Internrekrytering och kvalifikationer - Inom Polismyndigheten
Denna studie undersöker vilka kvalifikationer som värderas vid internrekrytering hos polismyndigheten. Studien undersöker varför en viss kandidat rekryteras samt hur själva rekryteringsprocessen går till. En utvärdering av organisationskulturen får också stor plats i studien då det tidigare är känt att just polismyndigheten präglas av en stark kultur. Vi undersöker om och hur kulturella aspekter påverkar organisationen och också rekryteringen. För att genomföra denna undersökning har empiriskt material samlats in genom kvalitativa intervjuer.
Employer branding inom offentlig sektor och sjuksköterskestudenters syn på ett attraktivt arbete
Syftet med studien var att få en ökad förståelse för hur personer med psykisk ohälsa upplever bemötandet i arbetslivet. Bemötandet i studien kommer att förklaras utifrån ett stigmatiseringsperspektiv. Detta eftersom bemötandet i arbetslivet i tidigare forskning visar på en stigmatisering av personer med psykisk ohälsa. Studien presenteras utifrån hur stigmatiseringen tar sig i uttryck i arbetslivet samt om detta påverkar individens självbild. Hanteringen av den upplevda stigmatiseringen hos personer med psykisk ohälsa kommer även behandlas under studiens gång.

This study draws from Zygmunt Bauman´s theory that a governmental policy of values can reduce the personal responsibility and moral choices for employees, to focus only on maintaining the government?s internal rules and regulations. The apparent risk with this type of moral attenuation is that the employee is deprived of the possibility to react morally on conduct of the government?s external misuse of power. In this study, this theory is connected to the Swedish Armed Forces? policy of values, as these values do not include a critical standpoint for officers and soldiers.

In these days of globalization, with a higher level of openness and interaction over geographical, cultural and economical borders, the importance of the company?s intangible asset, its brand, is gaining importance as a differentiating factor. Building a strong brand and the emphasis on strategic brand management is something that before was given less attention in firms but today we can see a general increase in awareness and relative emphasis in the strategic work of companies.Countries as brands: Is it possible to consider a nation or a country as a brand the same way you consider a product? Well, looking in to the subject it seems to be a rather complex matter and there are many questions to be asked and answer. Nations around the globe are indeed marketing and positioning themselves for several purposes.
Millennials- Den nya och krävande generationen
Psykologisk forskning visar på att unga medarbetare, den så kallade
Millennialgenerationen, efterfrågar en annan typ av ledarskap än deras äldre
föregångare. Syftet med studien var att undersöka unga medarbetares
föreställningar om transformativt ledarskap samt i vilken utsträckning dessa
föreställningar motiverar dem i arbetet. Hypotes: Transformativt ledarskap är
gynnsamt för unga vuxnas motivation på arbetsplatsen jämfört med andra
ledarstilar så som laissez-faire och transaktionellt ledarskap.
Undersökningsmetoden som använts var en webbaserad enkätdesign med 28 deltagare
i åldrarna 20-38. Resultatet stödjer studiens syfte och hypotes, det
transformativa ledarskapet var det som motiverade unga vuxna mest på
arbetsplatser.

The ability to tackle NP-hard problems has been greatly extended by the introduction of Metaheuristics (see Blum & Roli (2003)) for a summary of most Metaheuristics, general problem-independent optimisation algorithms extending the hill-climbing local search approach to escape local minima. One of these algorithms is Iterated Local Search (ILS) (Lourenco et al., 2002; Stützle, 1999a, p. 25ff), a recent easy to implement but powerful algorithm with results comparable or superior to other state-of-the-art methods for many combinatorial optimisation problems, among them the Traveling Salesman (TSP) and Quadratic Assignment Problem (QAP). ILS iteratively samples local minima by modifying the current local minimum and restartinga local search porcedure on this modified solution. This thesis will show how ILS can be implemented for MSA.

Framgångsfaktorer och fallgropar vid utveckling av medarbetarskap
Syftet med denna studie var att utröna de aspekter medarbetarna ser som väsentliga i utvecklingsprocessen mot ett utökat medarbetarskap. Studien baserades på teorier om förutsättningar och utveckling av medarbetarskap samt dess effekter. Dessutom beskrivs ledarskapets historiska utveckling samt olika teorier om ekonomistyrning. Studien fokuserade på medarbetarnas uppfattning, men verksamhetschefen gav också sin syn på ämnet. Det empiriska materialet i denna fallstudie samlades in genom fyra personliga intervjuer.
Röster från Öster - en studie kring värdeskapande attribut i den polska kosmetikabranschen
Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka betydelsen av konsumentens medvetenhet kring varumärken. Detta syfte belyses genom att studera kosmetikabranschen i Polen med fokus på varumärkens attraktionskraft. Frågeställningar: I vilken utsträckning har varumärket en avgörande betydelse vid polska universitetsstuderande kvinnors faktiska köp av kosmetikaprodukter? Vilka andra faktorer är betydelsefulla för dessa kvinnors faktiska köp av kosmetikaprodukter? Metod: Uppsatsen är uppbyggd utifrån ett deduktivt arbetsförfarande och en kvantitativ studie i enkätform. Metodverktyget bidrar till skapandet av en relevant och pålitlig analys av de unga polska kvinnorna och deras inställning till varumärken för kosmetika.

This Master´s thesis aims to aquire knowledge about volunteers attitude toward work. It emphasis is on the differences between volunteers and non volunteers. There are four research questions used in order to fulfill the aim in a scientific manner. The essay aims to get in depth knowledge regarding whether or not the respondents feel that they have gained advantages in work life due to the fact that they are involved in volunteer work. One of the pivotal questions is if there is a possibility to see a pattern that binds together the reasons for volunteer work and the attitude toward work.

Our surrounding world is constantly changing and to be able to keep up with the fast pace of change organizations need to be prepared to transform as well. If there is a need for an organization to undergo a change process, the people constituting the organization also need to be prepared to change their behavior. In order for the change process to turn out successful, it is of the utmost importance that all employees are given the chance to take part in the process. The challenge for leaders during a change process is, therefore, to ensure that their employees actively get involved.The purpose of this study is to apply Human Resource (HR) theories on to an organization in order to critically review how leaders in practice, can involve their employees, on the basis of a change process.The study is a qualitative case study, the empirical material has been collected at Falkenbergs Sparbank with the help of one unstructured interview with an employee at the marketing department and four semi structured interviews with the office managers.Relationship oriented leadership is beneficial to use during change since it advocates an open relationship between co-workers and exchange of information and knowledge. Relationship oriented leadership is considered to be a good leadership style if organizations wants to turn Human Resource theories in to practice.

A well chosen and developed packaging can reduce the costs for the companies through reduced costs for transports, reduced quantity of waste and discards and increased goodwill for example. The companies? costs for salaries can also be reduced due to the increased packaging handling efficiency and the reduced costs for sick leave, reduced work capacity and rehabilitation etc. that can arise when handling poorly developed products and packaging.
Relationen mellan den personliga tränaren och klienten : att marknadsföra ett personligt varumärke inom träningsbranschen med hjälp av digitala medier
Purpose ? The purpose of the study was to examine how to promote a personal trainer in the fitness industry, as a personal brand, with digital media.Method ? To fulfill the purpose, the author have used three different methods. Both literature and quantitative and qualitative data in forms of a digital survey and interviews with two personal trainers regarding marketing and branding.Result ? Based on the collected literature and empirical evidence, facts could identify the importance of having a strong brand as a personal trainer, in order to recruit new clients. The result revealed that digital media is an excellent communication channel to nurture the relationship when you already have existing clients, but not when you want to recruit new customers.Implications ? This study is only developed through empirical data from a particular demography and a certain range, which could give a different result with other respondents.
