True Passion : En studie om varumärket Kosta Bodas profil och image
The purpose of this essay is to increase the understanding of how the management´s core values reflect the brand´s profile and image. To be able to fulfill that purpose, we used three problem statements that questioned how consumers, retailers and the Employees of the company Kosta Boda perceived the brand. To accomplish this, we used a qualitative method. We started collecting theories about the topics: brand, image and profile that gave us a good foundation to build our qualitative interviews on and to increase the understanding for the topics. To collect imperical data, we interviewed consumers, retailers and Employees at Kosta Boda both by email, phone and face-to-face interviews.

The phenomenon of media convergence can be traced back to the birth of the internet, and today all of the major newspapers have a website of their own. As a result of multichannel publishing, consumers have a wide range of tv channels to choose from, but there is still uncertainty as to whether more channels automatically equates to more and better news. There is no doubt about the fact that multi channel publishing is a necessary survival skill for media conglomerates today, but effects such as news recycling and the concentration of ownership are in conflict with the consumers? availability demands.Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to, by means of a case study, describe how NT?s multi channel publishing is an expression of media convergence, as well as to study how the news are affected by multi channel publishing.Research procedure: This study is based on three different research methods, observations, text analyses and qualitative interviews.
Ungdomssatsningen : ett projekt för arbetslösa ungdomar
The purpose of this essay was to in a specific project for unemployed youths between 18 and 24 years, from an ecological point of view, examine how the youths experienced their unemployment and also to compare the purpose and structure of the project with the participants' experience.Important questions in my essay were how the unemployment affected the youths' identity and social circumstances, if the participants found the project meaningful, and experienced that they could influence how the project was formed, if the purpose of the project was in accordance with the youths' experience and how the ecological perspective could be used to understand the situation of the youths.To answer these questions one interview was made with one of the Employees and five interviews were made with participant youths.The results of the essay was that the youths' experience of the project were very much individual. All of the participants found something in the project meaningful and most of them thought that it was possible to influence the project in some way. Something that both the youths and the employee pointed out as important was the Employees and their supporting role..

Tyngdpunkten ligger på att öka kunskapen kring vilka faktorer som påverkar hur bemanningsanställda integreras i tjänsteköpande företag samt fördjupa förståelsen för vilka möjligheter dessa företag har att öka integrationen på ett kostnadseffektivt sätt. Studien närmar sig problemområdet genom att undersöka hur bemanningsanställda inom lagersektorn upplever de faktorer som påverkat integrationen samt deras åsikter om dessa faktorer. Studiens teoretiska referensram baseras på teorier kring organisering, HRM samt sociala och legala begränsningar. Det empiriska materialet baseras på kvalitativa intervjuer.

The aim of this study was to investigate how a workplace should be formed to promote health according to the Employees. The study was made in IKEA handla hemma in Älmhult, Sweden. This essay investigates employee buyouts and does so from a number of different perspectives. Employee buyout is a term that describes a way of ending an employment through an agreement where the employee gets a sum of money in exchange of leaving their employment. Technically it is neither a resignation, since the employee gives up the employment in exchange of money, nor a dismissal since the employer does not have legal grounds for dismissing the employee. Employee buyout is not an illegal way to end an employment, as long as it is the result of a mutual agreement between the employer and the employee. In this essay I investigate and analyze employee buyouts in relation to 7 § in the Swedish employment protection act, and also Swedish employment protection in relation to regulations from EU regarding employment protection.

Ä lskade Patient - En studie av Public Service Motivations roll för motivationen hos vårdanställda
A tough working climate and the lack of extrinsic motivation at workplaces within health care raise the question of what instead drives Employees within this industry. A possible answer to this is Public Service Motivation (PSM) - a type of motivation that is based on the desire to do good for society and its individuals. In order to investigate this further we have performed a qualitative study consisting of ten interviews with people working with institutional care, where the purpose has been to identify the sources of motivation and determine the impact of PSM. The results show that the compassion dimension of PSM appears to be one of the most salient motivational factors. While the rest of the PSM dimensions fail to explain the level of motivation to the same extent as compassion, other factors are recognized, such as relatedness and aspects of the nature of the work itself.

can be difficult to get everybody to use the Intranet as an information- and

Hotel and restaurant industry have always been seen as an industry with low status and poorworking conditions. Low wages, temporary contracts, illegal work, and sexual harassment are the rule rather than the exception when the employee?s working conditions discusses. By using the right dogmatic approach together with a social science perspective the purpose of the study has been answered. The purpose has been to contribute to a greater understanding of how it is that the hotel and restaurant industry?s poor working conditions can be maintained, the extent to which the working conditions of the Employees is ensured and why mostly young people, women and people with foreign backgrounds are employed in the industry.

Resignations are common in all business sectors and can also be found among forest machine operators in the forest business. As the industry today faces a lack of forest machine operators it is justified to determine why machine operators choose to quit their jobs. The aim of this study was to a) find out the number of machine operators that have resigned b) identify and analyse the cause for these resignations c) identify the reasons why the machine operators started to work in the forest and d) give suggestions on different measures that will limit resignations amongst forest machine operators.
A questionnaire was sent to machine operators who have quit working as Employees, contractors or as Employees for contractors with Holmen Skog during 2003-2007. 32 machine operators responded to the questionnaire. Interviews were made with 10 machine operators who had answered the questionnaire to gather more qualitative data.
The results of the study indicate that fewer forest machine operators change profession than Employees in other occupations in Sweden.
