Ekonomelevers extrajobb under gymnasietiden : Utvecklingsmöjligheter för studie- och yrkesvägledningen

The knowledge of early employment experiences has evolved over the last decade in countries such as Australia and Great Britain. In Sweden, this type of research is still unusual and the aim of this study was to break new ground by highlighting some areas that could be of extra interest in the Swedish early employment research to come. A focus in the study was to give an overview of what job sectors school students work in; and the amount of jobs aquired through school-organized work placement, private social networks or personal marketing of own merits. In addition to this, a multi variate analysis was carried out to find patterns in the picture of early employment experiences among students at upper secondary school. The findings of the study has relevance for ways of conducting career counselling and therefore the general aim of this study is to point out the importance of developing the practises of vocational psychology.A survey among 74 teenaged school students with economics as their main subject has been carried out in a mid-size Swedish city May 2012.

Differentierande Relationer på Matfronten : -Mitt Långkoks väg till middagsbordet

Syfte:            Syftet med denna kandidatuppsats är att undersöka hur Collegium Restaurang & Konferens kan differentiera sin kylda färdigmat med fokus på kundens matval till kvällen, samt beskriva vilka möjligheter Collegium har att använda sig av relationsmarknadsföring.Metod:         Primärdata insamlades genom semi-strukturerade intervjuer med anställda och ägare på Collegium samt genom en enkät till nuvarande och potentiella kunder. Den insamlade informationen analyserades därefter till viss del kvantitativt (enkätsvar) och till viss del kvalitativt (intervjuer och de enkätsvaren med möjlighet till fria svar) med koppling till relevanta vetenskapliga teorier. Analysarbetet har dock till största delen genomförts kvalitativt genom användningen av the constant comparative method.Slutsats:       Studien som genomförts visar att kunderna inte äter färdigmat till kvällsmat särskilt ofta vilket innebär att det finns en marknadspotential. För att Collegium Restaurang & Konferens skall få kunderna intresserade av att köpa deras kylda färdigmat till kvällsmat, gärna oftare än de äter färdigmat idag, bör produkten vara lättillgänglig, resultera i en tidsbesparing men även vara ett socialt accepterat matval. Färdigmaten skall vara smakrik, ha tilltalande utseende, upplevas som nyttig och nylagad.

This essay concerns sponsorship of libraries within Sweden. It takes its starting-point in the libraries economical situation where resources are decreasing. The main purpose of the essay is to investigate how sponsorship is used in public libraries. The main questions are:o Why are sponsorships appealing to libraries? o What does the processes of sponsoring look like? o What are the possible risks concerning sponsor-ships ? could it endanger libraries democratic role? o How does library staff reflect on the role of libraries in contemporary society? In our study we chose to investigate the sponsorship issue from the sponsored libraries perspective.

Investor Relations is a function used by companies to compete for capital by creating relations with investors. It is a young function, earlier practiced by the same people who had responsible for exercising the Public Relations.Investor Relations has evolved a great deal lately but there are still no concrete theories behind the function. The problem partly consists of estimating the demand at an IPO and also to accurately value the business in comparison to the market. To set the price per share is problematic, since the company carrying out the public offering wants to optimise the amount of capital at the same time as they want the share to be subscribed in full. If the IPO would not be carried out, it could cause harm to the position of the underwriters. Purpose: To investigate whether underpricing exists associated with IPO:s on the Swedish market during the period 1995-1999.

Organizations over the world increasingly start to realize the possibilities of the use of a social intranet, also known as Enterprise 2.0. The social intranets can be used to collaborate and communicate with colleagues in the workplace. Both Cook (2008) and Coope (Barnett, 2011) say that Enterprise 2.0 is about to fundamentally change the way organizations communicate. But do companies know how these tools can be used?The study emanates from three questions:How can social intranets be used in business?How can internal communication and collaboration get easier through the use of a social intranet?What are the possible risks with the use of social intranets?In this study we have in a qualitative manner been interviewing two companies that currently use social intranets in their daily activities ? Background: The background explains different financial crises and the effect those crises had on the Swedish acquits regarding variable compensation. The resent discussion regarding variable compensation and the main problems with bonuses is also explained. Our theories for this essay is mainly based on the new directions from Finansinspektionen FFFS 2009:6,7 and stakeholder theory. Other theories used are agency theory, stewardship theory and economic man.Purpose: The purpose of this essay is to analyze the new directions for variable compensation and to investigate if these new directions can lead to a more long-term thinking for managers in banks. En studie av läsförståelseundervisningen i grundskolan och grundsärskolan : "Finns det något värre än att inte förstå när man tror att alla andra gör det?"

Denna studie inriktar sig mot läsförståelseundervisning och vikten av att förstå läst text. Studiens syfte är att undersöka lärarnas uppfattning om hur undervisning i läsförståelse bedrivs i grundskolan respektive grundsärskolan. Genom att använda den deskriptiva aspekten på intervjuer försöker vi påvisa både fakta och mening utifrån respondenternas svar. Vi har använt oss av @ografi som undersökningsmetod. Detta innebär att insamling av rådata sker genom intervjuer via mail. Svenska elevers läsförståelse har försämrats det senast decenniet vilket framkommer i den internationella undersökningen PISA 2009.

Intern marknadsföring - En jämförande studie mellan två tjänsteföretag

Syfte: Uppsatsens syfte är att ur ledningens perspektiv undersöka hur företag med olika kundgrupper arbetar med intern marknadsföring. Metod: Studien har genomförts med en kvalitativ forskningsintervju, på två företag som verkar i olika branscher. Slutsats: För tjänsteföretag ses personalen som den viktigaste tillgången. Teorier inom intern marknadsföring syftar till att behandla medarbetarna som företagets interna kunder. Vårt resultat visar att det föreligger både likheter och skillnader i företagens arbete med intern marknadsföring. Båda företagen värdesätter intern marknadsföring, men deras arbete att skapa detta skiljer organisationerna åt..

IT is a natural part in new IT-companies, like Framfab and Icon Medialab, but what role does IT have in a large, manufacturing company with a long history? The purpose with this thesis is to investigate how IT has influenced the internal communication in a company.

Hälsofrämjande arbete utfört av hälsopedagoger inom företagshälsovården

Studien var en undersökning riktad till hälsopedagoger verksamma inom en företagshälsovård iSverige, med syftet att beskriva deras hälsofrämjande arbete. Genom ett tillfällighetsurvalkontaktades åtta hälsopedagoger via mail med en förfrågan om de kunde tänka sig att delta istudien. Studien var av kvalitativ form där respondenterna fick svara på muntligt ställda frågorunder enskilda intervjuer. Fem av intervjuerna genomfördes under personliga möten och tre avdem genomfördes via telefon. Resultatet visade att respondenterna arbetade på individ-, gruppochorganisationsnivå.

Context: Congruent ambient scents are not used extensively in marketing and there is only some research in this area within the Swedish retail. Moreover, there are not many studies that show how ambient scents influence customer behavior in a Swedish clothing store.Purpose: Examine and analyze which of the ambient scent vanilla and white orchid that suite and can provide a signature fragrance to the clothing store Kompaniet in Kalmar. The purpose of this study is therefore to compare how these scents affect the customers? behavior in the servicescape.Method: A deductive research strategy with an experimental design. The experiment was performed in Kompaniet in Kalmar.Theory: Our theoretical framework consists of sensory marketing, male and female shopping behavior, the sense of smell and ambient scent in the servicescape atmospherics.Results: Here we present a presentation of Kompaniets servicescape.

Opion leaders and word-of-mouth - A Case Study of Masai Barefoot Technology

This research aims at identifying the opinion leaders in order to study their behaviour, characteristics, their role within the word of mouth process, and what importance they have upon another consumers purchase decision. Also, to investigate the content of the message being spread. The results from the study show that opinion leaders are strong in spreading word of mouth.
