The essay examines through semi-structured interviews the experiences of overcrowded housing, as they are portrayed through the eyes of children aged 8 ? 14. Overcrowded housing has an effect on children?s school performance, general health and is often linked to less capacity for normal social consumption. Yet there seems to be little done in terms of interrogating children about how they perceive their situation here and now.

Pupils with social and emotional difficulties relate their experiences of the segregated school system). Syfte: Denna studie har som övergripande syfte att försöka förstå elevens upplevelse av skoltiden före, under och efter segregeringen samt att undersöka hur lärarens förhållningssätt påverkar elevens inre (emotionella) och yttre (sociala) utveckling. Metod: För att få svar på våra frågor har vi använt oss av intervju som metod. Målgruppen utgjordes av 15 elever med socioemotionella svårigheter, varav nio elever kom från en s.k. halvsegregerad skolform, vilket innebar att delar av skoldagen (och även en del efter skoltid) var förlagd till en särskild undervisningsgrupp. Resterande sex elever hade sin senare del av grundskoletiden förlagd till ett skoldaghem, i en s.k.

This examination has been made in cooperation with Jernhusen which is an estate company owned by the government, with estates along the railways in Sweden. This assignment is to help Jernhusens business area Projektfastigheter with their experience feedback, which is to-day almost absent. Business area Projektfastigheter has the task of supporting Jernhusens three other business areas with skills and resources for the estate projects that Jernhusen runs. Jernhusen must become stronger with the collecting of experiences and as a business because of the liberalization of the railways, which leads to a more competitive market. A tool for this is successful experience feedback.The concept of experience feedback is to gain experience across a variety of cases, where individuals and/or groups can chose situations with relevant similarities and differences with current case.

Under projektets gång utvecklade vi, med hjälp av UDK (Unreal Development Kit), ett skräckspel i 3D till PC vid namn The Horror at MS Aurora. För att erhålla den höga tekniska kvaliteten som vi var ute efter användes metoder som räknas som standard för stora speltitlar på marknaden: Animationer spelades in med Motion Capture och musiken skrevs med en full symfoniorkester i åtanke. Innan produktionsfasen tog vid gick alla gruppmedlemmarna igenom en research-fas, där var och en satte sig in i de områden som skulle komma att vara aktuella under produktionen (d.v.s. hur UDK fungerar, musikteori och orkestrationsteknik, hur man arbetar med Motion Capture-data o.s.v.).

Eller kan man bara se det?Vi ville veta och bestämde oss för att ta reda på det, och det är resultatet du nu har i din hand.Vi har genom intervjuer med tre stora butikskedjor och dess butikschefer försökt få en klarare bild om hur de arbetar med det relativt nya sättet att marknadsföra sig på, genom sinnesmarknadsföring. Vi har genomfört flera observationer i och runtomkring de valda butikerna och bildat oss en bra uppfattning om hur respektive butik använder sig av sinnesmarknadsföring-medvetet eller omedvetet.I takt med att konsumenternas krav på upplevelser ökar och fler butiker etablerar sig på marknaden blir det alltmer viktigt att skapa ett varumärke som kunden hela tiden har i sitt medvetande, det finns bara ett sätt och det är att vara kundens första val. För att nå dagens kräsna konsumenter gäller det att butikerna marknadsför sina varumärken, och det har man sett inte helt räcker till, vilket har medfört att nya grenar inom marknadsföringen tillkommit, sinnesmarknadsföring. Begreppet är relativt nytt i Sverige och syftar till att skapa ett emotionellt band mellan konsument och varumärke.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att få en förståelse för hur polisens barnutredare i Sverige upplever och hanterar känslor i yrket. Detta undersök genom en kvalitativ studie med en fenomenologisk ansats. Intervjuer användes som datainsamlingsmetod och totalt åtta barnutredare från fem olika polisdistrikt i Stockholms län som skiljer sig med avseende på ålder och arbetslivserfarenhet intervjuades. Fenomenologi handlar om att ge en beskrivning av vad och hur deltagarna kontextuellt upplever fenomenet som studeras. Fenomenet som studeras i studien är barnutredarnas upplevelser och hantering av känslor i yrket.

Assessing the emotional state in animals is important in order to establish the quality of their welfare, therefore it is important to investigate under what circumstances animals experience these emotions and to find indicators of their existence. The aim of this thesis was to detect possible behavioural indicators for positive emotions in dogs. These behavioural indicators could be helpful to increase both dogs? and humans? overall well-being in today?s society since they could help e.g. dog owners and caretakers to interpret behaviours displayed by dogs and their intentions so they can respond accordingly.The subjects used were 9 research beagles and each dog participated in three different treatments, assumed to be experienced as positive situations, where communicative interaction was initiated with the dog by engaging in 1) physical contact (P), 2) verbal contact (V) or 3) both physical and verbal contact simultaneously (PV).

The theories could not concretely describe how organizations should handle crisis in Social Media. Therefore, this study focuses on if and how organizations can use the traditional theories when working with crisis management in social media. Through a qualitative method the study has examined and tested the model on three crises, and subsequently improved the model based on the empirical material and  the analysis that was made. Conclusion: The conclusion found that organizations need to adjust their crisis management after following guidelines for it to work on social media:-    Strategies should be limited to only one, and be either a rebuilding strategy or a bolstering strategy.-    The focus should be on emotional communication, and regarding the rational aspects the focus should be on actual actions and plans for the future.-    Clear guidelines for what type of questions and critics that should be answered should be set.

The competition between the Swedish municipalities has increased as the world has become more globalized, which means that they need to become more attractive for sustaining sound finances and not to find themselves to have a downward trend. One possibility to show the attractiveness of a place is by using place marketing and therewith attaining a stronger brand position. There are 20 suburban municipalities in the county of Stockholm, of which six are multicultural or are having a minimum of 20 percent immigrants among the residents. These immigrant areas are segregated based on class, income and culture. Problems associated with these areas have historical aspects that dates further back than modern immigration does.

In todays competitive business climate the concept of ?quality management? is a significant part of daily work for many companies, as they want to achieve high performance quality and delivery success. Within the services sector third-party logistics companies play an increasingly central role when it comes to the goods that are being transported. These companies are presented with continuous challenges to ensure that goods are loaded on trucks efficiently and delivered on time, at the right place and in the right condition. The present case study was conducted in collaboration with Schenker AB and Schenker Åkeri in Jönköping, to help these two company branches serving under the same major corporation to solve a common problem they both encounter, namely the fact that it regularly occurs handling abnormalities in the terminal process that affects overall quality for customers.The study aims to find out how the daily quality control concerning the handling of goods in the terminal process can be improved hopefully resulting in a higher quality in cargo shipments.
