Bakom kulisserna på Migrationsverket : En kvalitativ studie om handläggarnas uppfattning av den psykosociala arbetsmiljön.

Due to stress, the workplace is a setting where actions of health promotion are of great importance in the perspective of public health. Stress is caused by heavy workload, low control of organizing their tasks and lack of support from colleagues and supervisors. This can lead to cardiovascular disease, depression and insomnia. Due to the health problems that this causes, it is important to examine how senior immigration offices perceive their psychosocial work environment.The aim of this thesis is to examine how the senior immigration offices at the Migration Board perceive their psychosocial work environment. The study is based on a qualitative approach with deductive content analysis and the data has therefore been collected through interviewing six people based on a semi-structured interview guide.The result has shown that the senior immigration offices are pleased with their work environment and that their workload is constantly changing.

The main advantages they can see is that they are able to influence technical solutions and methods that will be used later on in the production. Therefore it is important to consider when construction workers should be involved in the planning process so that they get the chance to influence in this decisions.When it comes to the decision making the construction workers should be involved in the decisions that are related to their tasks in the production such as technical solutions, choice of methods and materials. Their main duties and working hours should be in the production.Involvement in planning does not automatically mean that the construction workers are involved in the decision making, it is up to them how much they participate.

Rätten till delaktighet! Faktorer som påverkar patientens upplevelse av delaktighet i vården

En grundförutsättning för folkhälsan är delaktighet och inflytande i samhället. Delaktighet är ett mångtydigt begrepp, och patientdelaktighet, som kan ses som ett mycket komplext begrepp, innebär således rätten till delaktighet i allt som rör den egna vården. I svensk sjukvård innebär det att all sjukvårdspersonal enligt hälso- och sjukvårdslagen har skyldighet att bidra till patientens delaktighet.Flertalet åtgärder via lagar och förordningar har under senaste årtiondet vidtagits för att stärka patientens ställning i vården. Vilka faktorer påverkar då patientens upplevelse av delaktighet? Syftet har varit att genom en litteraturstudie av kvalitativa vetenskapliga artiklar ur ett patientperspektiv, belysa faktorer som påverkar patientens upplevelse av delaktighet i vården, oavsett kontext.

In this thesis we have examined opinions of the social web in Scandinavian Library journals. Our interest lies in aspects about the social web, and above all about Library 2.0. The central question is how this new technology, a growing digitalization, and a social web that focuses on interactivity and participation affects opinions about libraries. We have investigated opinions about Library 2.0, with respect to three different dimensions: The role of the library in society, power/hierarchy and knowledge. The method used in this thesis is idea analysis using these dimensions as analytical instrument.

Delaktighet i vården : när det talas olika verbala språk

SAMMANFATTNINGBakgrund: Delaktighet, vårdrelation och kommunikation är tre centrala begrepp inomhälso- och sjukvården. Detta med tanke på att det är tre faktorer som kan få patienten attpåverka dennes hälsoprocess samt att kunna trygghet. Syfte: Att belysa sjuksköterskansförutsättningar och hinder för att skapa delaktighet i vårdrelationen med patienter närsamma verbala språk inte talas. Metod: Studien utgår från sjuksköterskans perspektiv ochbaseras på en kvalitativ analys utifrån Evans (2002) litteraturstudie. Resultat: Det somansågs vara förutsättningar för delaktighet kunde vara tolkens närvaro för skapandet avdelaktighet i vårdrelationen.

The worsening of psychical health issues among young people has widely been discussed over the last few years. Research shows for example that 9% of girls at the age of 16-24 reported anxiety problems in 1989 while 16 years later, in 2005, the same number was 30%. The purpose of this essay was to study and analyze psychiatrists', psychologists' and counselors' view on the resilience and risk factors for youth depression (age 16-24). Beside this, our aim was to study their view on the influence of family environment on treatment and recovery. Data were collected with qualitative interviews with eight informants within the psychiatric care.

Utdelningar och utdelningspolicy i Sverige : En undersökning om utdelningar och utdelningspolicy bland de Svenska börsbolagen

The aim of this paper is to examine the capacity for ethical reasoning of Swedish certi-fied auditors in the five largest accounting firms in Stockholm, and also how ethics courses affect the auditors' ability to ethically statement. To calculate the auditors ability to ethical statement, questionnaire has been used. The questionnaire is based on a psychological instrument, the so-called Defining Issues Test. At the beginning of the questionnaire some questions are asked about the ethics courses. From the questionnaire a calculation was made of an average index called p-score (Principled score).

Lärares åsikter om vårdnadshavares inflytande och delaktighet över utbildningen. Teachers opinions about legal guardians? influence and participation in education.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka om och i så fall hur fem lärare i årskurserna ett, fyra och fem arbetar med inflytande och delaktighet för vårdnadshavare i skolan. Genom kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer undersöktes vad delaktighet och inflytande för vårdnadshavare innebär för läraren. Vilka möjligheter för delaktighet och inflytande skapar läraren, och vilka för- respektive nackdelar med inflytande och delaktighet för vårdnadshavaren anser läraren kan finnas? Resultaten av undersökningen visar att lärarna gör likartade tolkningar av betydelsen och innebörden av delaktighet och inflytande för vårdnadshavaren. Det som skiljer lärarna och framförallt årskurserna åt är de olika arbetssätten de använder sig av i arbetet.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the employers? responsibilities for rehabilitation ofemployees in Sweden, who due to illness or injury are unable to work. The process of therehabilitation will be analyzed in a gender perspective. A minor comparative study aboutrehabilitation in Denmark will also be carried out. The purpose is to see how the process ofthe rehabilitation is designed for those who due to illness or injury are unable to work, whichfactors that affects the rehabilitation and which differences there are between Denmark andSweden regarding the employers responibility for rehabilitation.

Barns delaktighet i mål om vårdnad, boende och umgänge : Familjerättssekreterares erfarenhet av att tillförsäkra barn rätten till inflytande.

Forskning visar att barn har svårt att komma till tals i familjerättsliga processer. Syftet med studien var att undersöka familjerättssekreterares erfarenhet av att tillförsäkra barn rätten att komma till tals och få inflytande i vårdnad-, boende- och umgängesutredningar. Kvalitativa intervjuer genomfördes med åtta familjerättssekreterare och resultatet analyserades med IPA, en fenomenologisk forskningsansats. Familjerättssekreterare upplever att barnsamtal är givande och viktigt, de träffar alla barn i utredningarna och är lyhörda för enskilda barns behov men barns delaktighet varierar till följd av exempelvis kommunikationssvårigheter. Ramar, riktlinjer och förutsättningar för utredningsarbetet försvårar delvis barns delaktighet, barnsamtal efter utredarnas bedömning eller uppföljningssamtal genomförs därför inte i vidare hög grad.

Några svenska virkesaktörers system för skoglig planering

The purpose of this degree project is to give an overview of the planning system of four Swedish forest companies. The involved companies are ATA TIMBER, SYDVED, BERGS SKOG and VIDA SKOG. The study is based on information from a literature study and by interviews with personals from the four companies. Each company is described to get a better insight of the companies work and what potential they have. The description of the planning process comes after that. The companies are described separate from each other and will be compared later in this essay.

Externa aktörer och transitionsstater En studie om EU som en inflytelserik aktör och transitionsstater på Västra Balkan

In this thesis I discuss about economical and political transition in countries that is consecutively being induced by influential external actors. Looking closer on the role of the EU as a dynamic transitional force, with the intention of examining to what extent the EU can pursuit its interest and modify the economical as well as the political structures of transition countries. With relations to four transition states on the Western Balkans, more precise Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia-Montenegro and Macedonia (FYROM), I have examined the influential position of the EU. Another feature that is discussed is the approach of the EU and the cause of it in respect to the Western Balkans. Since the end of the crises in Kosovo the EU was given the leading roll in stabilizing and reconstructing the Western Balkans.

Background and Problem definition: Atypical employment is something that has becomeincreasingly common in recent decades, these are defined as positions where no relationship is of thetraditional type in which the employee has a long term relationship with the employer and where hecarries out his work at the premises of the employer. These atypical employments can take variousforms, it can be fixed term contracts, project work or jobs in employment agencies and so on. Thestaffing sector in Sweden has grown rapidly since the 90s, and since international research shows thatthe three-way relationship arising from the use of staffing agencies may lead to challenges in differentparts of HRM, we have chosen to study this topic.Aim: The purpose of this paper is to describe and understand how HRM is handled in atypicalemployment relationships.Method: The epistemological starting point for this work is hermeneutics, as a result of this theresearch approach is qualitative and inspired by abduction. The authors have chosen to carry out thework as a case study of three primary cases, each one consisting of an employment agency, a clientorganization and an employee. The analysis is based on the hermeneutics principles of interpretationand concentration of meaning.Results: What emerged as central to how HRM is handled are the interdependencies that existbetween the business environment and the strategies of the firm, how they affect different parts ofHRM and how participation and liminality have an impact on the three-way relationship.Keywords: HRM, atypical employment, staffing agencies, three-way relationship and strategy..

Barns rättighet är en pedagogs skyldighet : En studie i Kenya om pedagogers syn på barns inflytande i undervisningen

The purpose of my study was to explore how preschool educators in Kenya look at children's influence on teaching. Researchers have argued that the formal educational system in Kenya today is a remnant of its days as a colony when people were expected to blindly follow rules without questioning them. I have used qualitative interviews as a method in order get the most concrete understanding of educators? views on the influence from children. The educators I interviewed were based at a school I visited in Kenya.
