Den här studien avser att undersöka i vilken utsträckning befintliga riktlinjer för datorstött samarbete är tillämpbara för asynkrona, geografiskt distribuerade system i syfte om att minska det socio-tekniska glappet. Det är ett glapp mellan vad användare efterfrågar socialt och vad som är tekniskt möjligt att stödja, där medvetenhet om andra användare är en central utmaning som påvisar ett glapp. Som praktiskt fall studeras Intercopy.net som är ett system för dokumenthantering via Internet. Resultaten visar att det verkar finnas få riktlinjer specifikt avsedda för asynkrona, distribuerade system och de som avser datorstött samarbete generellt kan vara svåra att tillämpa. Riktlinjer för enskilda användare och för datorstött samarbete kan därför med fördel kombineras vid utveckling och utvärdering av datorstött samarbete för att öka användbarheten på individ- och gruppnivå.

ABSTRACTPurpose/aim: The aim of this essay is to make a comprehensive study of the phenomenon of net dating, both among those who have dated on the internet and among those who haven?t tried it at all. Key questions to be answered are what attitudes are associated with net dating? How do the attitudes differ between those who have tried compared to those who haven?t? What kind of positive and negative aspects is there with net dating? Are there any prejudices against net dating and ? if so, what kind of prejudices? How does the future look for net dating?Material/method: Qualitative method with eight interviews divided into two groups depending weather the person has tried net dating or not.Main results: The study shows that net dating is a phenomenon that will continue to grow and attract more users. The most significant result from the interviews are the different prejudices that are articulated.

The aim of the thesis is to analyse and understand resolution, repeatability and reproducibility of the measurement system for package distance. The measurement system for package distance is already in use, no Gage R&R has been performed on the system and before spreading use of the system the quality of the system has to be understood and approved.

The purpose of this examination is to get a view of the attitude towards internet-use within after school centers. By comparing the views of pupils with the teacher?s point of view, one can notice differences that may be due to a lack of knowledge or communication. The questions are: What view does the principal, the staff, and the pupils have on internet-use in after school centers? Does their view differ? If so, how? To be able to respond to these questions, the pupils and the staff have been handed surveys and the principal has been interviewed.

Webbaserade system har tidigare kunnat beskrivas som relativt okomplicerade webbsidor och utvecklingsarbetet har många gånger varit ostrukturerat. Systemen har med tiden blivit mer komplexa och webbmiljön har övergått till att bli en plattform som kan stödja alla aspekter av organisatoriskt arbete. Vi vill i denna uppsats ge en inblick i utvecklingen av webbaserade system. Litteraturen beskriver olika faktorer som påverkar utvecklingsprocessen. Vi kommer att belysa ett antal av dessa faktorer samt åskådliggöra hur utvecklaren arbetar för att ta hänsyn till dem.

The focus of this work is to study whether public libraries should offer their patrons unlimited access to the Internet, or restrict which sites they can visit. The most common tool used to limit Internet access is filtering software. The author has administered four interviews with public librarians working in libraries in Southern Sweden. All four librarians had different opinions about restricting Internet access. The most important question asked was if they had chosen to use filtering, and the reasons for their decision.

Databaser och databassystem är grunden för en stor del av de verksamheter som företag och organisationer sysslar med idag. Att utnyttja moderna databasteknologier kan medföra ett säkrare och smidigare system vilket i sin tur kan leda till konkurrens-fördelar för de som använder dem.I detta arbete undersöks i vilken omfattning ett antal olika moderna databasteknologier används inom företag och organisationer i Sverige och huruvida kostnaden är det största hindret för vidareutvecklingar av befintliga system.Inledningsvis beskrivs ett antal moderna databasteknologier för att ge en uppfattning om vilka möjligheter som finns på databasområdet. Därefter redovisas den under-sökning som gjorts med hjälp av telefonintervju som metod för att samla in material.Resultatet visar att vissa teknologier, som exempelvis databaser kopplade mot Internet, utnyttjas och i stor utsträckning kommer att användas i ännu högre grad i framtiden. Internet har skapat ett nytt sätt att göra affärer genom att frambringa en helt ny marknad och omgivning för företagen. Många företag i olika branscher har idag kompletterat sin ordinarie försäljning med försäljning via Internet. En av dessa branscher är dagligvarubranschen som vi har valt att undersöka. Vårt syfte med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur butiker som säljer livsmedel via Internet har löst det nya försäljningssättet gällande de nya arbetsuppgifter som tillkommer. Vidare har vi undersökt butikernas syfte med att börja sälja livsmedel via Internet, samt vad de ser för fördelar.

The aim of this master's thesis is to describe the management of free Internet resources in three Swedish research libraries. With the starting point in the increased quantity and importance of these resources, together with reflections on the change of the concept of collection, the thesis shows how and to what extent these freely accessible Internet resources are being integrated in the day-to-day work with collection development. It also elucidates the problems with the free Internet resources from the research libraries points of view. The study is based upon analyses of collection management literature and qualitative interviews with librarians at the chosen libraries. The thesis shows that the research libraries still have not come very far in their work of integrating the free Internet resources in their collections.

Syftet med vår studie är att förstå i vilken omfattning pedagoger använder Internet för att publicera dokumentation av barn i verksamheten, och hur delaktiga barnen är i dokumentationsprocessen. Vi vill åskådliggöra pedagogers uppfattningar om dokumentation som synliggörs på Internet och vi hoppas att tillföra en synvinkel av hur delaktiga barn är i dokumentationsprocesser, dels det som synliggörs i förskolan men även det som publiceras på Internet.För att fånga omfattningen av pedagogers användande av Internet i verksamheten samt deras uppfattningar ingick 63 förskollärare och barnskötare i en enkätstudie.Resultatet visar att det sker ett publicerande av dokumentation på Internet som är både öppet och slutet för allmänheten. En viktig slutsats är att barn inte alltid är helt delaktiga i dokumentationsprocessen och urval av material som ska publiceras samt att pedagoger inte alltid tänker på de socioekonomiska förutsättningarna som råder i Sverige. Detta kan leda till att barn eller vårdnadshavare inte får ta del av dokumentation då det ibland förutsätts att alla har tillgång till Internet i hemmet..

The study aims to investigate student?s attitudes and experiences of information retrieval on the Internet, as tools for learning. I have been interested of their own views about their own knowledge and experience in the subject, information seeking on the Internet. The purpose of this media scientific study is to contribute to a better understanding about how blind people?s empowerment and participation may affect their role in the digital society.Earlier international studies in this area have shown that blind people not only need more knowledge then the seeing population about the computer, but also about the technology behind their tools for using Internet. The results from these studies have also shown that Internet increases the blind people?s independents and that those who use Internet feel more involved in the society.A qualitative method was chosen to study the three most common categories from the earlier studies: knowledge of technology, empowerment and participation. Are there differences in the results compared to our study in Sweden 2014?Interviews with eight blind, experienced computer users have shown that knowledge of technology is essential for their use of Internet and that the Internet increases their empowerment and their participation.

The main purpose of this study has been to explore and determine how the journalistic work was used by internet users to start and keep a discussion on the internet going.We started in the aftermath of a local arson in a town of Sweden, where a discussion on the internet forum Flashback and the local newspapers commentary fields was raised.We have used these discussions to study what part the journalistic work play in these events. To do that we used a critical discourse analysis and a rhetoric analysis to investigate how these discussions use news articles to make their point. We divided the comments into four different categories, which are comments about understandings of the event, comments that talked about the matters of fact, criticism pointed at the newspaper and comments that identify the offenders.The result of the analysis shows that both forums use journalistic work as facts in their discussions. Both also use earlier articles that were written before the arson, to make their point in the discussion..
