterface

In this project the task has been to develop a product that will facilitate an operation for personnel working in a sterilization center. The operation is to steer the front of a loading trolley into the chamber of an autoclave, a so-called docking. The moment is complicated because the margins to deviate from ideal docking position and still succeed, is very small.The principal Getinge's desire was that the product could be retrofitted at the customers on their existing systems. One of the demands was that the product should fit two types of trolleys, one with a adjustable working height and one with a fixed working height. Getinge is supposed to purchase the system from a subcontractor who shall manufacture it and the requirement from Getinge is that the cost of purchase mustn't exceed SEK 500Initially principles, solving the problem was developed.

?Optimizing the workflow of hydraulic reservoir tanks? is a degree project made by Jonas Olsson, student within the faculty of technology and science, during spring semester 2012. The project comprise 22,5 ECTS.Volvo Construction Equipment, located in Arvika, was the client in this project. The mentor at Volvo CE was A?sa Barck, and the mentor at Karlstad University was Monica Jakobsson.
