There are several ways of conducting software testing where some may include users and others may include personnel whose work task is to execute test on systems. Although most developers and project managers understand the point of testing the system, it is not always being done and the most common reason is that there is no time for it. However, this is a false assumption as it may instead cause some bugs in the system that would not have been there in the first place if tests had been there to prevent bugs in the code.My purpose for this thesis was to find suggestions for changes in the development process in an ongoing project used by Acino and Svenska Försäkringsfabriken in order to increase the quality of the system used. In this thesis, I have approached the purpose by pursuing a case study of the two companies through observation and interviews. By doing this I acquired the relevant information to make suggestions for change.

This paper explores the emic use of ?Internet trolls" and trolling behaviour in one specific Internet community. The findings are compared with, and put in relations to the conventional definition of Internet-trolls as individuals who deliberately, typically anonymously, antagonize other users of online common spaces.A forum dealing with matters of relationship issues in the Swedish online community Message Board of Familjeliv.se, was the subject of field-work that provided the basic empirical material for the research; three comparable threads on the subject of infidelity. These could all be said to contain suspected trolling, and such suspicions were also ascribed participants throughout the discussions. The analysis was undertaken mainly in terms of quality of narrative, performance and interaction.A comparative method and a genre analysis out of a holistic and functionalistic perspective is used to shed some light on how forum participants organize themselves and steer narratives towards desired outcomes.

Introduction: In 1998, the pension system was changed and the so called PPM system was introduced. The PPM system is partly fund-based, partly distribution-based. There are approximately 700 different investment funds to choose between, at a maximum five for each individual. For persons who are not familiar with the financial market, the choice might be difficult. The lions? part of the investors do not seem to have an active strategy.

With this essay we have had the intention of observing Linköping University as an example of a public authority undergoing change. In the information society of today, the increasing competition and internationalization affects, not only companies and organizations, but also the public sector. After having been concerned with neutral information spread only, according to"the third mandate", employees at the Department of Information at Linköping University has also started dealing with marketing, so as to increase the recruitment of students. As a result of this, the work team has been divided into an editorial staff and a department with emphasis on market issues. To strengthen the trademark of Linköping University one has chosen to mediate certain values representative for the university - an interdisciplinary and innovative approach and an entrepreneurial spirit.

As computerized communication and the Internet have evolved, the possibility to express and affirm one?s identity in new ways has also been created. Facebook, which has taken a leading role among the social fora on the Internet and succeeded worldwide, is my choice of study due to the number of people that actively choose to present themselves on it. The purpose of this thesis is to study the identity construction on Facebook through the activities a member partakes in, as well as how the presentation of oneself is written and if it is a result of a self-reflective process of the individual.The rationale for the qualitative study has been personal interviews in order to get an insight into how the individuals use and present themselves on Facebook and - in the interaction with others ? how they construct their own identity. My hypothesis has been that we, in the interaction with others, have a great possibility to create and understand our own identities. The study results show that identity formation is a constant process and that it is indeed a self-reflective project.

Detta arbete har som fokusering att studera vad som driver utvecklingen av system för elektroniska affärer mellan företag. Syftet är dels att belysa vilka krav som företag som har infört system för elektroniska affärer ställer på systemet och dels att ta reda på de faktorer som driver utvecklingen framåt. Undersökningen har genomförts genom intervjuer med företag som utvecklar system för elektroniska affärer mellan företag. Sammanlagt har sex intervjuer gjorts genom besöks- och telefonintervjuer. Området har delats in i två olika typer av system för elektroniska affärer beroende på mot vilken del i förädlingskedjan de riktar sig.

The students have been assigned a task from Consid, were they are supposed to develop a web based platform for handling the company?s consult CV:s. The key features of the system are to simplify the administration part at mission procurements towards customers and to match qualified consultants to certain missions.Consid is an international it-consult company and have about 1000 consults working for them. When Consid makes mission procurements towards a customer they have to manually match the best consult against a certain mission, this is both time consuming and complicated.The students started the project with big visions and thoughts about how the work would be performed and how the system would be developed. After the initial meetings and the closer it came to the beginning of programming it became clear that the expectations were too big.

Travelling by train has increased during the last decades in Sweden. This has put pressure on the existing infrastructure and has created problems with delays and cancelled departures. The railway is a complex system with mutual dependencies and high vulnerability for disruptions. The situation for the railway system in the Stockholm region is today strained. The capacity is fully used.

Syftet är att redogöra vilka avancerade IT-stöd för ett balanserat styrkort det finns på den svenska marknaden, samt att analysera de likheter och skillnader som går att finna mellan dessa olika system. Uppsatsen är uppdelad i tre delstudier; litteraturstudie, kartläggning av leverantörer på den svenska marknaden och en fallstudie av sex företag. Främst har vi utgått från en kvalitativ metodansats och vår undersökningsansats har primärt varit en deduktiv metod. Vi fann nio större avancerade IT-stöd på den svenska marknaden varav fem var av typen skräddarsydda system och resterande fyra var standardsystem. De främsta likheterna mellan de två systemgrupperna är att de klarar av att stödja det balanserade styrkortets syfte i den utsträckningen som företagen förväntar sig.

Syftet med rapporten har varit att studera gymnasielevers uppfattningar om skolbibliotek, elevernas informationshantering och deras sökstrategier. Dagens skola präglas av ett allt omfattande informationsutbud, där eleverna i regel förväntas att själva söka efter information och sammanställa kunskap. Det förändrade syn- och arbetssättet ställer således stora krav på elevernas arbetsmetoder men även i hur skolans personal väljer att utforma undervisningen.Analysen synliggör att gymnasieeleverna till stor del använder Internet i sina arbetsmetoder och tillskriver informationskällan positiva vinster i dess snabbhet och lättillgänglighet. På samma gång upplever flera elever att Internet medför en rad källkritiska svårigheter och problem i deras arbetsmetoder. Analysen visar även att flera elever uttrycker svårigheter i att orientera sig i skolbiblioteket och att på ett fullständigt och positivt sätt använda sig av skolbibliotekets källmaterial.

There is a new beverage container on the market, a bottle made out of pure aluminum as a replacement for the traditional container made out of glass. This new container has the potential to reduce both cost and pollution during transportation, the lighter and stronger construction has every advantage compared to the old one in glass. The new container has every possibility to make it on the market. Some of the biggest brands within the soft drink market already use these bottles in countries without any recycling demands like: Coca-Cola, Heineken and Pepsi. The only thing stopping these brands from the Swedish market is the lack of a functional return system, there is only one company that uses the bottle in Sweden today and they take care of their own used bottles.

Sapa är en av de största tillverkarna i världen av aluminiumprofiler. Sapa Building System AB är ett dotterbolag till Sapa group och är en av de största leverantörerna i Europa på byggsystem. Några av deras produkter är bakdörrarna RD 3010 och RD 3020 för lastbilar, släp och trailers som från början var ämnade som sidodörrar. Som bakdörrar är de överdimensionerade då sidodörrar hade högre hållfasthetskrav. I dagens läge väger och kostar de mer än nödvändigt där av önskar Sapa Building System AB en nyutveckling av bakdörrarna.Målet är att omkonstruera bakdörrarna RD 3010 och RD 3020 så att de blir lättare, smidigare och billigare genom att konstruera en ny kantskoning till Sapa Building System AB:s befintliga aluminiumlämprofiler.Arbetet har resulterat i att ritningsunderlag för nya profiler har tagits fram där man valt att limma ihop dörrarnas delar istället för att nita.

Vi har undersökt hur de ansvariga i en organisation arbetar med informationssäkerheten i ett verksamhetskritiskt system. Undersökningen har gjorts hos två organisationer i tidningsbranschen. Många organisationer tar inte hot och risker på allvar och inser inte vilka konsekvenser ett avbrott kan ge. Administrativa system som från början var tänkt som ett hjälpmedel för att få en effektivare organisation har blivit verksamhetskritiska. För organisationer som har verksamhetskritiska system är det viktigt att arbetet med informationssäkerheten görs enligt fastställda rutiner och regler.

Allt fler organisationer väljer att förbättra och förnya sin verksamhet genom att använda informationssystem. Verksamheter idag har blivit allt mer beroende av IT- stöd i form av system samt webbapplikationer, eftersom det automatiserar och effektiviserar arbetsprocessen. Verksamheter med ett fullt fungerande IT-stöd leder, lyfter och styr företaget framåt i utvecklingen. Nyttan av ett IT system kan mätas då systemet är anskaffat och befinns i en förvaltningssituation. I förvaltningssituationer används IT system vilket kräver att dessa underhålls och omskapas efter verksamhetens utveckling.Studien syftar till att kartlägga alla IT-system och webbapplikationer för Tele2 Butikerna AB samt för varje system identifiera användare, accessroller, funktioner, förvaltningsresurser och förbättringsområden.

This master thesis investigates the possibilities of using GPS-information from trains to create a model of a railway system, register the routes of the the trains and predict how the trains will travel in the railway system.The thesis work was done at Icomera AB which is a company that specializes in internet connected vehicle solutions.We describe how the GPS-information is sent from the trains in the form of samples and investigate limitations and possibilities with the available information. About three million samples from 83 SJ-trains were analysed and the samples were filtered with the intent of removing erroneous information. We here found that about 30 % of the samples from the trains were unreliable.A solution for how the samples from the trains can be used to create a model of the railway system traveled by the trains is presented. We use a large set of historical samples and use cluster nodes and Hermite curves to generate a graph that represent the railway system with stations, nodes and the railway itself. A fully automatic solution is not presented since it did not fit into the time frame of the thesis; instead we created a simple tool which can be used to manually finish the model of the railway system.Furthermore, we describe how the railway system and the samples from the train can be used to register the routes the trains travel.
